Interesting how we all see different things. Today, defending a bit iffy at time, they should have had a goal. We nicked it at the end. Am of the same opinion as last season Austin is s**te.
I though Murphy was trying to get on the ball and make things happen made some errors but ok. Warnock was definitely our man of the match, some great tackles. Billy needs more help up front. Still work in progress in this revolution at the club, think top 10 is achieveable.
1.) Agree tewey 100%. Austin is awful. Cannot pass from A to B and when he does it usually puts a team mate under pressure. Murphy made mistakes but on other days he will be more effictive as at least he tried to get midfield going. Not sure bout Bianchi yet, he seems afraid to get stuck in and feel Tonge needs to start at this moment in time.
2.) I thought Austin did ok not brilliant but ok, for me Murphy was s***e. can't remember how many times he had possesion tried to pass it and straight to a boro player, relating to us back pedaling under pressure.

Ross will score many goals for Fulham in the championship. Fulham will probably win the league but a premiership striker Ross will never be. If we spend his transfer fee wisely we will threaten top six. I want to see more quality additions in defence and midfield before we address striker.
3.) Yeah George, build from the back, QPR went up on a solid defence granted they didn't score many but they definitely didn't concede many. A strong defence must be priority.

I know players are not supporters and most don't share the passion we do, but owners, managers, coaches and players change all the time.
Hockaday may not inspire many but let's at least see how the new set up works before jumping to conclusions. Watching the interviews at the end of last season, Felix the cat didn't overly impress me so good luck with that one Ross.
Lets get behind the new set up and the new squad and get back to where we belong - MOT

Absolutely certain he will be making all the final decisions on who we sign.
I suspect that he won't be spending big, so not expecting any marquee signings. Bet he goes with Hockaday as coach and he will be gone by Xmas.
The 'coaches' is door has begun revolving.

I agree stop going on about Beckford, let's move on. New manager new season. We will be starting again. Warnock left us with a his old crocks. BMD has to start again, he talks very positively and I for one am hopeful. Hope he is brave enough to use give some of the youngsters give them a chance as O'leary did when he came in at least they will have played together and may have some loyalty to the club. As I don't believe GFH have any money to invest in the team or are going to have. Finally, I hope that BMD give Somma the opportunity in the last couple of games. If you look at his record of goals to games ration its far better than any of the other strikers we currently have. Go on Brian give him a go.
1.) Do you pay attention to Leeds rumours? Somma is having surgery again, won't be playing this season and out of contract in june, probably won't ever see him run out for us again

Unfortunately Somma now needs yet another operation on the original cruciate injury and with his contract up in the summer I have to admit with a heavy heart that he should not be kept on. It is a massive shame for him and I for one would have loved to have seen him start every game but I think we now have to accept he is never going to be the player he was.
3.) Yeah go on brian give him a go, after he recovers from doing his cruciate ligament in again, which they seem to think might take a year or so! I feel its better to end his contract and say goodbye, no need for anyone with injury woes!

find it incredible that you aren't aware that Somma had another operation yesterday and won't play again this season. McD announced this after yesterdays game at his press conference and it was widely reported. Now coming out of contract and unlikely to get another sadly. Please keep up!

Do you really know what you are talking about, he is going under the knife again and won't be available again for months. We don't need crocks and be honest that's what he is, he won't geta new contract in the summer, quite rightly so, we need players that can play every game. I don't care if he's the best player in the world, if he is a crock we can't carry him anymore.
6.) I'd say to somma we won't offer you a contract but you can train with us and get fitness up and use facilities etc

Absolutely agree. Shame about Somma, think he could have been a serious asset.
I work with a Reading season ticker holder. BMD built his reputation by spotting young talent with in the ranks or players from League 1 and lower and bringing them through. Consider the likes that Reading have sold on in recent years. Long, Kitson, Sidwell.
As I am convinced that GFH, have no money. BMD could do a lot worse than give the youngsters ago he can influence them to play his way. Get rid of all of Warnocks dross. Give the likes of Dawson, Thompson, Poleon a chance.
