I agree Oldbri, Michael Oliver was an embarrassment tonight, certainly not his finest moment. I had a crazy thought at one point that he was trying his best to ensure the hosts won, but that could never happen?

Says it all. English officials officially the worst about. Should also be no suprise that the most contentious VAR decision in the group stages was also English officials. They are incompetent compared to their peers in Europe, who seem to have a much better grasp of implementing VAR.

Not having a go at fans who are against VAR but just posing the question, would we say anything if we were playing against Germany last night and those decisions went against the Germans?
