Blimey Charlie, Kamara has finally signed a 4 year deal. It’s been a busy day.

Maybe another addition tomorrow, hopefully a LB, but that seems unlikely, but let’s see.

I think as a whole, this has been the most productive transfer window I can remember for some time.

If we can keep Sini, Willy and Jimmy and maybe add another forward, I think we’ve got a right squad! Feeling far happier than a few weeks back.

Midfield General

1.) 31 Aug 2023 22:53:29
Oh no. You said productive. And sound positive. Damn you!

2.) 01 Sep 2023 10:30:10
Dont get over giddy fellas.

12 Jul 2023 09:54:58
Looks like Rodrigo off to Qatar, deal done and medical awaits according to Fabrizio Ramano. Good luck fella, fill your bank account and enjoy the sun, shame you couldn’t help us get back to the EPL.

Midfield General

1.) 12 Jul 2023 10:26:26
Indeed MG.

2.) 12 Jul 2023 10:45:14
Agree mid. Like to keep him. But good luck to him. That time of his career self before side.

3.) 12 Jul 2023 11:23:08
Beat me to it. Again.

4.) 12 Jul 2023 12:09:11
Can't understand any team coming for our players after last 2 seasons I hope these younguns shine this season them players on loan can gone run a duck.

5.) 14 Jul 2023 08:22:33
Shame he’s leaving. One of the few last year that looked like he cared.
At his age I understand it. Good luck to him.

Reports this morning are that Leeds are prepared to let Joffy go out on loan for the rest of the season.
I know he hasn’t had much of an impact this season and will be great for him to get games and goals, but hopefully shows that there is another striker due in Jan? Here’s hoping so!

Midfield General

1.) 09 Jan 2023 09:24:25
I’m not sure he is good enough for prem. So hopefully he does well where he goes and they buy him. And yes you would think that indicates incoming.

2.) 09 Jan 2023 10:06:47
A loan at the start of the season would’ve been the best thing, had we landed the right striker then. He needs a full season of regular football to help him fulfill his talent. I’m sure time away would see us getting back a much stronger and capable player. He does have it in him imo.

3.) 09 Jan 2023 13:31:57
You’d think the pope would be a good striker given time bright. Lol.

4.) 09 Jan 2023 17:15:17
I hear he showed a lot of promise in his early days, Aus. ???.

5.) 10 Jan 2023 07:23:51
Yeah, think Joffy was probably overhyped tbh, he gives his all but not sure he’s got enough about him to be a Premier League striker. Hope I’m wrong.

New rumour from a few different sources (French Football News/ Goal) saying we are trying to convince Julian Draxler to join from PSG.
Highly, highly unlikely, but wouldn’t that be epic!

Midfield General

1.) 08 Sep 2020 18:08:11
Epic effort but looks like he prefers living in Paris to living in Leeds

Strange lad.

2.) 08 Sep 2020 18:49:22
Yes apparently he is not interested.

Next!

3.) 09 Sep 2020 00:38:30
Other woody 😂.

4.) 09 Sep 2020 12:43:40
He is on £120,000.a week. Never happening.

5.) 09 Sep 2020 13:16:20
Draxler, Really? let's just park him on the list between Messi and Bale. Just above Ronaldo (Christiano that is) .
Maybe he does prefer Paris to Leeds but he could live in Batley and get the train in.

6.) 10 Sep 2020 11:10:37
Why not Beeston, and just walk to the ground?

26 Aug 2020 13:01:05
Apparently Greenwood from Arsenal is also having a medical today! This lad could be good signing, he chose Leeds over Man U! The lad is obviously bright as well!

Does anyone else think the reason they promoted Underwood from within is because they knew and told him, that there wasn’t £150m available as Paraag told us all?

Would have struggled to get a high profile Sporting Director for a newly promoted team, with a tiny budget, so go for the easy option with Underwood?

I’m beyond disappointed, I am angry at the way they have failed to conduct business, unlike every other club.

Paraag negotiates deals in his sleep! He couldn’t negotiate his way around IKEA.

Midfield General

1.) 01 Sep 2025 23:46:35
Quite possibly I’d say.

2.) 01 Sep 2025 23:55:48
Wonder if we've spent 150 million.
100 million on players transfer fees, then top up with dreaded agent fees plus a few million in wages for each player?

3.) 02 Sep 2025 08:28:54
I wonder if we have actually spend any money net since the 49ers became majority owners we took in net 140 mil last season plus parachute payments of upto 80 mil ( which I know will go to running the club)
And in that time can u remember a marquee signing from them none of these lot are it must have been piece in the efl or I missed him
This looks very much like the season we went down a lack of goals with 4 managers and a fire sale to follow
Only can hope that they jell together and put up a fight but I fear with very little gaols it going to be a bit like arsenal one week and Newcastle the next.

01 Sep 2025 15:29:20
It’s all going to be alright lads, the Marquee Signing is Harry Wilson
FFS!
I’m thinking Paraag may have lied again!
Who knows, maybe the next 4 hours may be monumental, but then again, maybe it’s Piroe back up front next game.

Midfield General

1.) 01 Sep 2025 15:39:18
yeah I hear we are talking about a perm move for Wilson now. Fulham rejected the loan.

2.) 01 Sep 2025 16:58:47
Personally, I think that's a good buy. He's a pretty decent player, with EPL experience and can take a good free kick.

3.) 01 Sep 2025 17:32:27
1 hour 29 mins to go what a s@£t show
Underwood resign
Parag resign.

4.) 01 Sep 2025 17:42:42
Agree Ani - wouldn't be my first choice but he is a fairly decent player as you say.

Think we would all feel a lot better if we can just get one more over the line.

5.) 01 Sep 2025 18:30:09
I'm with Ani, Wilson a decent addition imo, better than what we have currently.

28 Aug 2025 20:33:07
Lots of people and sites saying we are close to getting Facundo Buonanotte on loan for the season!
Definitely an upgrade on BA.

Midfield General

1.) 28 Aug 2025 21:52:51
Great news if true MG, very much concur on BA, just not good enough for the prem.

2.) 29 Aug 2025 05:29:01
I find Aaronson very similar to Jack Harrison, they give 100% on the pitch but sadly they both are no more than a load of pink fluff with no substance.
Two players that i would prefer not as first team selections.
Buonanotte however would be an upgrade and a great loan, if true and is possible?

Get In! Very happy being on holiday with an Everton fan ???.

Midfield General

1.) 18 Aug 2025 22:10:54
Fantastic result MG always a great experience when on your holiday.

Wouldn’t have wanted that penalty given against us but still think he leans toward ball, and only one team deserved to win that game, bloody fantastic!

2.) 18 Aug 2025 23:04:07
That's my thought Class, ball didn't strike the arm, the whole body moved towards the ball, yes it was by his side but made his body bigger as a result and gained an advantage because of it. No clue wtf the current rules state and right now don't care!

3.) 18 Aug 2025 23:21:41
I’m a strong believer if the ball strikes the hand / arm and deviates or blocks a shot on target, then it’s a penalty, regardless. He knew what he was doing. I agree with Neville, guilt written all over his face.

I would have been angry if it was awarded against us, but because the player chanced it and gave the ref the opportunity to award.

{Ed025's Note - stonewall pen Ani..

4.) 19 Aug 2025 01:59:12
For me, not intentional, and so not a penalty, and I'd have been well p#ssed off one like that had been given against us. Despite what they said afterwards, Moyes and Tarkowski would both have been appealing for it had it been the other way round. That said, we were much the better team, and deserved the 3 points.

5.) 19 Aug 2025 07:59:45
As ani says. If it blocks a goal bound shot. It’s a penalty. This was intentional too. After the ball struck he tucked his arm in further. He knew what he was doing leaving arm there for contact. 100%.

16 Aug 2025 07:27:37
This was the line up that lost 4-1 to Spurs in our last game in the Premier League.

Joel Robles, Luke Ayling, Rasmus Kristensen, Liam Cooper, Maximilian Wober, Pascal Struijk, Weston McKennie, Adam Forshaw, Robin Koch, Jack Harrison and Rodrigo

We have a much much better team in my opinion now, but I recognise that other teams will have improved squads, but we still need Justin James, Solomon (or alternative) , No 10 and CF.

I am very optimistic for this season and can’t wait. Let’s ensure we get something out of Mondays game (hopefully 3 points) , get a couple more players and enjoy the ride.

Think Newcastle have squashed those rumours! Hopefully as I reckon Bijal and Rodon would be a great partnership.

Just seen it’s an initial £12.5m rising to about £18m with add ons. Can’t believe we are not trying to jump in and sign him, it’s a steal at that price.

BT, how many people in this world (including you) would stand up in the middle of the office, school, factory (wherever the workplace is) and shout that their boss and owners are poor, that the decisions they are taking are wrong? Nobody, as it would ultimately result in looking for a new job (Nuno) .

We would all like to say we’ve got the balls to stand up, but we don’t, unless we are in a strong position to do so.

Think it’s time to give DF a break.

Completely agree Bermo. Farke may turn out to be a Premier League Manager Maestro, we simply don’t know, all we have to go on is his tenure at Norwich with a squad that cost about £3.80.

Let’s give it a go and if he fails then, we all have the right to question, demand change and criticise.

Nobody has their annual appraisal at work to be told they have done a world class job, to then be fired because someone else has become available, having been sacked from their last job ?‍♂️.
