Does anyone know if we are allowed to pick any of the returning loanees for the final three games?

Thinking of Cresswell, Shacks and Hjelde as they won't be involved in the play-offs.

{Ed002's Note - No, they are not available.}

Think Chelsea have just played our 'Get Out of Jail' card for this weekend: )

Not our finest hour (and a half) .

Never thought we'd get anything from this game - Arsenal simply love playing against us.

Of far more importance is the Forest game on Friday. Not only do we need to bounce back after today, we need to get a win! Too many draws recently, albeit away from home or against top few teams have enabled the likes of Forest and West Ham to stick around (they may lose a couple but one win and they are back at us again) .

Need Chelsea to do us a favour today, Forest and Palace to draw, and, as I said last week, keep an eye on Spurs. They've got an horrendous run of games against the top clubs coming up - potentially they could go another month without getting a single point.

Forget today, bad day at office.

MOT guys:)

As several of you have pointed out, it hasn't been an ideal weekend for us results wise.

Having said that if you think that 40 points is enough to stay up (recently it's been less) then we need four more wins and three more draws from our remaining 16 games to reach the 40 mark. Given that we've got five or six home matches that we really should win then I'm feeling confident.

West Ham, despite their two wins on the trot, still require 5 wins and 5 draws from their 15 remaining games, and they've got some very nasty fixtures coming up - struggling to see where they will get five wins from.

And we really need to start putting Spurs and Palace into the mix! Spurs will turn things around providing they get certain players back from injury but Palace? They are coming apart at the seams! Their manager shaking supporters hands this afternoon was very strange, best defender gone, Wharton now banned for a red card, Mateta seemingly wanting out too - it's not a pretty picture.

Come on Leeds - our fate is very much in our own hands MOT!

We have to beat all the teams below us - it's that simple . If we don't we will be in trouble and 40 maybe hard to come by . I originally though 35 might keep us up, but it's looking more like 40+.

Not the sort of game that will live long in the memory but a game of vital importance nevertheless!

Important not only because West Ham haven't been able to close the gap but also because it now puts Bournemouth and Spurs within touching distance.

With the football we are playing and the feelgood factor running through the club it would be great to start climbing a few places up the league.

Question; Spurs swooped like vultures for Archie Gray when we failed to gain promotion a couple of years ago - do we think we should return and grab him back from them at the end of the season? He's one of us, Leeds through and through, and an excellent young footballer who will only get better but not whilst he remains with the big six pretenders of north London!

Cleggy I like Gray but I have just watched him play westspam and not impressed at all seems to move around at lot but not doing anything not really in the game at all can’t see how he would fit in .
Just saying.

2.) 17 Jan 2026 22:31:56
Agreed, I'd not want Archie Gray back, or Kalvin Phillips, or Charle Cresswell, or any ex United players. We, like them have moved on, and there is no place in football for sentiment.

Fair point Whiteman - his move to Spurs has not improved his game.

Still a very talented player though who needs to move on (and the sooner the better for his sake)

Thought the four lads who came in today were excellent.

Well played one and all - haven't enjoyed a nil - nil as much in a long time.

Bring on Sunday!

And make sure there's a loan clause correctly inserted into the contract.

Sorry, previous regime! Just couldn't help myself.

Absolutely DG!
Nearly fell off my chair when I saw that price tag.

Makes you wonder what Palace will ask, and get for Mateta who is on a different level to Strand Larsen.

What price for DCL given the season he's having? Not that we'd now sell of course:)
