Ticket news in, unless you have attended 9 games thus year not ticket, even though you have a membership counts for nothing.

Lewis O'Brian possibly coming, be a great signing. We get James a, the above, a left back and top striker ill be a happy man.

dougie2310

1.) 22 Aug 2023 15:36:05
O'Brian is proven at this level. Let's hope this one has some truth to it.

2.) 22 Aug 2023 16:09:47
Deffo, he wanted Leeds in the first place, but once again we dilly dallyed and missed out. We never just go for it, so frustrating.

20 Aug 2021 13:16:45
Looks like Lang on his way for £21million, get in there😉😉😉.

1.) 20 Aug 2021 16:05:04
Reports I've read Dougie say we've agreed personal terms but are currently negotiating with Brugge.
Hope it happens but doesn't sound like a done deal yet.

2.) 20 Aug 2021 16:50:18
Go to Wikipedia he's listed as playing for Leeds utd!

3.) 20 Aug 2021 18:00:29
What’s that’s! I can feel my nostrils starting to tingle can anyone else feel it? Wait a minute I know what it it is, it’s 🐂 💩.

4.) 20 Aug 2021 18:02:21
We agreed terms with de Paul too but nothing happened.

5.) 20 Aug 2021 18:58:50
Martyn probably correct. It don't make sense since few days ago there was an article saying £15m was too much for Kent. So £6m more for Lang isn't?

6.) 20 Aug 2021 19:39:32
Not saying he going to set the Prem on fire George, but you would think Lang has played to a higher standard then Kent above in Glasgowland, Kent's stats are not a true reflection of his ability when he is playing St Mirren at Ibrox . Hence langs higher price.

7.) 20 Aug 2021 21:26:42
CC Correct. We can't be skint if we're going to pay £21m. I prefer Cunha to Lang but Bub knows what he's doing most of time.

8.) 21 Aug 2021 09:38:42
Sorry to say, Phil Hay and Fabrizio Romano both say there is nothing in these latest reports.

9.) 21 Aug 2021 11:06:12
I told you I could smell 🐂💩.

10.) 21 Aug 2021 13:23:25
I predict a riot.

11.) 21 Aug 2021 14:31:25
No Noa and no riot!

07 Aug 2021 14:24:48
O'Brian not in the bidders squad today, looks like he's coming ;)

dougie2310

1.) 07 Aug 2021 17:43:20
Positve c.v. test reported Dougie.

2.) 07 Aug 2021 20:25:45
Should probably just put him down then AGM.

3.) 07 Aug 2021 22:24:47
Just giving the reason for not being in the squad dl that's all!

Rumour we after todd cantwell from Norwich any thoughts i know nothing.

dougie2310

1.) 26 Sep 2020 18:57:56
Decent player but not quite at the level we’ve been looking at and probably at a higher price so . can’t see it personally.

2.) 26 Sep 2020 21:50:32
Cheers woody.

3.) 27 Sep 2020 10:12:10
£15m offer. Scored 6 times I the Prem last season so has experience. For the price a decent buy I think.

4.) 27 Sep 2020 15:24:50
Definitely think this rumour has legs, Cantwell has been left out of Norwich 's match day squad.

5.) 27 Sep 2020 19:19:47
love cantwell, young, hungry, pace and can played. offered Norwich a lot last season and we must assume he would get better under belisa.15 million a steal in my opinion and love to see players come from them to us other than other way round.

6.) 28 Sep 2020 11:04:58
I don’t even know the kid, but great to hear some perspectives from those that have watched him! 👍🏻🍺.

Does anyone else feel like this like waiting for Christmas as a kid, 2 more sleeps left. All that excitement and anticipation of what the day will bring, nothing else has been on my mind since last Thursday. I hope when I see this huge box it containing a pressie that I really want, and not something t you had to put a face on to say thanks, but inside you're gutted.
I wish you all 2 more happy sleeps, and here's to opening up a subutteo table at 5pm on Sunday. MOT.

dougie2310

1.) 24 May 2024 08:41:35
It’s a peculiar feeling. Excitement, nervous, dread, wonder? They are all in there. Changing every minute.

2.) 24 May 2024 12:56:11
same dougie but I always feel like that when going to see Leeds. I hate it when we lose any game regardless of what is at stake.

3.) 24 May 2024 14:27:01
Nervous as a kitten Dougie…. Mrs Class just said she’ll be glad when it’s all finally over as allegedly I've been unbearable (even more than normal) I think she’s referring to Sunday’s game!

Well where would she go?

4.) 24 May 2024 18:05:46
Trying to think of anything else at the moment.

I’ll let the nerves and anticipation kick in when I arrive at Elland Road on Sunday morning to get on the supporters coach.

5.) 24 May 2024 19:34:20
fairly optimistic of victory.

16 May 2024 22:57:38
I said a few posts ago that Jimmy would raise his game tonight, on the cusp of the Wembley showroom and he hasn't disappointed, and before you have a pop I am glad. He can do this all he likes as long as we go up, unless 1970 wants to stay in the championship forever?.

dougie2310

1.) 17 May 2024 08:17:36
I think he also made a point in his celebrations for the goal. Fair play to him. He was back to his very best last night, and any thoughts of a rift between him and JP was purely media fabrication to mix things up.

16 May 2024 22:23:22
Well pick the bones out of that, what a performance, what an atmosphere (in the words of Russ Abbott) , what a team, what a crowd.
I genuinely had tears on my eyes tonight, I am so proud if what we all are, it's amazing. MOT love this club, love you all including the ups and downs of our conversation ?.

16 May 2024 18:57:28
I am so nervous, Baz gis a cuddle. I got beers in, pizza in and my bar ready with surround sound, don't let me down my beloved club. MOT.

dougie2310

1.) 16 May 2024 19:50:26
Have faith Stevie my little padua, we are good to go ?.

2.) 16 May 2024 20:57:00
Cuddle and big hugs Dougie pal
THREE of them .

1st half masterclass ???.

3.) 16 May 2024 22:13:00
Definitely the best we have played all season! Like I said Baz, Take it to them for 90 minutes. Good to see everyone smiling today though. That crowd was unbelievable!

4.) 17 May 2024 00:19:40
Well said Hooksie indeed.

13 May 2024 15:53:54
Just had a thought bubble.
Do you think VAR should be used in the play off semi finals?
My personal opinion is yes, there is so much at stake and any little error is critical to both clubs.
Is it used in the final?

dougie2310

1.) 13 May 2024 16:44:02
Agree d.

2.) 13 May 2024 17:26:27
Defo yes, but with more time, and more VAR officials who are proven to be neutral, involved in the decisions.

3.) 13 May 2024 17:31:41
Should be VAR for semis

Read somewhere that VAR is used at playoff Wembley finals.

4.) 13 May 2024 17:34:03
It wouldn't be a tickle though Woody and Dougie . more a Baz Bazooka Special.

5.) 13 May 2024 17:41:36
Sadly it is being used in the final.

6.) 13 May 2024 18:10:10
Sadly Ani, it's necessary in my opinion. Why would you not want it for something so important?

7.) 13 May 2024 18:59:50
Ironically it never worked for us in the Premiership and it for sure doesn’t work without it in the Championship, in my opinion.

8.) 13 May 2024 19:24:39
I know what Ani is thinking…. You can guarantee that it won’t be used to our advantage, first penalty shout, offside, red card or disallowed goal, it will be us on the wrong side of it! ????.

9.) 13 May 2024 19:36:33
Well Dougie, when we have goal given on field, but then ruled out with VAR, I won't be thanking VAR.

I just prefer the decision, right or wrong, done and dusted in 3 seconds; not 3 minutes. and even after 3 minutes still probably controversial.

10.) 13 May 2024 19:47:12
Same Ani.

11.) 13 May 2024 21:19:26
Two points to make around this.
In the first leg, was any Leeds supporter thinking willy should have had a penalty or at the very least a free kick?
Was Firpo offside?
VAR would have at least analysed it, but all we have done is moaned about the decisions made thinking we were hard done by.

12.) 13 May 2024 23:36:27
Spot on Dougie.

13.) 14 May 2024 00:27:05
OP Reason it didn't help us in the EPL is because we are not part of the top 6 elite.

14.) 14 May 2024 06:53:03
…and Dougie, VAR wouldn’t have overturned the penalty decision, so those moaning would still be moaning. 99% of folks are not moaning either way; they moved on 3 seconds after the decision.

I watched the Villa v Liverpool game last night, great spectacle spoilt by nearly 8 minutes of VAR interventions.

I don’t like VAR, simple as, and I firmly believe unless it’s universally used (prefer universally unused) , it is unfair. Look at the FA Cup, only used when games played at EPL grounds. EPL team advantage? Do you think Coventry would have preferred to be celebrating their 4-3 comeback win at Wembley, or moaning about how VAR saved Man U.

It is what it is, I think VAR overall has ruined the game, solved problems that really didn’t exist, and left fans moaning just the same. Refs get decisions wrong, Linesman miss things, players make mistakes, fans see different things; it’s the fabric of the game in my opinion.

15.) 14 May 2024 08:00:08
Have always said that VAR isn't the problem - it's the people who use it!

16.) 14 May 2024 11:11:34
Bit like guns Cleggy. but I think we would all prefer a world without guns nevertheless!

17.) 14 May 2024 11:23:26
I'm with Ani on this. Var has ruined too many great moments in games. Idiot officials can't use it properly so it's not really fit for purpose as is.

18.) 14 May 2024 11:42:54
If you can't make a correct decision in slow playback time then you should be a ref. The Coventry game you mention, that goal wouldn't have stood anyway, it's Manure we are talking about after all. We agree to disagree, but the point is this, if its there then it should be used in matches such as the playoffs due to how much is at stake, with good refs of course.

19.) 14 May 2024 12:04:30
Dougie 100%

If you can't make a correct decision in slow motion and numerous replays then you should NOT be a ref

VAR officials that get it wrong should be suspended/ sacked.

20.) 14 May 2024 13:37:02
Aside from the obvious errors, I hate how it is distorting the game play, e. g. defenders holding a ridiculous high line because they no longer risk the linesman missing an off-side. You see this day in day out. It doesn't happen in the championship, but it's in every game in the EPL. In my opinion, the only thing VAR should be involved in, is serious foul play and goal line tech; everything else destroys the spectacle.

Ref's not making decisions, or linesman flagging. Allowing play to continue when routinely a flag would go up, then when nothing happens, i. e. the ball goes for a goal kick or a save, ignore the offside and play-on with a goal kick, rather than a free-kick 40 yards further up field.

It doesn't really solve the contentious issues, just changes who to blame and has changed the way the game is being played.

21.) 14 May 2024 19:27:31
Great points, Ani!

Can't predict this, too scared. I just hope we get a goal before they do and then we need to ensure we don't step off the gas and sit back. If we do get the first and stay on the front foot I believe we will win.
I feel sick inside because of magnitude of this game. This is our moment, our perfect moment (Martine Mcutchen) , whatever happens every loser wins (Nick Berry) , but we are the champions (Queen)
MOT all, have a great day and we can resume some banter later today.

Spot on Woody with what you said. They haven't, and I just hope it doesn't turn into a cagey boxing match, little jab hear and there. We need to go out like we did against Norwich. No excuses around fatigue can be given, they should be fresh and ready to go, and I feel confident we will play well, potential showroom window for some, and what better stage.
