Malaga are interested in Ross McCormack and are now favourites on a betting site. Didn't see that coming!

JS96

1.) I've always said Ross should go to a continental European league if he leaves us. He's very technical and would do well in somewhere like La Liga where there's a lot more smaller players.

Leicester, Cardiff, Derby and Newcastle are all after Ross McCormack this summer. Accordingly to reports, we're looking for £10 million; double what we wanted in January.

JS96

1.) Can not see Ross going to another Championship side!
However if a couple of prem teams start a bidding war this could push the price up, as M C knows are squad needs major work hence the two year plan .

2.) The difference is that we needed the money in january

3.) Ross will leave for about 7.5 to 8 mill. I imagine Newcastle will be destination as I'm sure they'll pay him 40k a week.

4.) AGREE Ross will only leave for the premiership and if someone offered £10mill i'd jump in the car and drive him ALL THE WAY.
Hes a good player but i'm afraid he's NOT premiership standard lads ;)

5.) Surely if he's worth that much MC will think he has one top class striker to build his team bound and save himself 10 million on buying another striker to build a team around round. Ross doesn't want to leave, 99% of fans don't want him to leave so let's use him as the nucleus of our building program to achieve a top class side to take us back to where we belong.

6.) RM not going anywhere, as stated many times, he doesn't want to leave and Massimo doesn't need to sell

7.) Love ross he is the only footballer at ER but 10 million is a great price and would snap that up, if the money goes back in squad and is spent by the right manager. the right manager could buy half a championship winning squad with 10 mill and we need at least nine good/very good players if we are to go up

8.) 09 May 2014 21:39:49
In my opinion RM will wait to see how we rebuild the squad. If there is no sign of spending and a upgrade of the squad he will move. It's down to Cellino purse strings to see if he stays. I also think his purse strings are not as big as people are hoping but probably better than what we've had so far!

9.) McCormack did not say he would not leave, he said he would not ask, that is very different

10.) Luv Ross but I'd snap their hands off for £10M!

11.) 10 million could get us 4 very good championship players which is what we need and makes very good buisness sense no matter how good Ross is we have to look at the bigger picture which is the premiership and we have more chance with 4 good players then just 1

12.) Edfiegrayisking you are right that RM said he would never ask to leave but in the same interview I saw him in he said he would love to see his career out with leeds

Sam Byram rumoured to be a target for Southampton if Chambers, their current highly rated Number 2 Right Back, leaves to a top Premier League club. According to a newspaper we would, "not be able to turn down significant offers for the 20 year old unless a takeover is complete."

David Haigh has declared Leeds will not go into administration if the takeover doesn't come off. Is it only me finding anything that comes out of the club nowadays hard to believe?

JS96

1.) Ticks most boxes?. So if that's 3 of 10 where anyone else 2 of 10, doesn't say a lot.

2.) Keep Calm and believe David Haigh?

Managing Director David Haigh has claimed there is no danger of the club going into administration, but should we still be worried?

In today ‘s Yorkshire Post Haigh assured us that the club has the funds to keep going for the time being, even though Massimo Cellino has stopped putting any further funding until such time as his takeover is approved.

'The club is in good hands. It has money and there is no chance of the club going into administration. None whatsoever. I keep hearing these whispers, where people have put two and two together to make 550. We had a winding-up order recently, which caused fans to panic. “

3.) He is not likely to say the club will go into admin is he! If the deal falls through they will go looking for another buyer, but they will have to accept a lower price. GFH with have to cut their losses all lose it all, it's a no brainer really. Expect to see Flowers back in.

4.) Cellino quoted in same YEP editions as viewing Leeds United as a financial "black hole". He should know the true finances of our club better than anyone having seen the books and undertaken due diligence in pursuit of his bid to buy the club. His statement represents the polar opposite of Haigh's claims/re-assurances. David Haigh's rumours are 'unbelievable' every day of the week IMO.

A newspaper stating that McDermott will face the sack if he doesn't get Leeds promoted this season. Apparently Cellino "expects Leeds to get to the Premier League immediately." In my opinion a load of drobble, but this is Leeds we're talking about; nothing's improbable.

JS96

1.) Report is in Sunday Mirror so far from credible as it's a newspaper. Have to say though still think McDermott is on borrowed time as performances simply not good enough and substitutions absolutely baffling, none more shocking than yesterday when leaving kebe on pitch until last minute of game, with him and Stewart, both McDermott signings, is almost like playing with 9 men

2.) Wont lose any sleep over that

3.) Well BMcD Did say his job is dependant upon results so could well be if not before!

4.) I rate mcDermott to many negative fans! He will do fine with time, next season is leeds year! MOT Joel

5.) Absolutely well said while these two are playing its like playing with 9 men, neither contribute in the least, panick buys, Stewart worst player we have ever signed.

6.) I don't think Cellino can realistically target promotion this season. I think as long as the club is heading in the right direction come the summer McDermott will be here next season.
