Worries me that TC thinks our last games have not been that bad. Yes we played slightly better at Ipswich for a time, but if this is his standard we really are up the creak. I want us to show some steel tomorrow and send Millwall back pointless. Don't want us rolling over and allowing Morison to come back and haunt us.

Need to start a winning run today by putting Millwall to the sword. The players need to stand up to the physicality and protect Hernandez as our creative playmaker. I think we will come back strong and go for a 3-1 win with Hernandez Roofe and Pontus all scoring. MOT

Forshaw not playing tomorrow as he is injured with a small problem. Didn't think TC would start with him as he struggles with the concept that a player who does not train with him must be unfit. De Bock must be super fit by now if he is back from Belgium

Notts I also believe there's couple other reasons. He may be carrying a small knock plus I wouldn't want to start my signing against physical Millwall. He'd only make bench in a debut for me. Caution preferable especially with KP on verge of a suspension.

Alf, if someone had told you we wouldn't make a £5m signing for the next 17 years (and we actually still haven't) how would you have responded? Would you have contacted the looney bin and asked them to pay the person a visit?

Having pulled out of the Newcastle deal, Amanda Staveley is reportedly turning her attentions to LUFC. The money being touted is enough to buy the club plus £200m to spend on players over two windows. The NUFC deal isn't dead in the water yet and this story is very probably false but makes you think doesn't it?

More than happy with Radz, for once some stability and what seems like an owner who knows what he's doing. She can keep the 200m and spend it on pints with Ashley whilst they talk bidnas.

So, TC saying Forshaw not ready for the squad tomorrow, that leaves us with Phillips and? . I went to Birmingham and shaunnesy was tried there and truth be known he was very very poor, thus leaves us with klich or Anita (scary I know! ) . who would people choose? . what's happened to viera, the club seem to be very tight lipped on his injury?

Yep I echo them sentiments sounds like Vieira might be back in contention but once again this game doesn't bode well who's going to create and score the goals, even at home the system we play where trying to knick games by the odd goal.

Then he will play been unfit and look sluggish be second to every ball and lazy in the pass and then be slated by you all no winning with some. I love your posts the majority of the time Aus even the ones slating people and team because I actually agree but this post makes no sense when we need to win a very important game in our season

So we spend the most we've spent on a player in 16 years, who has a slight injury, force him to play, which makes the injury worse, and he's out for 6 months. sound, sound logic. and like davey says, if he's poor on his first performance, he gets utterly panned by a large section of fans. erm, no.

mmm. and with all of our current focus on getting a top quality striker, we seem to be losing sight of the need to offload and acquire at least one goalie. No point banging em in at one end and leaking them at the other.

Theres two line ups i'm looking at this weekend, and they both depend on the new boy. I think de bock should have nailed his starting place this week, and the sooner we get him in the better. lineup 1: wied, berardi, jansson, coops, de bock, forshaw, phillips, alioski, hernandez, dallas, roofe. which i think is likely because he loves phillips but is the new boy ready, and is dallas ready. Second is wied, barardi, jansson, coops, de bock, phillips, anita, alioski, hernandez, roofe, lasogga, which i'm really not so keen on. I have noticed that while roofe has been in the team and generally the main striker, we seem to win games. we have won 6 and drawn 1 of the last 10 games that roofe has started up top, i think that says a lot that we are taking 19 points from 10 games with him up there. Yes its not all based on that, but with 20 games left the same team needs to be fielded consistently really imo. Team for the long run i'd say is wied, ayling, jansson, coops, de bock, vieira, forshaw, alioski, saiz, hernandez, roofe. This is of course unless we sign a new striker then roofe/ hernandez may be forced out.

Sacko has it but we all know he can't use it tobthe effect we want, he may not have pl pace but I would have thought he was more than quick enough for the championship.

19 Jan 2018 17:13:04
Sackos main asset is not played to. With his pace he should sit on the shoulder of his full back and just leave him behind in a straight chase for a diagonal ball. Right now he invariably receives the ball to feet, stops and passes inside.
