as strongly believe that under ppg the Premier league would have voted for no relegation and also blocked promotion to the EPL . plenty of quotes and evidence supporting this desire from EPL Chief Richard Masters and Chief Executives from all hne bottom 6 EPL clubs.

I remember 1972 when we needed a point from Wolves for the double. Listened to it as a lad in bed with one of those awful little white ear pieces from an AIWA radio. - an exciting and ultimately sad sad night for a young un! . This will not happen again. Stoke leak a few so should be ok tonight. Rest of games should be more open as all need points - WE WILL GO UP.

I think so but the run in last season wasn't great either. I think a Win against Barnsley, . Draws against Stoke, Swansea and Charlton and a loss against Derby. Going to put a bet on that. If my horse racing experience is anything to go by it will never happen.

PREDICTION. We will get a maximum of six (6) points by the end of the season. Brentford will need nine (9) points and West Brom seven (7) to pip us for automatic promotion. I think they will do it. The only difficulty for West Brom is their fixture with Fulham. We will be then with Fulham, Nottingham and Cardiff in the Play offs (Maybe Derby) and we will be beaten by Cardiff.

It will be sloppy defending and a lack of clinical finishing that will be our undoing. It's not about the goals we score it's about the ones we miss. Set piece defending as well! Hope by saying it - it won't happen. Like my occasional flutter on the horses. I can always pick the winners till I put money on them.

Wow. Bit negative there Hess but I know exactly what you mean. I NEVER predict anything, it's my kiss of death. Even when I am overflowing with anticipation I keep it to myself, just in case. Best way, proclaim the worse and expect the best.

Hess, you say maybe derby in the play offs, but your not giving them a chance against west brom, surely if derby are to make a push they need to take points off west brom and brentford, IMO sick to death of the negativity.

It's only natural to fear the worst and hope for the best. All I can say if we were offered to swap with Brom, Brentford or Fulham none of us would. If we'd have been offered the position we are in now, at the beginning of the season, we would have grabbed it with both hands.
Promotion and the title are in our own hands with 5 games left, no other club can say the same.

Not being negative. I'm giving so many fans the chance to say 'I told you' when we beat Stoke, Barnsley Swansea and get promotion against Derby. When you've supported Leeds as long as I have and coached a few of their players when they were youngsters you occasionally like to paint the worst case scenario to get a nice surprise. Doesn't happen that often but good when it does.
