In view of the upcoming battle for starting slots, does anyone know who the next breakthrough may be?
I am thinking of the likes of midfield Charlies, Allen and Crew. Then upfront two wingers in Keenan Carole and Amari Miller. Sadly I do not get the opportunity to see the Academy first hand so I am hoping there are some of you who get the chance to follow the young lads' progress. Any ideas?

Leodis, What difference does it make if D Farke doesn't use our talented Academy youngsters. If Joseph and Creswell don't fit in his plans what chance the rest of them have.
Don't say that Archie has played all season, Yes he has had a good year "BUT" DF would have never given him a fair shot either if his last name wasn't Gray. Facts!

He hasn’t given MJ enough chances, that much is true. 100%.
Cresswell was found wanting with his his attitude, which took some time to address. Next season “may” yet prove to be his big breakthrough? . Farke doesn’t dislike the lad, just needed him to apply himself more, and get in line with the effort and focus of the rest of the squad.
So no, I don’t agree with Hooksie either, in any of his statements, and am more in agreement with MG!

We all said that the great Bielsa had his favourites (and that applies to all managers) or is it just that they see behind the scenes and on the training pitch so are in a much better position to judge if a player is "ready".
In these constricting times we may see the faith that DF has in some of the purchases and some of the pre-seasons when they occur. You all may get your wish and see MJ start a full 90. I hope for his (and our) sakes he is as good as you all think/ hope.

I don’t have evidence Baz, but I don’t believe for one moment a conversation at Leeds went like this:
Coaching Staff: 'So Daniel, we’ve got this young lad in the under 21's, who’s an alright player'.
DF: 'If he’s only alright, why would we give him a chance in the first team?'
Coaching Staff: 'Well, his surname is Gray, son of Andy, grandson of Frank and great nephew of Eddie'.
DF: 'Well why didn’t you say, it's a no brainer, let's stick him in the starting 11! While we’re at it, does Lee Chapman have a son we can stick up front next week?'.
A name will open opportunities to showcase your talent to clubs, that I don’t dispute, but in no way (apart from Weah’s brother), does a name get you game time.

The reference to the Gray name was foundationless, and about as likely as the second coming in term of probability. Hence the scorn and disdain it generated. You’re defending the indefensible now.

What are you talking about Baz, what could be the evidence that you want to see that shows Archie got in the first team because of his name, it was his ability that did it, we have all seen it this season, that’s the evidence
Instead of asking for evidence that his name didn’t help him get in the first team, why have you never asked your allie Bermuda for proof that his name DID get his opportunity? As he stated, that was Fact, so surely there is evidence to support it. So I put it back to you to provide evidence.
Instead of just arguing with everyone (apart from a few that can abide to agree with you) , why not just have banter, or join a different chat group, you will never change and simply be a keyboard warrior.
