Being realistic how much money will need to be spent in the January transfer window?

For me anything up to 10 million would suffice as long as we find a new GK and CAM. I would however be extremely disappointed if both or any deals were solely loans!

I think if we are going to buy. May as well buy for prem.
$20 mill on 3 players.
No point buying average like Newcastle goalie and Brent ford player.

A lot of talk of Darlow coming from Newky and they want to sell rather than loan. Talk of £4m. Some chap from the Hammers on loan at Oxford mentioned and Gomez keeps popping up. Would prefer Gomez to the West Ham guy, but I trust Bielsa enough to be happy to worry not and go with the flow. My utterly baseless optimism about our season ahead is at risk of running amock. Whilst not a gambling man, I am thinking of asking the bookies of what odds they will give me now, of us beating the vomits at ER next season.

I think it will be highly likely that any deals made will be loans, with the potential of loan to buy. The loss of Blackman has left a loan position free and we will not see a transfer fee for Saiz until the Summer.

Nor do we have to splash the cash. No point spending for the PL until we are actually in it! A couple of top quality loans, with the option to buy, is fine by me.
