Just a question.
What qualifications do people have on here?
Coaching or reffing?
Interested to know. Canada is clearly qualified, and I can tell from his posts.

I was an unused sub in the 1980 east cheshire U13's cup winning side and received my winners medal off Gordon Burns of the Krypton Factor so clearly my foitball qualifications and know how speak for themselves.

Mine is Canadian Provincial B I think it's called.
As ridiculous as it is in order for a kids teams to compete at the National Championships after qualifying as the Provincial Champions, the coach needs this qualification. I mean, we won provincials so surely I proved I can coach but no, the course had to be done and passed. Joke.
Can honestly say it didn't make me understand the game any better.

I was the highly qualified and innovative coach of my church choir kids football team for a couple of seasons in the mid 1980s. Highly qualified in that I had 10 O levels (though I did have knot tying and several other badges from Cubs if that counts) . Innovative in allowing ringers - and girls ? (who were taller, stronger and actually better than some of the lads) to play in our team. Frustratingly we were still only losing finalists in our annual cup competition.

Played for Fulham youth team and played alongside Eddie Newton in midfield for schools team.
Nowadays more interested in making money from gambling and the more than odd BABYSHAM.
Always thought about coaching but never really got the time.

Sadly I have watched some with all the coaching badges needed make the most irrational decisions possible. So badges and bits of paper are no proof whatsoever of common sense.

50+ years of watching Leeds; there are no other qualifications needed.

Learnt from some of the best. and sadly some of the very worst!
