Got to say I check it too Tory each morning before I head off to work, sad or what. Have designed myself to at worse a possible loss to Villa and Norwich spoiling my fun for a few days but then expect us to regain top spot.

Evening gents. My Scouse friend has just conceded that he is more confident of us staying at the top than them. He is wary of Citey, but I realised that I am not really afraid of any of our rivals. I used to worry about our flaws, but now accepting that our rivals have as many or more than us. Been a long time chaps. MOT.

But no team below us is as consistent. They all slip up every now and then. There are no dominant relentless teams.
On paper they may have players that are better than ours but, we are a team that works hard.
No reason why we can’t continue as we have.

Morning all, being a Leeds fan I always think it’s wise to check the table first thing in the morning to see if there have been any overnight points deductions! This morning so far so good!
I’d really like us to beat Villa because I’d like the warm cosy feeling of waking up on Christmas Day top of the table!
That said, think it’s going to be tough and a point would be very good. I see Villa and West Brom as the two teams that can have blistering second halves of the season to threaten us in the top two.

clarke is just an impact sub at the moment but what a great option on the bench if they get his fitness up to full 90 he will be a great option to haev.
