On News now that we have approached the Udders regarding Nakki Wells

dogwise

1.) 28 Aug 2017 18:50:59
Please no. I shall be most irate if we buy him.

just reading that Monk to be offered 5 year deal . Surely if this is the case Rad must be looking at some player investment. Depending on who is released or is sold as to how many players we sign. Of course we have a number of loans and apart from Bark who I would sign the rest can go . Would see if Tammy Abraham is avail for season loan .

dogwise

1.) 10 May 2017 18:46:49
Good bark dog. Abraham would be brilliant for us. Prefer outright purchase along with Tom Lawrence.

2.) 11 May 2017 09:33:51
George very good call yea he was excellent for Ipswich I believe, can you imagine if we could get the pair of them, now that would show intent.

3.) 11 May 2017 17:20:57
Thanks dawg. There are others to consider too. We should compile list and send to Rad.

I have just seen Leeds are favourites to sign Patrick Bamford . I know we are being linked with every tom, dick and harry at the moment but this would be an excellent signing surely.

News stating we have put an offer in for Soren Gonther who is a defender 30yrs old, surly a back plan incase of injuries or suspension.

dogwise

1.) 24 Dec 2016 01:19:00
We are supposedly prepared to offer him 3 times his wage. a mighty £7k pw so yeah i'm guessing he is only coming in as cover at that point, hardly the wage of a champ starter. Would rather we went back in for Beugledijk, younger and very similar stats and stature to Pontus, he would seemingly offer Pontus and Bartley more competition. Maybe Pep and Monkey have seen something in Gonther others haven't though?

2.) 25 Dec 2016 11:28:19
He's there team captain and supposedly very consistent.

3.) 26 Dec 2016 18:31:02
I read he wouldn't be joining until the summer if we do make a move.

4.) 27 Dec 2016 02:16:48
My understanding Alf, is that Monk would like him this window but St Pauli are reluctant to sell whilst they are mired in a relegation battle. As a result we might sign him for a fee if we can come to an arrangement but we can alternatively offer him a pre-contract for the summer on Jan 1st. I just don't see why we would though when we have a realistic chance of being in the Prem next season which would necessitate us needing better players that a German second Div CB.

5.) 27 Dec 2016 11:52:52
Good knowledge Gummie. Totally agree that we shouldn't be signing champ players if we are potentially in the prem.

Been watching the carry on with Bolton and Bury, really feel for the fans of the clubs .
It's times like these we can all remember .

dogwise

1.) 27 Aug 2019 11:03:53
Really hope they both get something sorted. Great, traditional English clubs.

2.) 27 Aug 2019 15:54:13
Here here Dogwise, important prudent financial management goes alongside stronger regulation and scrutiny of owner behaviour. The Salford FC model is an interesting one. Be interesting to see how that continues. Like the idea of those who have done well out of the game putting something back. Our own Pablo is involved in Castellón and Inniesta has twice pumped money into Albacete in Spain. But not just players, lot of agents, commercial guys etc all made a good living from the existing structure.

M b -still clearing the decks then I do wonder what position this puts Orta in as they are all his signings .
Hopefully A R will realise that this guy is a much use as a chocolate fire guard and send him on his way as well.

dogwise

1.) 31 Jul 2018 16:37:07
Probably won't as he will be behind the return of the dreadful Pennington. Credit where credit is due, I am not sure that Bielsa would have known much about Douglas and he was a steal at £3m.

Hi guys went to see game at southend and we have a gk who can catch a ball .
A couple of stand out, but in general it was hard at times to see who was the champ side.
There goal set piece corner .
We could be in trouble, esp against stoke .

dogwise

1.) 24 Jul 2018 09:38:27
We'll be in trouble against Stoke. And the other 22 teams.

2.) 24 Jul 2018 10:26:48
Speedyg 21 unless we have to play ourselves.

3.) 24 Jul 2018 11:45:59
Actually guys weplay 23 other teams.

4.) 24 Jul 2018 11:57:29
Thought there was 46 games. I’m confused!
Anyway. We will be slaughtered in the first one. I saw stoke v Liverpool couple months back and I’m telling u. We will be in big trouble without 3-4 more quality signings.

5.) 24 Jul 2018 13:21:11
Stoke couldn't score last season, can see them carrying on in the same vein :)

6.) 24 Jul 2018 16:49:48
Stafford Against Premiership defences.

7.) 24 Jul 2018 17:35:34
Their strikers are pushing it to be decent Championship strikers, and their defence is getting on a bit. I expect us to get plenty of free kicks, pity our set piece coach has gone unless Bub knows a trick or two ;)

For all his faults M C not only attended games, but also seemed knowable regarding the game and players . I do wonder how many of are current squad would remain at the club if he was still are owner?

Continuing PA 'S thread isn't it funny how Norwich seem to have imploded, at one stage thay would have been a good bet for promotion or play-offs .

Bamford has played really well in all other areas, it's just not happening in front of goal, I do think if we put him with Eddie it could provide goals .
Not convinced about Costa and if the price tag is anything like I have seen quoted then I'm afraid we are overpaying .

well at least one thing is sure, these people do have money and they are reported to want to enter the English market .
I know we are all Leeds fans but stand back and look, other clubs with a fan base like ours are already owned or backed by money.
Newcastle would be a great buy but would cost a lot more .

yeah I was sort of thinking that myself, we seem better when Ali is at left back .
For me PH did not look right and Harrison was constantly losing out and Forshaw.
Think KP would have been better as def/ mid .
But all said they played very well and stopped are game,

Xhaka was lucky not to be yellow carded in the first half, can't see how he didn't .
Very disappointed about the falling over to get free kicks at one stage it was so blatant.

dogwise

{Ed001's Note - Xhaka was lucky not to be carded on about 15 occasions! Then to follow that up with a dive to get one of yours booked was just sickening to watch. But what do you expect when the referee is a Mancunian? Should never have been given the game, he is abysmal anyway, but a Mancunian should never referee a game involving Leeds, or a Manchester or Merseyside club. Even if they were any good, which Taylor isn't, the pressure on them would almost certainly cause errors. When you add that on top of them being a useless tit, you get an utterly inept performance like last night.}

Yet again I believe apart from White and Eddie are loans have been poor Harrison I believe is on loan to buy .
With Pablo out we could do with another option, a defender and maybe a g/ keeper .
