With the play-offs, it seems to be a matter of which you would least mind being promoted. For me, I guess I'd be least displeased by Swans beating Brentford in the semis, but loosing to Fulham in the final.

Brentford for me. Play great football and a club from my neck of the woods. Like a mini QPR if thatā€™s possible!

Swansea.

Wouldn't want the Swans after they shafted us on Dan James, and were among the most vocal on 'spygate'. As wigan says, we don't need the Bees diving. (and generally cheating and whingeing) in the Prem - and as for Baadiff.

26 Jul 2020 10:44:44
Swansea for me. definitely not another London club or Baadiff!

Teh Aus as a least worst, Swansea. But I am torn with Brentford. They deserve to go up, they played the best football, they're in the prime position so should go up BUT if they do we we won't get Benrahahahahahma.

Yeah but brentford bottled it the first time pressure was on.
Swans just kept plugging away.

Brentford deserve it begrudgingly . but have a feeling one of the Welsh teams will get promoted.

With Ben White likely to go and Bournemouth likely to go down, would Lewis Cook be a prudent purchase and what kind of reception would he get? MoT.

Different positions aren't they Fred?

Would Cook fit into a Bielsa team is the poignant question.

love lewis cook great player and would welcome back however d we need cm's? I'd rather save the money and stick with Shacks.

Players returning to. a club for a second spell rarely work well (David Batty the only exception that comes to mind for Leeds United) . so Lewis Cook NO THANKS.

excuse me BV how about sir john lukic.

I am not aginst players coming back, love charlie taylor back or course milner won't happen but that would be amazing. I would take cook back if we didn't have cover in that area. I think shacks will be a regular next year and show his class and get on fringes of england team (ahead of cook who has been held back by injuries)

25 Jul 2020 18:57:11

During 1953/ 54 season when we finished 10th in Div 2 ( todayā€™s Championship ) we scored a total of 89 goals of those John Charles scored 42 of them in 39 appearances playing some games at centre half.

Nah not lewis cook for me . Once a player leaves then thatā€™s it . There is always other better players available . Iā€™d rather have Shackleton to be honest . We got Bogusz as well .

He sure was Berm, went to Juventus in 1957 when they were just clear of relegation in Serie A . Fired them to the top with 28 goals that season and at a time when most of Italian football was defensive and 1- 0 score lines were the norm.
