Did anyone think the fans were quiet yesterday? I was watching on TV in a pub and all I could hear was Southampton fans, not sure if the mic was in the Saints half, or we were not singing. If anyone attended, be nice to get your thoughts.

There were periods of quiet from the Leeds end when it was tense and nervous, but in the main, we far out sang the Southampton supporters, and for long periods they were silent and all sat down, whereas nobody from the Leeds end sat down for the entire match, so think it must be how it was done from Sky.
Also, Sky know that we have a few fruity songs (and a not so flattering one about Rishi Sunak) , and Saints only have 2 songs (literally only 2!, ‘Oh when the Saints’ and ‘Come on you Reds) , so dull, so i think it was probably planned from those turnips at Sky.

It definitely wasn't quiet where we were standing in Block D
Southampton were noisy when they scored and obviously towards last 10 minutes.

I thought it was rather flat at times and could and should have been much better. I tried my best to get the crowd near me going but I'm not all that loud so had limited success. Disappointing really we could have done more.

Speaking of Sly Spurts, as if they couldn’t get any worse, they added that plum Troy “thick as pig muck” Deeney to their lineup! Awful coverage yet again from Sly!
At my side of the world, our fans were dominant vocally by a long way, until the goal, then the balance shifted dramatically, as you’d expect.

Good post Brighty and not only did we have Andy I hate Leeds Hinchcliffe, we also had Don Can’t stand Leeds Goodman! listening to them two for 100 minutes was painful. Every tackle we made was lambasted and every booking they got was unlucky! absolute pair of balloons and how can you have biased commentary it’s so unfair and unnecessary, how about Hichcliffe and Grayson or Goodman and Brynn Law? It was also noted that a lot of Leeds chants were muted out, Sky tv is f#€king rubbish and the Jimmy Saville shagged your mum ones were cut out along with others. It just seems that we were ghosts and unfortunately we played like that as well!

We shouldn’t be surprised by the anti Leeds punditry especially the ones that make it very clear they hate Leeds, it’s always been like that.
There’s not many non ex Leeds players/ pundits who say anything remotely positive about our club,
I think I can count them on two fingers.
Our fans most likely gave them a hard time at Elland rd during their playing days.
I prefer it that way anyways.

Those doylems, plus shifting fixtures all the time to ridiculous dates and kick offs! They are one of the worst things to happen to football in GB!

Sky visuals. whilst listening to commentary from other sources if required.
