Amazed to see Palace having the most players in the England squad than any other club.
Astute signings from the championship are there to be had. Eze and Wharton proving so.
Many on here were mad for Leeds to sign Eze from apr a few years back. Show's we're not all a bunch of mugs! Fair play to the eagles.

It's more than a tad annoying that ( smaller clubs ) Palace, Brighton, Fulham, Brentford etc and even fricking Bournemouth now are better run and more successful in league position and recruitment than LUFC

Does it really matter George who said what and when? It was a good post making a good point about championship and lower league players we should be looking for to sign.
Posts like Corky’s are meant to get opinions flowing about those type of players, as Dillinger does when he reports on potential signings. Come on George get with it mate, look forward not back! ??.

Palace kinda snuck under the radar with their signings didn’t they, and in an odd way, I hope they hang on to them and put a stop to the big clubs poaching the top talent. Wharton and his brother were in the same team as my mates son over in Whalley back in the day, and they always said to watch out for him. He’s done awesomely already, but there is much more to come from him!

I think a lot of fans wanted Eze before his latest move but the club never had the money or willingness to sign him. Same with the likes of Watkins who Orta decided wasn't worth the gamble (spending the cash on Rodrigo instead) and that Wet Sham winger Bowen but again whoever was in charge at the time wasn't interested.
