With Ayling out for two months, can we call Coyle back from Fleetwood, surely a better option than Dallas?

LUFCfev

1.) 30 Oct 2018 12:19:25
Depends if he had a recall clause or is a full season long loan, remember man city tried to recall joe Hart from a loan at Brum years ago but he was on a season long loan and Brum refused to allow him back until the loan was up.

2.) 30 Oct 2018 18:04:14
Isn't he on a till January loan?

3.) 30 Oct 2018 20:40:41
Yes he’s on a loan until Jan, but that’s when Ayling is hoping to be ready again!

4.) 30 Oct 2018 22:13:55
We should recall him anyway, just to spite Joey.

5.) 31 Oct 2018 09:00:29
Oh no Ayling out for two months and no decent replacement just when you think it can’t get any worse, it has to be Leeds United.

6.) 31 Oct 2018 11:58:54
Not so bad. We have 11 players who can play that role, as bielsa Saud there are 11 attackers 11 midfielders and 11 defenders it's called a team effort so stop drama queening.

7.) 03 Nov 2018 21:01:39
We will see Martyn but feel he’s a big loss.

8.) 03 Nov 2018 21:04:45
LFFC, no need to Martyn said we have 11 who can play in that role, and stop drama queening!

9.) 03 Nov 2018 21:18:01
Martyn, don’t make a drama out of a statement mate, I happen to think he will be a big loss, simple, can’t even say what you think on here without someone getting there nickers in a twist.

Apparently the new Manager has already made his mark, he doesn't want Mbakogu. I like him already!

LUFCfev

1.) 24 Jun 2018 21:06:41
You're right fev. I think Bielsa will be getting what he wants this summer, not what somebody gives him!

2.) 25 Jun 2018 11:27:06
vydra! bielsa not mucking about

11 Jun 2018 14:29:35
According to the YEP the first announcement looks like Mbakogu. Has Radz fell for it with Capri's deadline?

LUFCfev

1.) 11 Jun 2018 16:28:32
I don't think so, all the noises about Jerry have come from Italy

2.) 12 Jun 2018 07:13:50
I hope you are right Al, we have had our share of gambling on unkowns, and I hope today might be the day when the ball starts rolling at ER with some positive news.

3.) 12 Jun 2018 12:10:02
Phil Hay reckons it's a no go . hopefully he might have got something right :)

4.) 12 Jun 2018 15:33:24
Better to get Jerry from Tom and Jerry. at least he can run fast and isn't afraid of a scrap. clever too.

07 Jun 2018 07:26:37
Good morning Gents, Again lots of news about us making announcements today. As a previous poster said it's possibly only paper talk, but what a day with England at ER tonight to get the recruitment ball rolling. Come on Radz, make our day!

LUFCfev

1.) 07 Jun 2018 11:49:41
Big announcements today would be perfect timing fev! Let's hope!

2.) 07 Jun 2018 13:01:46
£100,000 from tonight. Not counting advertising / takings. I'd imagine the same if not more from the Warrington fight. Especially since Nicola Adams was also on the bill. Plus a couple of Rugby games throughout the season. Hopefully we're £500,000 up before counting the football/american football coffers. I wouldn't want ot cripple the wage structure too much but Hernandez is a good option as is Bielsa if the price is fairish. No?

3.) 07 Jun 2018 15:58:41
One announcement . TP's signed for 4 years . I knew he would, Sam, Charlie you know you were greedy little boys :)

4.) 07 Jun 2018 19:43:34
Absolutely AL! And what now for Sam after the Jammers have signed Fredericks from Fulham! ? Daft move IMO, PL or not, pay rise or not.

5.) 07 Jun 2018 21:18:10
Further down the pecking order at the hammers. What next for sams career ? Another one who people will say. Could have, would have, should have . stayed put. Bad advise. Or just pure greedy. Not always greener . MOT. ⚽️⚽️⚽️😊

6.) 07 Jun 2018 22:06:21
Sam's still young enough for the 'ammers U23 isn't he:)

13 May 2018 11:42:35
According to reports Mbakogu is joining for £3m, I might be wrong, but it seems yet another gamble on a player who is no prolific goal scorer and is injury prone. This transfer policy the Club keep pursing makes no sense at all to me.

LUFCfev

1.) 13 May 2018 12:16:40
Totally agree Lufcfev, seems we learnt nothing from the last season and keep on trying the same route . Doesn't give me much faith or hope for a better season just more of the same, hope I am wrong though!

2.) 13 May 2018 13:03:01
Does Orta/Radz learn nothing? With the amount of players out there. out of contract, high scoring, uninjured, relatively cheap and we go for Mbakogu? Why?

3.) 13 May 2018 14:14:51
Sadly Leodis, they continue with the same policy. Really can't believe how Orta continually gets these type of players past Radz.

4.) 13 May 2018 21:48:27
It makes Radz look a total baffoon that he cannot see that Orta is destroying the Club.

5.) 13 May 2018 20:34:49
Erm, are we destroying people on the basis of rumours now?

6.) 14 May 2018 17:59:03
I know how to pronounce Jerry but how do you pronounce his surname. When he fails it will be Hecky s fault.

Any new quality jokes CORK to keep us entertained during the International Break?

LUFCfev

1.) 15 Nov 2018 09:05:37
My favourite joke my son told me 18yrs ago when he was 10.

A man walks into a zoo and the only animal in the place was a dog.

It was a shitzu

Ba boom tish.

2.) 15 Nov 2018 11:21:07
Teacher: Why did you laugh?
Boy: I saw a strap of your bra.
Teacher: GET OUT! No class for you for a week.
Another boy laughs.
Teacher: Why did you laugh?
Boy: I saw both straps.
Teacher: GET OUT! No class for you for a month.
She bends down to pick up a chalk and little Johnny starts walking out.
Teacher: Johnny why are you going out?
Johnny: With what i just saw i think my school days are over!

3.) 15 Nov 2018 11:25:23
I came out of the chip shop with a meat and potato pie, large chips, mushy peas and a jumbo sausage. A poor homeless man sitting there said "Ive not eaten for two days. " I told him, "I wish i had your will power"!

4.) 15 Nov 2018 11:25:56
My son told me one at about the same time.
What does a mathematician do when constipated?
Works it out with a pencil.

5.) 15 Nov 2018 11:34:59
I had the pub quiz in the bag the other night until the very last question. which i got wrong. The question was, "Where do woman have the curliest hair? "Apparently the correct answer was Fiji.

6.) 15 Nov 2018 11:53:38
With Harry Redknapp in the jungle, I'm a Celeb will be relegated to ITV2 by Christmas.

7.) 15 Nov 2018 11:58:14
I bumped into a cross eyed woman today and she shouted "You need to look where you're going! ". I said "Feck off, you need to go where you're looking! "

8.) 15 Nov 2018 12:15:16
Excellent stuff lads! Thank you, day brightened up no end!

9.) 15 Nov 2018 12:22:30
An old bloke hires a hitman to kill his wife of 40 years.
The hitman says "It'll be a quick kill, I'll shoot her just below the left tit".
The husband says "I want her dead, not fecking kneekapped! "

10.) 15 Nov 2018 12:46:39
I went to the doctors today and he said I was paranoid.

. Well he didn't actually say it, but I knew what the pratt was thinking.

11.) 15 Nov 2018 19:14:20
The one that's been deleted CORK was shall we say "A Corker"!

12.) 15 Nov 2018 19:58:53
Cheers mate I thought it was quite funny as well. A strict catholic Ed perhaps?!

10 Nov 2018 19:36:06
A few chickens come home to roost Wuthering that performance. Goalkeeper not great, bizzare for me taking Douglas off when Dallas was having a mare. I know people disagree but the powers that be must realise a couple of quality additions at least are required in January. We are still in a good position so let's not blow it like we have done in the pasr.

LUFCfev

1.) 10 Nov 2018 22:10:28
Pardon some miss hit keys, in my comments, I am home now, but these are players apart from Douglas who were here last year. The Manager is doing a great job with what was a pile of dross we had last season. But we have to have a couple of new faces at least to compliment the return of the injured players in January to push on. Radz, Orta and Kinnear take note.

27 Oct 2018 18:30:49
Well that wasn't good enough first half, Dallas for me was awful as usual, I hope he proves me wrong in the second half. The goal for them again so soft from a corner. Maybe need Saiz on to give another creative option other than Hernandez. A massive 45 mins coming up.

LUFCfev

1.) 27 Oct 2018 19:34:18
Dallas did play better second half and played a part in the goal but like you I thought get him subbed.

2.) 27 Oct 2018 19:37:59
Feel for forest with that goal, but will take it as a Leeds fan. Lots of huff and puff for us but created very little until the end. Said it earlier this would be a type of match like the Brentford match. Why can't we defend corners, no player from Leeds covering the post (schoolboy error) and once again poor quality of match officials. Yes we took a point but again had to do it by coming from behind. We need wins, too many draws.

3.) 27 Oct 2018 20:24:55
I don’t feel for forest at all. We battered them. They time wasted too much, and that was going to be a goal no matter where it hit Roofe. It’s the most one sided draw I’ve ever seen.

4.) 27 Oct 2018 20:54:54
Battered them? Oh yes we had a lot of possession. Only in the last 15-20 mins did we pay a glove on them.

5.) 27 Oct 2018 20:55:20
We keep getting very one sided draws. We looked really good overall, but wasting chances and letting in very soft set pieces. Enjoyable though. Fair play to Roofe for his honesty, manager interview - as ever superb. MOT.

6.) 27 Oct 2018 21:14:47
Yes. We battered them. They had one sniff and we defended it appallingly. They have a couple of good players, but we were by far the better team.

7.) 27 Oct 2018 21:15:15
If only, posession won games; but it doesn't.

8.) 27 Oct 2018 22:31:44
Well said, leodis.

9.) 28 Oct 2018 09:22:14
True Leo! Like Spanish said in a different post, we really need to find that killer instinct, and convert that possession into goals and points!

02 Oct 2018 21:43:19
A scruffy win, but they all count. Fine goal by Roberts. MOT.

LUFCfev

1.) 02 Oct 2018 21:50:49
Wonderful to see the clean sheet.

2.) 03 Oct 2018 09:15:07
Looking forward to the Brentford game, managed to get tickets, should be a full house.

02 Oct 2018 20:26:38
Chances being missed again, becoming a worrying trend. I hope we can start to put some of them away. Alioski and Harrison disappointing up to now.

LUFCfev

1.) 02 Oct 2018 20:38:10
Add Roberts to that.

As was said many times on here, Heckingbottom shouldn't have been appointed in the first place. There were some hard lessons for Radz and Co last season so it is good that some of them were taken on board, appointing a quality Manager for one. I am delighted with the start this season and it will hopefully continue, come January I hope that the purse strings will be slackened to allow the Manager to make a couple of good signings for the run in. Two more good loan deals in this window wouldn't go a miss either as long as they improve the squad as a bit of strength in depth is a big plus with the style of our play. On to Swansea who didn't look anything special to me against Birmingham. MOT.

Supposed to have had it yesterday, but as usual it seems to take ages before the deal is announced. Let's hope it is the first one of an exciting week for us. Douglas and Hydra in with a couple more and I will feel optimistic for the season.

The 1 - 1 draw at Barcelona in the 75 Semi-final second leg when down to 10 men was a brilliant performance. Plus the 4 - 3 against Derby after being 3 down wasn't bad either! Plus many many others.
