I’m afraid I couldn’t watch the game today, so relying on all your opinions to get a jist of what the game was like. But I heard Jon newsome saying it was a stonewall penalty for us. If someone can just mark my card, why was Rutter deployed as the main striker in today’s game? although piroe hasn’t been great recently, he did score in the previous match against Southampton, and Rutter has been playing the deeper role a good part of the season. How was the midfield today? I hope kamara and Gruev were driving forward and trying some long range shots? And Summerville was playing with a smile on his face and rallying and encouraging his teammates?

I've always thought he would play best as an inverted winger/ inside forward, playing inside the lines from the right. Would work well with full back who likes to get up the pitch.

Not sure about starting 11, would've liked to have seen joseph and roberts start. We have the firepower to hurt them on counter but rutter up top a concern.

Spot on mate! DF is playing for a draw with 3 defensive midfielders starting. Like I said before, Joseph should have asked to leave Leeds. Crying shame, he has not started a match after the FA Cup. It will backfire thinking we will turn it on at home. History shows we can't handle the pressure well at home in front of our crowd in Huge games.

7 days rest. Some team bonding midweek. All I ask is that the lads are UP FOR IT today! Win or draw, preferably a clean sheet, to set us up for the home leg.

Few tweaks I would hope for but not expected:

Roberts in at RB (can move Gray or Byram there later if Roberts can't last the 90, as if fit I think Roberts is our best RB)

Cooper in at LCB, meaning.

Ampadu in at 6 instead of Gruev, who's looked absent and easy to bypass recently.

Start Joseph. Not a fan of Piroe, not a fan of how he plays, not a fan of his unathleticism. I want someone dynamic and eager up front.


Everything else remains the same and hopefully the extra rest and team bonding has helped the squad.
