Morning All,

I haven't posted for a while but what a day to be a Leeds fan, and what an absolutely brilliant performance! Was it just me or did others also get a bit emotional after that.

Super happy to be going to Wembley but even more happy with the improvement and change in performance. We were clearly suffering with fatigue after the international break and the hectic schedule didn't help. I'm just so glad that we were able to show ourselves at our best again. When Leeds play like that, Southampton/ West Brom better be worried.

Big shout outs to Meslier, who gets a lot of stick but was faultless last night. Also impressed with Rutter and Piroe who massively upped their games. Also worth mentioning Firpo who is prone to mistakes and gets a lot of stick for it, but last night was excellent. And then their young Archie Gray who just keeps on impressing. The whole team were epic!

So moving onto the final, I quite fancy Brom to upset Southampton at home tonight. Either way, if we can repeat that performance we stand a massive chance of winning.

Just the tonic we needed before the Final, confidence will be at a maximum. We didn’t just make it or win by peno’s, we completely outplayed and dismantled Norwich.
The job is not done yet but if we play the same way in the final then promotion is ours.

Well done Farke for his selection and sticking to his guns, also I imagine for getting his players into the right mentality and head space to come out and play football like they know they can.

We know we are the best team in the Championship and that crown should have belong to us, we’ll take the other glory route, it doesn’t bother us
In the words of Kevin Keagan, I’d love it, absolutely love when we go to their place and smash em’, that being Leicester when we hopefully meet them in the Premiership.

Haha one thing that was uber predictable was OP, Leeroy ( and where's Dougie and Woody) reminding one of my logical prediction if 1 nil being not uber accurate and three more goals surprisingly scored by Leeds 😄 🤣

It was a night which no one foresaw even miracles happened such as


1) Mes actually making a save lol,
2) Leeds scoring from a fricking set piece 👏 wow 👌
3) Piroe playing like Vas Basten
4) Farke getting all his decisions right


No one, not even you OP, Cuppa and the like predicted and foresaw these miracles 🤣

Just to clarify - I don't think I ever stated that I wanted to stay in the championship. My reticence about promotion is the thought of a miserable season getting pounded week in week out if 49ers don't strengthen adequately.

Anyway what a night eh! That's as stress free as it gets supporting LUFC. FAN BLOODY TASTIC.

We get promoted, we'll lose more than last season.

We don't get promoted and we lose players and still end up losing more games in a lower league due to losing quality.

Just can't stop singing with the Leeds fans after the game. I predict a riot. Got it on the works 95inch tv. Full blast.
Just soooo happy. What a day. What a bashing.
Credit to mez. Apart from great save, that was his best game. Granted he didn't have a lot to do but every time he did, he did it right. Whether coming for the ball, catching it or long or short pass, every decision was right. Well done all the lads. Played really well. Good momentum to take to Wembley. So many good points today but for me, gnontos cross to piroe was icing on the cake. Good tactics and subs 😮 by Farke too.

Has Willy only got 45 min in him?
Why did Farke spend 40 min in press conference 6 months ago explaining why Rutter and piroe were playing in the position of his choice?
How bad were Norwich? I was under the impression they knew they couldn't beat us from the get go.

Soooo. didn't see the game tonight as I took my 93 year old Grandma to see Andre Rieu.

Just kept checking the score every 10 / 15 mins.

Didn't even wear Leeds shirts, polo's, socks or pants.

Is it me or does he look better at right back? Apart from the Chelsea game, felt like he has gone missing or not being involved much when in midfield. He just looks so confident on the ball, and apart from one mistake, his positioning was amazing. Really hope we manage to keep him.

Mighty, even though we were playing some square pegs in round holes last night, I believe that is our best formation with Amps and Gray playing in defence. Even Byram seems more effective on the wrong wing.

To be honest, I hope he touches nothing for the Wembley game.

I said a few posts ago that Jimmy would raise his game tonight, on the cusp of the Wembley showroom and he hasn't disappointed, and before you have a pop I am glad. He can do this all he likes as long as we go up, unless 1970 wants to stay in the championship forever🤔.

I think he also made a point in his celebrations for the goal. Fair play to him. He was back to his very best last night, and any thoughts of a rift between him and JP was purely media fabrication to mix things up.
