Been at the match today at guiseley.

Someone we were stood with was taking to MC when he arrived.

MC says we are just about to sign Heskey

Straight from the horses mouth apparently

Believable13 Unbelievable111

If this is true I shall not be going to a leeds match until he leaves I cannot stand the useless waste of space! i'll support leeds but will not EVER support heskey!

What do people have against Heskey? However good, bad or indifferent he is that's no reason for not going to the games. At a different level although I wouldn't want to see him in a Leeds shirt I've seen a lot worse. If we were to apply that idea to other players with limited skill (not forgetting that Heskey was good enough to play for England) I would not go to the games if say White was playing or Hunt or Morrison or Wooton and I would also have missed the games when Kebe and Stewart were playing. Clearly that would be stupid. We follow the team that the manager(or owner) puts out and comment on it afterwards. We shouldn't stay away.

Agree3 Disagree3

I will not support heskey plain and simple! and if he does sin and when he plays garbage which we all know he will there's a strong chance of me getting thrown out for the abuse i'm likely to shout! I feel this strongly about heskey, I simply don't like him as a player. if he used 1 tenth of the potential he has/had I wouldn't particularly mind. let's face it he goes down quicker than a lady of the night offered a £50 note.

Agree4 Disagree1

{Ed013's Note - No matter what you think of a player, no one should have to suffer the abuse that you are implying}

Tommo, we don't want you to go to the games if all you're going to do is attack our players. We need fans who are going to get behind the lads, give them that little bit more confidence & help make ER a place where opponents fear to visit once again.

Agree6 Disagree0

I don't attack our players and I never have which is why I said i'll stay away. ok perhaps what I am saying about him is harsh and maybe unjust, but I feel strongly that taking heskey is a major MAJOR step backwards. I don't like him as a player plain and simple, as I've stated I will support leeds as I love the club but I cannot and will not support heskey ever!

Agree1 Disagree1

This must be a wind up, if it's true then we must hope he is only paid if he manages to score. So he leave with empty pocket's.

Agree2 Disagree0

Hesky was awful in the Australian A League and hardly ever scored. I believe the Championship is tougher than the A League so Hesky would be like a fish in a tap dancing competition. That's a big No thanks from me.

Nah - it's not true! Can't be - can it?

Agree2 Disagree0

I remember a certain Jason Roberts signed by reading fc, in 2012. That season his experience and goals were crucial to them winning promotion to the premier league. Now whose to say Emile heskey couldn't do the same for us?.

Agree0 Disagree4

How old he he now then? Must be knocking on a bit

Agree2 Disagree1

Jason Roberts was a similar age when he left Blackburn for reading fc. Heskey could be a massimo master stroke. Look at didier drogbra, juventus I believe have just signed him. Now tell me how old is he then?.

If we sign Heskey that's it. no mas no mas no mas as the great boxer Robert Duran once said.

Agree1 Disagree0

Heskey never has & never will score goals consistently. He spends the majority of the game laid on the floor lookin for free kicks. Waste of time.

Agree3 Disagree0

Quite a bit of difference between Heskey and Drogba

Agree3 Disagree0

Tommo
You say you don't attack our players?'
Read your first post mate, I'm not Einstein but it's plain n simple what your implying ;;

Agree2 Disagree0

Andy is he a leeds player yet, ermm lemme think about that. no he isnt! when I go to games I never abuse or attack our players, I may moan n whinge but never attack! i'm sorry to say I could not do the same for heskey, its plain and simply because I don't like him! I do not rate him and never have and never will. i'll repeat myself again, I WILL carry on supporting leeds I will never stop doing that, but I will not and can not support heskey if he joins us. also andy I think you will find my "attack" of him comes in my 2nd post on this thread

Agree1 Disagree1

Why not heskey?tell you why not, did he not get radebe sent off more than once in his leciester days, he's garbage and a step further backwards than nile ranger

Agree1 Disagree1

{Ed013's Note - I cannot add some of your comments}

Sorry ed new to posting, but you know it was true.

Agree0 Disagree1

Tommo
I don't like Heskey never have done he's not a natural goal scorer, he's been lucky to get the career he's had.
Truer Leeds fans will watch & support our team whoever plays, 1 player won't stop me going as the other 27 need our support.

I'm not arguing with you but I think you missed the operative word from my previous post IMPLYING!

Let's be honest here, mc isn't going to suffer any fools gladly for long. Everybody will have to perform, management or players or face his wrath, Stewart was quickly bundled out. Mistakes will be made, but he has my vote and seems to have leeds' interest at heart.

MOT

Agree2 Disagree0

If, big if, Heskey comes don't think it will be to play regular first team football more to help young strikers, he has played at top level wether we like him or not

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jul 2014 10:58:12
It is a lie, made up by someone. He admitted he did it for a laugh and it spread like wildfire. Heskey is a spud, he would struggle at league 2 level

Agree0 Disagree0

Andy fair enough fella i'm not wanting to argue either, my point was/is i'm not going to put yself in a position of possible ejection from elland road. its fool hardy, I will be like an alcoholic on a free beer taster at a brewery, i'm not risking it. I will still go down to elland road, wait for team news IF he is playing I will simply go across to peacock, if he comes on as sub I will simply leave ground. I know myself and I think this is the best solution!

Agree0 Disagree0

This is the kind of story bad parents use to scare children. Now best behaviour one of you!

Hearing rumours that leeds are interested in taking Bruno Zuculini on loan from man city for whom he has just signed. Central midfielder with a good eye for a pass n loves to tackle.

rumour about Leo Vangioni left winger or wing back
from river plate

Believable24 Unbelievable41

This rumour is starting to pick up pace. Southampton tried to sign him and he said no. Could be Mr Salerno at work again.

Agree2 Disagree0

He looks a decent player but I've heard rumours southampton are interested in him! also heard that vangioni is pretty much only interested in playing in spain. not saying it won't happen just think its highly unlikely!

Have heard rumours that leeds are interested in a young argentinian though, has layed for the U20 international side and he also has an italian passport that will help him get around work permit, no idea on a name though! will post rumour as and when I find out a name.

Agree1 Disagree0

Seems that the player I mentioned in aboe post is the young lad who just joined man city, bruno zuculini apparently we are looking at a loan for the lad midfielder with a big reputation for a star of the future!

Agree2 Disagree0

This guy has played for Argentina and has an Italian passport!

Agree1 Disagree0

I'm putting two and two together but I think the player in the original post is prob the young Argentinian your on about

Agree1 Disagree1

19 Jul 2014 14:29:31
hope leeds sign him but we would have to fight southampton for him but he seems to want to stay put

http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2014/07/18/ad-south-coast-latest-saints-receive-vangioni-blow-pompey-launch/

Agree1 Disagree0

No its not leo vangioni that i'm hearing rumours about he is quite a bit older at 27 years old, zuculini is the name I have heard mentioned, along with his teammate at man city emyr huws!

Agree1 Disagree0

19 Jul 2014 17:10:30
who is this 27 yr old you speak of? bergessio? german denis?
(one is 29 and one is 32 but they will get you goals)

Agree0 Disagree1

Leo vangioni is 27, I said I have heard about a young argentinian, I don't think vangioni falls into that category

Agree1 Disagree0

Vangioni has just told a reporter that there is talk with other clubs but nothing concrete. He is happy at river plate and just concentrating on training for next season.

MC says he likes Hunt and Morrison they will be playing this year.
About to sign two more defenders one Scottish one English

Viviani is expected to sign but has not done yet

Nile Ranger will not be joining the club 'he is a bad boy'

thinks Thorpe Arch is like and amusement park

Believable28 Unbelievable8

Saw morrision at the den a few times last year. Really poor, heart wasn;t in it, unfit, no pace, no first touch, no intent however did rate him once and if fitter and hungrier this year (which he needs to prove something with MC he don't take no s**t) I think he could be a suprise package but needs to improve if a horse form book would say. recent form poor but once was of good peidgree, can perform but needs to improve, one to watch and I think MC will do just that then act. I am starting to love MC even if the club is a bit of a circus at the min. that said who doesn't love the circus?

Agree1 Disagree1

I read this too! Hope viviani ends up signing, my only worry is no talk of a goal scorer been linked

Agree3 Disagree0

19 Jul 2014 12:41:18
the big question is, will viviani be a perm signing or loan . let's pray its loan to perm
