Same rumour as always here guys that I have heard circulated around again, max gradel to return to the club! I don't think he would be possible on his wages plus the fact I'm not sure he would have the same impact with the current bunch of young lads playing in midfield now, what's everyone's thoughts?

The rumours I have seen are linking him with a return to England, but not to Leeds (or indeed anyone in the championship). He would be fantastic as he is an even better player to the one who left and his strike rate is top class at the minute (17 from his last 30 games or something) but his price tag is supposedly around £7m plus add-ons that's before you look at wages so no. just no.

2.) 14 Jun 2015 16:37:39
Would be phenomenal signing but will need paying 25k a week.

3.) 15 Jun 2015 07:37:28
I agree the wages would be out of the question for what I think MC would be putting forward in any contract. I'd just like to see us make one major signing to play with a free role up top with plenty of pace and fire in their belly

4.) 16 Jun 2015 07:32:03
Oh. Too hard to resist
Just been speaking to gradels hotel maids twin brothers half sister in laws cat. And she reckons his signing for Leeds
Just passing on some insider info
Don't shoot the messenger
The cat was right last time!

gradel Leicester/Bournemouth 3.5 m

{Ed001's Note - or West Ham?}

7.) 18 Jun 2015 10:49:48
Bournemouth have had a £4 mill offer turned down for gradel so he will be way out of price range for championship teams who don't have parachute payments

Next 8 games we will be lucky to take 6 points from if we continue to play the way we have of late. Yes second half showed real grit and some good goals but we still conceded 4 in the game and in all honesty could have been more. We just throw games away with our own mistakes, coopers poor touch led to him having to dive in for that challenge, I do agree it could have been yellow but why give the ref the chance to show red! Before that he looked very shaky and made a few hashes of clearances so I was thinking he was going to conceed an own goal or sent off. Tbf to lassoga he was good all game and put himself about more but as it's been said below it was only milwall but then again in his defence you can only play the team that's in front of you on the day. Think we need some more pace and clinical up front still. Forshaw to come in will be great as Phillips for me just does not cut it. Hopefully we go for it from the off against these teams in and around us in this next run of games and take it to them to come away with some points and stay in the mix. Here's to hoping ey.

It's ok having a go at Captain Cooper but Pontus wasn't too brilliant either, or is criticising him a no go area?

2.) 22 Jan 2018 15:37:17
I agree Al. Pontus was shocking Saturday. I thought he’d relish a physical battle, but he bottled it.

3.) 22 Jan 2018 16:17:45
At least he stayed on the pitch for 90 minutes. Cooper was having a mare which was compounded by the sending off

4.) 22 Jan 2018 16:57:18
Let’s let Pontus go no good for us, let the P L take him saves all argument job done

5.) 22 Jan 2018 17:20:21
Pontus has a bad games and everyone is on his back the manger has had 11 bad games and everyone sings his praises funny old game football.

6.) 22 Jan 2018 17:29:36
ED, every time I write something the page up dates and all is lost can you put out times that this page is going to up date So we can write between those times. Thanks

7.) 22 Jan 2018 17:45:57
Depends on which team turns up Davey. First half or second half.

8.) 22 Jan 2018 19:22:42
AL we could go through all players and talk about their game but cooper got sent off due to the poor touch and his shaky start to the game end of story!

I know we have Saiz as an AM but teams are becoming aware of him been are danger and are only real go forward so what about a bid for someone like Alex Pritchard from Norwich. Yes we have more pressing positional signings needed but just one to put in the mix amoungst

Danny Ings has now been linked with Stoke, Newcastle and West Brom so I doubt the thought of him coming to us for a play off battle will come to be more than a thought. Who else do we fancy to lead the line for rest of the year that we could realistically get either at a decent price or a loan that we know will get the goals needed to get us there come may

Grot has taken the number 11 shirt so we must be looking for a better replacement for wood that is ready made with goals in him to take the number 9 shirt

Daveyg3107

1.) 24 Aug 2017 19:00:37
Grot is still young so i would be surprised if he was to be a number 1 striker. More a replacement for the Douk as a back up striker.

Does anyone know the outcome of Pennington injury? How long we expecting him to be out for?

He will get us promoted! He is such a good manager yes he’s volatile but we need someone with some bottle and not just another yes man!

Don’t understand why we have done this, totally unsuccessful in a lower league but we spend millions on him!

He's a lot better than the midfield we currently have and I for one will welcome his signing with open arms, get Phillips back on the bench so he can come on and have his good 10/20 minutes rather than 60 minutes of hiding and poor decisions. Forshaw knows how to pick a pass and is what we need in the middle of the park

George I agree that BPF should be given some competition to keep him on his toes but someone like Gunn isn’t going to sign on a season loan to sit on the bench and encourage BPFs development is my point. He needs an experienced keeper that can pass knowledge tips and game management on aswell as provide a cast over his shoulder to keep his performances of a high standard

Guessing whoever gave the thumb down to my above comment doesn’t like BPF, can’t please everyone

I’m quite happy to keep BPF in goal, yes he needs some competition to stop him from becoming complacent like a lot of the team did this season but bringing in another young lad on loan won’t be to sit on the bench, with a solid defence in front of him BPF has shown he has the quality to be of a very high class. The rest you have mention I pretty much agree with although I know little about McGin
