It has been suggested that by putting in a transfer request he would lose the 5% of the fee which could amount to 2 Million. Surely the package offered by Leeds together with a five year deal would exceed what he would lose by putting in a transfer request. Come on Ben, slip a letter under the chairman's door. Brighton have shown in the past they don’t respond to transfer requests, so no point putting one in, would just make his life more difficult when they reject it.
Brighton have said they ain’t selling and I don’t blame them so we need to get someone else.

Brighton now saying, not for selling at any price, due to leeds being rivals, why the f*** not say that 3 weeks ago, there tubes proper tubes, 3 weeks wasted, not his fault but hope he doesn't sign a contract with them, bench warmer next season odd league cup game, waste of a talented player, brighton will never be a big club, relegation next season 🤞🤞🤞.

A poster ( can't remember who it may have been you Richie) on here over a week ago made the point that Brighton wanted to make Leeds weaker by wasting their time
They never ever had any intention of selling BW to Leeds because they perceive Leeds as rivals in EPL league position

Have to say Bielsa still not signing is more concerning than not nailing down key transfers although perhaps the two are linked. Seems now to be beyond the" were too busy preparing" or " the contract isn't important ". This is the bit that could have been nailed quicker. Also I'm sure some prospective signings would like to know that Bielsa was definitely going to be there for at least a year.
Any thoughts on why the real holdup? Demands about players to be signed? Surely not about money, he can mar his price to a point, anything else?

Really don’t think there’s anything to worry about concerning Bielsa signing. Nor do it think there’ll be any problems bringing in 2/ 3 quality players. BW looks very unlikely now and we might not get all our signings in before the 12th Sept. Surely it’s plain logic that transfers will be made for this season!
We just need to be a little patient is all.

If the rumour that Huddersfield are looking to take Struijk on loan for the season are true, then this is madness considering we aren't blessed with players that can play centre half. Typical Leeds thing to do though, need to keep the lad at Leeds in and around the first team squad.

It was rumoured Cavani would come to Leeds, but we all know that would never have happened! Don’t think this will after MB put his faith in him towards the end of last season and the lad didn’t let him down. I think he’s going nowhere, especially the Dog Botherers.

I said yesterday out of all these rumours we will probably sign someone who we have never heard of or heard the name linked before and I wake to find we are on verge of signing Sam greenwood from arsenal .
Although this Rodrigo signing from Valencia seems to be gathering some momentum.
I'm really getting frustrated about how long these signings are taking . I feel we are under prepared with Liverpool and city coming up in the first few weeks of the season and we barely have a senior centre back pairing.

Greenwood is OFTF though not a first team signing. Not sure what you are worried about we have Cooper and Berardi at the back and Padbamoyang up top. We will walk it.
Yes I know Berardi is injured but he is so hard I imagine he will play on anyway.
