Wow! Rarely have I witnessed such despondency on this site. Can’t believe everyone is giving up on the season already after a bit of a bad run. Yes things need to get better but goodness me weee only half way through and haven’t even played our new chap yet. We still might make another signing and we could yet click with the players we have and go on a run. It’s not the end of the world just yet and I for one have not given up on the lads or TC just yet. I’m fighting until the end.

Alfupper, T C said himself that the season over and he’s the bloody manager, that’s despondency for mate can’t get much worse then that,

23 Jan 2018 04:33:39
Think the two signings we got in first team will be good and balance the team out better. But we still need a striker. And for tc to go. It is possible with new signings, saiz back and a striker we could still make playoffs. The players in general are good enough. But as others say. We have blown it this year. Its an easy champ to get auto promotion out of it but tc was not up to it! We will lose saiz, pontus and poss viera come the summer and then its another 3 quality signings. For the most part. We have not been capable of a few quality signings. We prefer buying 10-15 cheap ones and hoping 2-3 come good. The season isn't over but there is so much wrong with leeds at the moment. As somebody said below. The balls in your court radz. You wanna go for it this year? You know what yiou got to do!

Agree2 Disagree4

23 Jan 2018 07:47:35
Tc has made too many mistakes now Aus, doesn't seem to be able to motivate the players on a regular basis, makes poor subs regularly, baffles me with his after game interviews of positivity when I'm done games we have clearly been awful, I do think radz will stick with him till the end of the season though. would be time for a change for me personally, who would we realistically get though, bare in mind you are the 'head coach' not s manager, you have no real say on transfers as that's Ortas bag, not really going to attract a top manager unless that changes

Personally I blame the recruitment - we haven't signed enough of the type of players that we need in this league and we have signed too many duds who have not come good. I think a lot of managers would struggle with the resources available as we just don't have a big, strong spice to the team which is essential in this league.

Ideguchi booked, not quite up to the standard of some around here but give the lad time. Seriously, first it was Bouoy now Ideguchi. Hopefully we will keep an eye on the game time our little Japanese gem gets. If not a regular starter what's the point.

I have made my decision. That's it no more spending this winter! let's stop buying, can't quite make its and outright flops, put the chequebook in the back pocket and go again next year. Yes I know it may sound defeatist, mid January, but I think we have a squad who, at worst are mid table and with a bit of luck can be challenging. So what's the point in shopping in a sellers market. Let's bed in what we've got and work the scouts 24/7 ready for the summer. There are quite a few goalkeepers and strikers coming to the end of their contracts, let's get working on it now.

Believable7 Unbelievable0

Another season gone? ! Remember, buying lots of seriously untested youngsters in the most difficult league in the world is like offering a new band a 3 album deal. its all about what you HOPE they will do BUT a record company /club still needs the established product. Still aimimg to buy lots of low-priced players the exact same tactics that will see a mid table finish. Hasn't this happened with all the manes that have not produced and are inconsistent this season. why do you think it will change over the summer? Blind belief is exactly that. BLIND!

22 Jan 2018 15:23:58
Well Klich didn’t last long, he’s gone out on loan, I’m surprised anyone was that desperate! It looks like a couple of Prem teams are sniffing around Pontus and a couple of non league teams are sniffing around Cooper! Hopefully we say no to Pontus going! 😂😂

Agree0 Disagree4

22 Jan 2018 20:13:52
At this rate pal the under 12’s will be the future! If you know what I mean! Anyway who knows anymore, at least TC has come out and told it like it is, he can’t hide anymore and he can’t justify the red cards, he got it wrong tactics wise when we went 3-2 up, fair enough Roofe wanted to come off but he should of kept the attacking threat on because after that Millwall had no threat to their back line! This is a really tough league and I hope he proves me wrong but I think he is out of his depth, he doesn’t seem to learn from his mistakes! What do you think mate? MOT

22 Jan 2018 21:07:57
A lot of players we’ve had have left because of our lack of direction and false promises! So in answer to you’re question mate, no I wouldn’t! But saying that many have left and found that the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence or electric gates as McBadgekisser found! I hope he stays and Radz has said no more selling as we are building and if I was TC I would make him Captain, that would give him fresh impetus, Cooper should bench sitting. MOT

Next 8 games we will be lucky to take 6 points from if we continue to play the way we have of late. Yes second half showed real grit and some good goals but we still conceded 4 in the game and in all honesty could have been more. We just throw games away with our own mistakes, coopers poor touch led to him having to dive in for that challenge, I do agree it could have been yellow but why give the ref the chance to show red! Before that he looked very shaky and made a few hashes of clearances so I was thinking he was going to conceed an own goal or sent off. Tbf to lassoga he was good all game and put himself about more but as it's been said below it was only milwall but then again in his defence you can only play the team that's in front of you on the day. Think we need some more pace and clinical up front still. Forshaw to come in will be great as Phillips for me just does not cut it. Hopefully we go for it from the off against these teams in and around us in this next run of games and take it to them to come away with some points and stay in the mix. Here's to hoping ey.

Tc is a nice bloke but out of his depth in the champ and will be the reason we don't get in top 6. Along with wield. He has no balls. No idea even now, what his best starting 11 is and his substitutions are ridiculous. So if he can't hack it in champ he will be eaten alive in prem. So why keep him. Sack him now. If we are building for the future. let's start by sacking tc. We have the players to get in top 6 with a decent manager. BW. Interesting report on lassoga. It was only millwall. I agree he is a good goalscorer but to build a team round him would be dangerous. A decent team will mark him out the game. And he offers nothing else. Speed and accuracy is what we need. A more clinical roofe type is the answer.

Believable5 Unbelievable3

22 Jan 2018 15:06:33
no i do agree about lossager it was only millwall but he has scored a few and on saturday he was immense, he lead the line, pulled us forward, broke quickly, demanded the ball and two great finishes, his second goal saw him break through make the pass find the space demand the ball and bury it. i'm not saying he is definatly the one, but from what I saw i would certainly say let's play to his strenghts and make sure we give him as many chances as possible. that said 1st half he missed a header that my nan would of scored. it was an ongoing joke that he has won a world cup then second half the joke was on them as he looked like a world cup winner, but like alosiksi (who I love) and veria needs to do it every week

22 Jan 2018 12:58:23
Interesting isn't it, at half time we were 2-0 down, and we go in at half time, come backl out and score 3 in 15 minutes, with 10 men. either that team talk worked or they just didn't listen at kick off. Burton the same, 1-0 at half time, win the game 2-1. This is big for us and can prove to be a positive in the future, but why does it take us to concede first and get a headache from some spanish bloke kicking off to then go and score goals. This team should be hungry for goals, and are slowly losing that ambition. There is ability there no question, but its about ego boosting and proving to them that they can win games, as they can see from the start of the year.

Abysmal really wasnt it the weekend, at 3-2 you think it can't be this great surely against a disgusting milwall side. Then again they had the better of us at 2-0, and it probably should have been 3/4 at the break. It appears that when we cry out for a left back, we sign one and the defence gets all rocky and uneasy, then we cry out for a striker and our number 1 striker scores a brace? TC shows no consistency, he thinks he has 18 players capable of a starting 11 place, when in reality he has about 10. ayling (injured) , berardi, jansson, cooper, de bock, vieira, forshaw, saiz, hernandez, arguably dallas. To say that this on paper is a core of a leeds team is pretty disgusting. On their day this 10 players will play well and will compete in the championship but there's probably 3/4 of them that will cut it at the next level. Jansson may love leeds united and be passionate, but what's to stop him signing for southampton and saying he loves it there even more because they can offer double what leeds can. You will soon find that this fairytale project that Radz has going on will crumble, if it hasn't already. This team, and the amount we have spent, would 3 years ago see you to the premier league, but when you have clubs like wolves throwing 30 million at strikers, and villa, derby, etc throwing about 20m on players in each window, then actual good teams like fulham, and bristol, leeds have no chance. Wehave good players, great, but it takes a true manager and a full 18 committed players to make something of a season. The reality is, there are teams like brentford, fulham, preston, bristol, who deserve to be where they are. At the start of the season i'd have said leeds did too, but the cracks are showing and leeds are crumbling. I am a huge leeds fan and always will be, but the way that TC is running this team is poor. marco sila the answer? possibly, he knows how to field a squad, has good tactics, and with investment and a license to sign players, would get an average leeds squad to a top 6 spot. I am now writing TC off until proven wrong, bu i see no way back for us. Who knows, we may go and win the next 5 games, and be right up there, but there is a serious lack of talent in our team in comparison to those around us. If they're serious about promotion, TC will get his act together, or radz will hand him a p45 and bye bye. but 1 point from 15, following 16 points from 21, a total 16 points from 12 games, says a lot about leeds this season. If you can't turn draws into wins and losses into draws in the next 4 months, fans will turn and youll be gone mr TC. By this record, i for one won't miss him, his substitutions are off, his starting line up is never the same, usually because there's an injury or suspension, discipline and fitness issues not so much genuine injuries are they. Roofe being tired, sorry that's poor. The team for me that will see this season out with real fight and anything about them is: wied, bera, jansson, penns, de bock, vieira, forshaw, dallas, hernandez, saiz, lassoga. But to be having cibicki, sacko, grot, and anita on the bench is awful and shameful. phillips the only player that should be competing in that team, and that's when he's not 6 inches off the ground studs showing. Poor leeds get your acts together

Believable6 Unbelievable2

22 Jan 2018 12:58:41
good post, let's be honest TC is a joke. Our players are playoffs our team is good enough, I am certain of this. Again look at millwall fans unbaised veiws. they said that 30 minutes leeds were as good as any team they have seen. They Thought Aloiski was best player they have seen, which let's be honest he can be class, he has pace, works back, can finish and pass, he was the reason we come back he single handldy tore wall a new one. Then we have Saiz for me the best player in the league, Jansson, Aling (my fav player) and his back Beridi is decent cover. Keeper no better or worse than most at this level. Our midfeild is a worry but the new bloke should fix that and loassoger showed when you play to his strenghts he is maybe one of the best in the league. For me our squad is good enough but as wall fans said Leeds are a weak soft touch, that's the manager, Leeds are cluess one leeds fan said maybe worse leeds manager since Hockaday. after seeing last few games I am starting to agree. I don't mind a rubbish leeds team I will get behind them but a under achiveing one really stings let's be honest Niel Harris is great manager if we had same sqauds but swapped managers leeds would win by at least 4 goals every time

Agree1 Disagree1

22 Jan 2018 13:47:54
not convinced there BW - the Wall squad are very different physically than the Leeds team and that's the type of player that Harris seems comfortable working with. I would be surprised if he would be much good with our current crop as apart from a few we don't have the physical side. at the end of the day I agree with you when you say that we do have quality in our team but maybe they are the wrong type of players for this league. we need to bolster the squad with more physical players imo so that we can do the dirty side and the physical side when needed. Lasogga has no excuse - he should be bossing defences and pushing them around much more I think and when he does that he causes much more trouble and gives opposing defenders something to worry about. all too often he is quiet and doesn't use his attributes to his advantage.

Agree2 Disagree0

22 Jan 2018 15:10:12
can see what your saying alf but wall fans think (and I agree) this is there least physical side in years, not saying harris would be the one for us (as he is wall man and knows club well he might struggle anywhere else) but he gets best from his men, look at there wingers jed wallace and the other bloke, got them playing like stanley matthews, my point is more about a manager who gets best from team but yes do agree he might not get best from our team, but we need someone who will, i don't expect us to beat man city but i expect us to beat the average teams in our league and more often than not we dont

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jan 2018 11:18:17
Have we accepted coopers red card or are we going to contest it? And if we're not! Why not? The more I watch the replay the more I think its yellow at worst for being a tad clumsy. 1st the ref reaches for a yellow then for a red. And to cap it off the player who went down like a sack of spuds got the other leg treated by the physio. An absolute joke of 5 mins at Elland Rd. The Millwall lad should be ashamed of himself acting like that after what happened to Mccarthy. No honour amongst thieves anymore is there.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

22 Jan 2018 12:18:07
I really hope the FA will be looking at that again, the lad went down holding one leg, the physio came on and treated the other leg then after Morrison and the rest of 'em hassled the ref he changed his mind from yellow to red and suddenly the cheating southern softie is up and running round ! ! !

Agree1 Disagree0

22 Jan 2018 13:01:32
not sure I think it was a red and seen reds given for that more often than not, don't think it was a horror tackle but do think it was red, certainly if it is leeds contesting it! we would have no hope. hope fa look at morrision what he did was really bad wound a lot of leeds fans up and could of caused a brawl, pitch invasion, or some poor wall fan to get beat up by angry leeds fans after the game. personally I see why players do it, and think if grown men give it to a player he should be allowed to give it back, espically when he takes the team apart as morrsion did, but it is dangerous and against the rules and he was as bad as I have ever seen,

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jan 2018 13:26:07
If you dive into a tackle, with your foot off the floor, no control and catch your opponent around the knee cap then you will be sent off. It does not matter if the player was feigning injury, the fact being that our "League 1 at best" Captain made the decision easy for the Referee and got what he deserved. Unfortunately the lesson will not be learned as our lilly livered head coach will bring him back into the starting eleven as soon as he has completed his ban. There are no consequences for players such as Cooper, O'Kane, Phillips et al, which is why they show no remorse for their actions and represent why discipline is a real issue at the club
