A mate of mine who is a massive Rangers fans thinks representatives of Leeds were there yesterday to discuss a deal for Cantwell, he's put in a transfer request there and is training with the youth team, worked with Farke before. Would be a good signing for the squad.

Same formation and tactics we struggle against every time surely by now there's a plan in place to counter it.

Our club has ripped the fans of royally this close season, we were full of hope after last season people bought season tickets thinking it would be our year turns out we could struggle badly due to the mismanagement of our club.

Agree with that Bright, yet again Farke has his hands tied at the start of the season. It will have to be a quick turnaround, but don’t forget we only got really started from Jan 1st last season and only missed out by a crossbar.
Farke for me is still 100% the only coach who can do this, talk of anyone else in my opinion is completely nonsensical.

Farke last season inherited a car crash and still got 90 points. He has proven he is the best at this level.
Some calling for Belisa? The man that farke beat when both in the same leauge. Bilsea had a great hand at leeds farke has nowhere near as string a hand or money to spend … let’s give him time!

It could be a lot worse gents, at least we are creating chances and lots of them. MJ will come good and to be honest there is still some gelling to do. Willy looked good, DJ was excellent, unfortunately the defence carried on from where they left off last season!
Rothwell and Ampadu worked better than Gruev and Ampadu, so lesson to be learnt there. I also think that there are better substitutes than Bamford! DJ and Gnonto should not of been substituted, yes bring Piroe on but not Bamford.
My main worry, as much as I like the guy, is DF, is he really cut out for this huge job?, is he the best we can get?, I hate asking this after 1 game but he looked lost again and totally out of his depth, his substitutions are again very naive like last season and his decision to bring Bamford on showed signs of desperation. I really want this to work for all of us because we need stability but we also need results!
Worrying result, not all doom and gloom and while I hate to agree with Baz, he does have a point about our goalkeeper, he was responsible for there first goal, nothing he can do about the second and for me he could of read the penalty better, but that might be a little nitpicking by me! He positioning is strange at the best of times and his distribution is flakey, I mean what are the goalkeeping coaches doing, maybe they need dropping as well!
Things will change that I do know and this young boy Rowe, well we need to go full out to get him as well and maybe some thought needs to be addressed regarding Messlier. This is not a rant Baz! ?.

Proper taken the wind out of my sails has that. Same problems persist as last season.
Negatives: Meslier needs to improve. That first attempt at a save was absolutely dreadful and there's no defending it. It was an appalling attempt at saving a shot that was directly into his hands at a perfect height. Missed chances. Also wasn't a fan of the in-game management from DF as it slowed the game down just when we were starting to get on top. All problems we had last season that should have been rectified. Need Rutter to try his trickery in the final third rather than the middle third as it put us under needless pressure at times when he lost the ball. Conceding 3.
Positives: Gnonto. Bogle going forward (but not defending) MJ ran the channels well and did some nice link up play. Aaronson can be impactful for us. We do look more of a threat from corners now. We scored 3.
Need to be much better than this.

Is Rowe any better than what we have? Maybe he is but from what I’ve seen of him it’s a no.
The keeper is the main problem I’m afraid. A terrible error for their first which changed the whole game.
We were good going forward in patches and really should have won the game unstop being relieved at getting a point.

Certainly a difficult game in the end. It was always going to more difficult than many thought. Newly promoted (Champions) team with nothing really to lose. They had a go and you have to respect that.
The biggest disappointment for me was the defence overall, including the keeper. Rodon seems unfit (injured? ) , Bogle made a few mistakes, and sadly Mes very poor for that first one. This is the one area we should actually be stronger than last season (not on that showing)
Positives…well Gnonto played well, JM was industrious but should have put his big chance away. Firpo my MOM, seemed assured in everything he did.
Well we didn’t lose and well, we created chances for fun and who knows the game that might have followed had we scored in those first couple of minutes. As much as we could and should have won it, it would have masked a questionable performance.

As Baz and others know I missed a slug of the first half, but my question is; why do we seem to be only able to maintain a high tempo, utter dominance, creativity, and chance creation for 20 mins? I know it can’t be maintained for the full 90, but we go from excellence to utter trash for the other 70? It’s the same as last season, and the PO final; ten mins each half, then cack!

In my opinion Bright, having been so utterly dominant and then taking the lead, I think they thought it was going to be a walk in the park and there was a definite slowing up (as usual) after the goal. We do seem to have some resilience however, we always looked like we could step it up when we needed to.
What frustrates me about this team is, despite knowing exactly what is working in a match, we always find a way to stop doing it?

As regards your question for me maintaining control with high QUALITY tempo for a sustained period comes down to how good one's players are in MIDFIELD areas
