Every team goes through a bad patch and unfortunately it's our turn!
We're playing well enough and things will turn our way. Can we do another seven wins on the trot? Of course we can. There is nothing major wrong when you think about it although a new striker or two wouldn't go amiss.
I remember when Wilko took us up and that went to last game of the season.
Some on here are very positive myself included, maybe too much so but we are still in top two with a six point gap and me personally if i wasn't positive I'd find it hard to get by.
Apologies to those who I've called moaners because I'm sure we are all Leeds and want the same thing.

Agree with BW, the LUFC hierarchy are again pursuing a very high risk strategy, with their lack of investment.
Can’t fault the coaching, but no game is easy (unlike the mighty Brentford yesterday) , given ratio of chances to goals conceded and chances to goals scored. It wasn’t very long ago we had the most miserly defence which masked our up front problems but sadly no more.
Obviously don’t know Radz’s finances but needs to find funds from somewhere as can’t help feeling this is our last chance for some time of returning to Prem. If we don’t this season can see crowd, Bielsa and best players drifting away, making us far less attractive to a prospective purchaser.
Isn’t the definition of insanity doing the same again and expecting a different result?

That's what I have been stating since last season that Radz is a chancer and a fool not to invest to get us over tbe promotion line
Worryingly Radz has Lee Bowyer lined up to be our next manager next season ( after Radz messes up our promotion chances again this season and Bielsa has gone )

Think we were let down big style today and i hope all the team are hurting. Abysmal finishing again, think we need two goalscorers in the team as chances need to finished off and no one seems up to it. Top of the league with a derby match at ER and that's the result, not good enough. Need maximum points from next three or we will be back in the pack again. Only good thing is Brom drew so pressure on them also. Still think automatic is ours for the taking but need to come back from that one with a big showing against QPR.

I had a pleasant dream 2 days ago that my favourite ever Leeds United player the main man that is Mr Mark Viduka was playing as our centre forward in this Bielsa team
. now he would score 25 to 30 goals this season . promotion sorted.

just seen highlights, bamford, harrision and costa missed sitters. same old
cooper lost his man and kiko let in near post both awful. drop both
second goal (not kikos fault no one was saving that) but in from a cross. same old
they also should of scored from a corner. same old

so in football putting bal in back of net is hard. we are finding that hard but letting in goals to easy as we have all season
i noticed there manager was monk. not good enough for leeds but can beat them. belisa is good apprently so stop losing games agaisnt lesser manaers with lesser teams pleased. it is doing my liver and heart no favours.

sorry to annoy but years back brighton and millwall were both in a relegations battle (about 94 i think)
brigton where 2-1 up and started singing going down going down going down. all of millwall sung so are we so are we so are we. was brilliant. wall ended up winning 3-2 and stayed up while brighton went down
moral of story. own it. leeds, leeds falling apart again should become our new marching on together. let's proper own it. let opposition fans know it. then we take power away from them. they can't sing it and it might inspre our players to performer better ta a 0-2 home loos to a pony team.
i am fed up of leeds fans singing about being top of the league and going up and not owing leeds falling apart again. maybe it puts pressure on our players. because let's be honest singing about going up ain't working so let's sing about falling apart. and maybe we wont. worse that can happen is at least we own it

Every pundit and commentator and football fan says we are the best team in this league which I believe we are but plaudits are all well and good the fact remains that the best team doesn't mean promotion it's as plain to see we need a clinical striker it's been plain to see all season.
A goal scorer bought in August would have put us 15 points clear now. All good having a supermodel girlfriend but if she doesn't get you over the line. What have you got.

The teams of Revie Wilko. and Oleary had regular goals from ALL outfield players
The gk. Kiko is a problem again too time for Bielsa to make strong decisions starting with playing Meslier instead.

Vids when you have a proper goalscorer he opens up everything which allows the midfield space to score. Its nearly got to a stage where teams who sit back and soak up pressure know we struggle to convert.

bazooka. kiko let in one bad goal but second was not his fault. i agree maybe drop him as miesliser played well. but what about the people who missed the goals (not just bamford but costa and harrision)

what about KP who again was over run and offers no defensive protection?

what about our wonderful manager who nearly two years in is making the same mistakes and getting beat by a poor team run by gary monk

Do I not want to hear the bloody song again! Let's not panic, tho I find it hard not to, and hope that this is not a last year repeat but merely the kick up the arse we so deservedly need. Hopefully this will have underlined to the three musketeers in the boardroom that (at least) another striker is needed. Here's where my radical thinking comes in.
We do not want to lose Bamfords work rate altogether but we are missing a "natural" goalscorer/ poacher. Whatever he is Bamford is not that; neither is he gifted with clear/ quick decision making. Maybe? we do need a luxury who will be a passenger for a lot of the game but most weeks will pop up with a couple of goals to save the game? Maybe we need to change formation and play two upfront. The rider to that is we then need wingers who can take on backs and set up pinpont crosses. We already have the No 10 to set up the chances.
I said radical because "I have a dream, I have a dream. That one day. " but given Bielsas intransigence it will, sadly, never happen.

We were rubbish today against what I would call a poor S/ W team who made us look very average. I couldn’t name a stand out player for us today!
Wasteful in front of their goal, passes going astray, Costa was poor again IMO, we should revisit hist transfer fee with Wolves.
The owner, boardroom, and MB must see we need to bring in a quality creative midfielder who can link defence and attack in addition to ST and some.
In the 9 games we played over Jan and Feb last season we got 13 pts from possible 27, that gave us 64 pts from 36 games. I’m just using these as markers for our performance this season!
Brentford, Fulham, and Florist making me nervous but so should WBA be.

Leo- I was thinking very much the same, Bamford has demonstrated 2 supreme skills- Working hard with the ball in the attacking half of the field, and getting back in to help the defense, but not in converting chances to goals. So if he can fit in just behind an out and out striker. This will help both in us scoring more goals, and give Bamford more chance to get back to help in defense. I hope MB reads these posts!
I am not sure who we would sacrifice? Any ideas?

absolutely. the answer is obvious and has been all season yet the hierarchy insist on doing things on the cheap and not finding a proper solution. we need to spend big, bring a proper goalscorer in and move forward. any more papering over the cracks with cheap options will see us missing out once again.
Radz should sell up to someone who actually wants to put money into the club and not just their own pockets.

Good result in many ways as will force those in control to wake up to the deficiencies, before we blow the chance to go up again (being pipped by that colossus that is Brentford) . Definitely over performed this season, even Bielsa wasn’t confident, possibly before he knew he had lost Roofe and Pontus to perform at the same level again. Done great so far but definition of insanity is doing the same again and expecting a different result (Jan transfer window) . Am looking forward to Martin G and Cork’s criticism and seeing Time Bermo, your previous plays had great results.

If we had a half decent goalscorer we wouldn't be in this situation we should have been 3 up at half time and out of sight. Bamford back to his old self missing gilt edged chances and Costa and Harrison should have also done better.
