Whites sent scouts to Norway on Wednesday night to run checks on Bodo/Glimt winger Jens Petter Hauge.
Also understand Whites ran rule over striker Kasper Hogh, though it's the Hauge who is their main focus.

Some pundits predicting Farke will go for 5, 4, 1, on Saturday. Personally I hope he plays 2 upfront.
27 Feb 2026 06:57:18
Not sure what to do v City tbh. They have a lot of threat, so it makes sense to be a bit more defensive. Dcl is not great on his own up front. I will leave it up to the main man to get it right or wrong.
When you look at their team, you think we have no chance. But we are at home. Under the lights. Who knows.
27 Feb 2026 13:16:06
Ausman, we always have a chance, mate. If we play well, we could win, but I think it will be a draw.
28 Feb 2026 11:16:07
We have to consider Sunderland, a winnable game, in just three days' time. Do we rest players for that match?
05 Mar 2026 11:00:08
The Flaccid 1 will stick with his negative, defence-minded setup.
He's 100% reverted back to pre-Man City, and it's visibly killing us.
There's no surprise that DCL's form has dropped off again.
If, by some miracle, we manage to survive, then he has to go in the summer.
He's mismanaging players, and it's costing us in points and in value.
08 Mar 2026 09:17:33
Our new system is 1 5 4 1.
10 Mar 2026 14:39:30
Quite right, Dave.
24 Feb 2026 10:31:33
Reports circulating that Liverpool are going to make a push for Jaka Bijol.
I get its the new world of the prem, but devastating if so. Important we build on the sparse, but great recruitment of this year. Jaka's been exceptional. If he does go, I'd hope it's a massive fee.
24 Feb 2026 11:00:23
Even if it's true, there shouldn't be any real concerns. We should stay up and he's contracted until 2030. He then stays for the push higher up the league, or he goes for a very large fee.
25 Feb 2026 08:05:40
What's a fair price these days for world class international defender? 65mill.
25 Feb 2026 11:57:48
I would hope the days of us selling our gems are over. If we want to establish ourselves, we have to keep the foundations of the side: Amps, Stach, Bijol, Boges, Gabi, Okafor, DCL, Rodon, Okafor, etc.
25 Feb 2026 12:22:44
Bijol and Stach to leave for no less than Β£60 million. The top clubs will pay it, no worries, and we get a big warchest to buy new players, which allows us to sell other players, freeing up more money to buy more players. Our full team cost, what, Β£250 million? We could sell our starting 11 for more than that.
25 Feb 2026 12:41:16
Vid, mate. That's how the likes of Palace, Bournemouth, Brighton, etc., survive on their recruitment. Getting 60 plus for our wanted players will give us 2 new, decent replacements. Providing the recruitment team are on it.
π€ π€ π€ Even the top six decide whether to sell on, investing sale price. It's horrible to me. There's no loyalty, mostly between clubs or players. Wonder how long before the transfer window is abolished to suit the big boys?
25 Feb 2026 12:46:39
Trouble is, MoT, if we sell players like that, we are ripping up a recipe for success. It's so hard to recruit the right players who complement each other, and if some go, the whole thing is broken.
It doesn't matter how much dosh you get, you cannot replace that combination. Buying big does not guarantee it's going to work. We simply must keep the core of what makes us tick.
25 Feb 2026 20:51:42
Maybe, Vid. On the flip side, we have rebuilt the squad three times and had an outstanding team each time. I wouldn't sell them, not for anything less than laughable sums. If we got offered those sums, though.
26 Feb 2026 08:59:41
60 mill for a player who can't even get a start? All day long.
26 Feb 2026 12:42:10
Rumour is Pool are circulating Corke. You know better, I suppose. Give him away, eh? If they want him, pay up. Or we keep him. Simple.
26 Feb 2026 17:59:42
We will 100% certainly sell if the price is right, as that is part of the strategy. Recruit players at low value, at a good age, with high resale potential. It also works for the players we signed with a history of injuries - if we can sort them and / or improve the player, then we make money to reinvest.
This will be the way until we are established top 6 according to the plan, and the only way to even start to compete against the financial behemoths.
26 Feb 2026 18:04:34
Newcastle made them pay through the nose for Isak, and whilst I absolutely do not want to lose him, if it comes to that then we should do likewise. Β£60 Mil, you've got to be joking you scousers, make it Β£90 Mil and we just might think about it, but don't hold yout breath.
27 Feb 2026 16:33:00
JR was just thinking the same thing.
21 Feb 2026 12:21:59
Will be picking up 2 more youth internationals in the summer! 1 from Liverpool, and 1 from Man U. Doesn't set the world alight, but worth a punt.

Ha ha!
17 Feb 2026 14:59:23
Hearing reports Leeds will make an ambitious loan offer for Ollie Watkins if we stay up, who is keen to play for Leeds.
17 Feb 2026 20:21:25
Would love to see that happen.
17 Feb 2026 20:09:12
Yes please! π.
17 Feb 2026 20:38:54
What makes you sure he wants to come to Leeds?
18 Feb 2026 12:26:39
No chance surely.
18 Feb 2026 23:45:19
I would be stunned.
17 Feb 2026 11:36:37
Heard some Rumours that come the start of the year, we're going to make a push to sign James Trafford.
17 Feb 2026 13:57:23
Not yet convinced by Trafford. He did well last year in the Championship behind a strong Burnley defence, but that doesn't mean he'll be good rnough in the PL.
17 Feb 2026 14:58:37
Trafford literally prevented more goals than any other keeper in the Championship last season, nothing to do with Burnley's defence
They conceded more chances than us yet conceded about 20 fewer, that was solely down to Trafford.
17 Feb 2026 20:29:14
You can say anything with statistics. Sone might say that we conceded less chances than Burnley yet conceded about 20 more goals, and that was solely down to Meslier and/ or Darlow, but those are just simplistic comparisons, and in practice I think it's more complicated, but I just say I remain to be convinced.
17 Feb 2026 21:23:30
Not necessarily so Smyth, you could equally say it was solely down to Meslier.
18 Feb 2026 10:26:41
I would take Trafford. likely Englands next Number 1. massive resale value.
19 Feb 2026 08:02:56
How much did Citeh pay again? It would only ever be a loan, unless we want to stump up 35m for him, which he ain't worth (yet) , and, as I've said before, I am not convinced by anything in his technical abilities. He's a good shot stopper, but, as we've seen with our own, there's much more to the role than just that!
16 Feb 2026 05:20:14
Rumoured to be looking at boro hackney. As well as custard. Should get him then.
19 Feb 2026 10:57:43
Hackney is doing a great job this season, and we did look at him in Jan, but allegedly Boro wanted around Β£30m, and there are concerns that he may not make it in the Prem.
05 Feb 2026 17:08:07
Looks like bad news for the foxes . probably a double dip down to league 1.
05 Feb 2026 19:33:26
6 points is a joke, should be 60.
06 Feb 2026 00:33:48
Not enough to send them down unfortunately.
06 Feb 2026 01:12:37
They're now just outside the relegation places having previously been comfortably mid table, so I think they'll survive. However, since we got a 15 point deduction for a similar infringement, I don't see why the should get away with losing only 6.
06 Feb 2026 07:05:18
Think mot was right. Anymore would have given us the opportunity to sue them and league.
06 Feb 2026 23:36:32
I think our 'infringement' was the double administration and non compliance with insolvency rules so not quite the same but was still much harsher than the one Leicester just got. Luton's 30 PT reduction was the largest deduction in football to date so we were still nowhere near that!
07 Feb 2026 08:57:05
Remind me what luton did Alf? Thatβs ridiculous. Prob knocked city out the cup or something π¬.
11 Feb 2026 08:00:00
You wouldnβt want to be a foxes fan today. That takes some doing lol. At home too. Ouch. π.
11 Feb 2026 17:55:21
Absolute collapse. Enjoy league 1 and thanks for James Justin πππππ.
11 Feb 2026 18:33:00
Luton Town lost 30 points in 2008 due to a combined penalty from the Football Association (FA) and the Football League for financial misconduct, specifically for illegal payments to agents (10 points) and failing to exit administration correctly (20 points) .
04 Feb 2026 19:56:11
Hearing Stach is out for 2 - 3 games. A big blow.
04 Feb 2026 22:56:39
10-14 days.
04 Feb 2026 23:06:04
Definitely. Probably brought him back from injury a bit too quickly. Hopefully he returns quickly and one of those weeks is FA cup so he may not have been playing that game anyway.
05 Feb 2026 22:39:58
Didn't he land funny during a tackle or jump for a ball early on in the Arsenal game? It looked sore.
