I have suggesting Shaughnessy for some time . Glad he came on and put in a shift. O'Kane looked a little off his game and Phillips is still far too reckless but he hopefully will learn. Hope he doesn't cost us too many points while he learning. Our goalkeeping situation is dire. Is it me or has Ayling become far more short tempered. Looks like he's been taking the lead from Berardi. Nothing much to add to what's been said about Alioski, Hernandez and Saiz. Still think we are still deficit. Ecuban put himself about like the fans like but he hasn't got an eye for goal or the finishers instinct (too many touches before he gets a shot off) He might improve. All in all a good performance but nervy as I thought we would be going down to ten men all the way through the game.

It’s probably some of the ‘fans’ having a pop on social media calling our boys ‘soft’ and being ‘weak’ etc etc, it’s bound to get the guys wound up. They are human beings and will react if enough buttons are pushed! It’s all well and good to put in a shift and compete but there is a line and I think that you will see our card tally rise if every time we get beaten those who chose to vent their frustrations (and in some cases it is mindless abuse) directly at the players. Sometimes it’s difficult to ignore it or not let it affect you if it’s constantly in your face. 😔

Well a win is a win and we deserved it but Barnsley were very poor and they didn’t cause us any problems. As much as I like Alioski and Siaz I wish they would tackle more and stay on their feet as they go down to easy! Eukaban is a solid player, he tracks back and is up there when he should be, it could work well with Roofe and him. I’m not convinced with Felix, he looks so nervous! I thought Pontus was in total control and considering he was booked early he did well. Cooper steady and Ayling is becoming very solid, he covers a lot of ground! I think we missed Vieira and for me Pablo is getting better! All in all a win is 3 more points, I hope TC stays as today he showed he passion for Leeds while being moaned at by Henpeckedbottom! MOT

Mike. Agree except I can't criticise Saiz and Alioski on today's performance. Saiz is a class above. And on form Alioski is not far behind

Totally agree Speedy and I think they are great, I just hate all this falling over, rolling around and the waving around of invisible cards! The thing with referees nowadays is that they don’t like it when players push them to make decisions and then one comes along that’s genuine and we won’t get it! Pontus could of had 2 penalties today because of shirt pulling but again the ref wasn’t going to give them because they are stubborn and will only make decisions when he thinks it’s right! Please don’t get me wrong because I think they are a quality buy and it looks like they love playing for Leeds, in all honesty I think they would easily be worth £7 to £10M each! MOT

Good win today. Looked more like the team from the beginning of the season. Ekuban worked hard for the team. Pablo saiz and alioski all ran there socks off. Now time to prepare for Friday. Got a feeling we will hammer villa MOT

Almost 50% of the fans were Leeds; away! Ekuban, great. Captain Coops, quietly solid. Magic hat; hard. Felix; surprisingly confident and assured! Front lines; creative. Then shaughnessy comes on and shows us the future of the midfield. Very pleased with that performance!

Good wins lads Some really good players today although Barnsley didn't offer much. Saiz was exceptional and I really liked Ekubans work rate as it lifted others . The back four all got pass marks for me today . Villa next lads MOT

This game did nothing to allay my fears about our goalkeepers. Wiedwald is just not comfortable, and though the defence marshalled him well because we got the early goal it will be very different in games where we concede first. That edgy personality will become infectious when we are behind and lead to bad things. I would make a signing like Karl Darlow or Alex Mccarthy in January. Add a lb and cb, and if we r really lucky a forward to that and I think we have a play-off team.

I love Ekuban's effort and application. The guy works his socks off and tracks back better than any forward we have at the club. I just wish he would take his shots earlier without the hesitation but I really can't fault him apart from that. He should play every game up front where we won't expect to see much of the ball because the amount of work he gets through and willingness to do so is just excellent

Good start. Saiz is just class and Alioski is getting better every game. Barnsley not playing well at the moment which is just as well as O'Kane and Phillips are a bit hit and miss with the latter still as reckless as ever. Hope we don't concede early.

Dallas is injured. TC still persisting with the open attacking style. I hope he knows what he is doing. Personally I would not have played Hernandez from the start and played Shoughnessy in front of the back four.

Well, we were 2-0 down to Wolves at their place. Not a disgraceful result by any measure. Then we clawed one back. Next we lost a man. We haven't been the best team at playing catch up football this year so no real surprise we leaked another 2 from there. We faced a tough competitor and found ourselves in a tough spot. When we had 11 on the field we were still in there, away to arguably the current best in our comp. Last week we controlled the game against a good Middlesborough side. It only became squeaky due to a ridiculous call from a bind touchy - otherwise would have been a comfortable victory. I think today, if the guys can retain their confidence, will control the game again and come away victorious.

Hey guys its been a difficult couple of months watching the lads, I'm wondering if a change in formation 3-5-2 might help change tactics and strengthen our weaknesses imo that's the midfield battle, put Felix back in as loners is no better until we can get a solid goalkeeper (letting Greeny go now looks stupid) Pontus, Pennington and coops as the 3 CBs wingbacks I would go Dallas on left when fit or Alioski for home games, Ayling on right, with Phillips, Vierra or okane and Saiz in no 10 and keep roofe up top with Celeb, if you went 343 in a more attacking set up you could play Dallas and alioski, we need solid PL or championship experience in the Jan window of that there is no doubt, GK LB (NO NONSENSE CM) ST maybe even another Better CB than Pennington and coops, really hope we can win today think it will be 2-1 hopefully to us depends on TC tactics and line-up MOT Brothers 😎
