Great to go up, my lad is 16 been to loads of games, he knows no different, but to think all those years and now we are there. I liken the championship to a dirty pub full of warm beer and characters and dull lighting.

The Premier league is a new tap house and everything is a bit clinical with the lights on. I feel like I want to enjoy it, but l like the working man/ woman club.

Do you know what I mean or have drunk. too much.

Sort of do Dougie I think I he championship is more real football and more of the people than the prawn sandwich only jo my that matters premiership, but that beng said we were the EFL cash cow and they did everything in their power to keep us down so it’s time for us to test ourselves higher and hopefully the football we play will cloud all the clinical business stuff, but then I’m definitely drunk so what do I know!

lads i am delighted. I have lost my voice and not ashamed to admit i have shed a lot of tears tonight.

not many have had the heighs of winning the league and beating barca, milian etc to two relegations and losing to hereford and sutton

i knew belsia was great i also knew he had great flaws. im so happy to say i was wrong. i thought his flaws would outweight his greatness and it was the other way round.

we are back and i don't care if we lose every game next year at least we are back

Good post bermo! I would say that I’m not sure Bielsa is the automatic choice to take us beyond today. But that’s a story and discussion for another day, . For now well done, Bielsa, Radz and Orta because you’ve done it and we’re back. Now we need to stay!

As somebody said above, Bielsa has done a fantastic job with a fairly average group of players, most of whom he inherited. So the next question is, can he rebuild the team to tackle the Premiership successfully? A different skill but it wouldn’t surprise me if he can do it.

May I recommend custard, I always find humble pie hard to swallow so should help the doubters and doom and gloomers swallow it a bit easier, I'm just not happy that we didn't win the league by 150 clear points and score 900 goals in the league and only concede one which was aben whiteown goal ( which won goal of the season by the way)

Great result today despite not being our usual selves grinder out the result to the very end! The promised land is in site and it is the most excited I have been all year.

Just out of curiosity which signings and positions would you guys like to see strengthened in the coming transfer window and by who? My ideal signings would be Bogle from Derby think he's a quality RB with bags of potential, Buendia from Norwich who could replace Pablo in the future, and I know this isn't realistic haha but I'd love to see Giroud on loan up top, think he'd suit our system perfectly and a lack of game time due to Chelseas signings could work in our favour. Be great to hear your opinions and ideas.

think bogle is good however i think RB is the one position we don't need to strenghten as ayling is IMO our best player and one of few who could do well in the prem

i think CB's are the biggest problem then followed by a deadly forward.

Unfortunately I don't think the majority of the team would be able to cut it in the Premier league. Other than Ayling, Messlier and possibly Phillips (he will need to learn how to compensate for his lack of pace in the Prem which could be a major Achilles heel) I just don't think the rest are good enough. Pablo may be just too old now which would be a massive shame (unless he also could adapt his play to suit and I hope if we make it he does because he has been an absolute legend this season) and we are stuck with Costa who may come good but the rest of them aren;t good enough for that level week in week out imo. We also don't even own a lot of the team so White will go back, Harrison I have doubts about even at Champ level let alone the Prem as he is too inconsistent, don't get me started on Cooper, Kiko awful, and a lot of the others have heart but not good enough.
Saying that, signing too many new players can unbalance a team and they would need to gel so it could be a mistake replacing everyone wholesale leaving us open to a terrible start to the season and relegation so we have to be careful. With that in mind maybe 4/ 5 astute signings may be the best option to integrate with the rest of the team.
Hopefully some of the youth will come good but if they haven't been good enough for the Champ this season why would they be ready for the step up?
Hopefully we will get the answer to these questions if we get promoted.

Alf I would be on the same lines as you. Think 6 or 8 could be moved on, end of loan, haven't got the legs anymore, retired etc . We will need to strengthen no matter what league we are in.

Would love to see Pablo nursed thro the Prem season, if anyone deserves it, he does but I would look to find a Pablo clone somewhere in the world. As far as a creative attacking midfield goes how about John Swift or Cantwell? If we cannot break the bank and keep Ben White then definitely need a ball playing CB. Same thing with KP if we cannot keep him then a Robin Koch type would be needed in there. Upfront, at least one winger is required the worse being the waste of many millions Costa. He may come good but how long can you hope for? and Lastly, a 30 goal a season striker. I just cannot put my finger on the problem with BamBam he has all the attributes and at times all the skill, it's just, well it's just that he cannot score? I would love to know his tally for the season if you add in all the sitters that he missed.
So, in essence I am looking at 5, altho that may be too many to stay settled. I also have not allowed for any of the U23s who will come through. Knowing Bielsa (as we do) it will be 2 new faces but relying on the bodies that got us there to do it again and keep us there. By there I am being presumptive!

The problem with Bam Bam is his finishing. He either doesn't have time to or is unable to direct his shots or headers once he has got on the end of them. This means sometimes they go in but often they miss or go straight at the keeper. If he could improve this aspect of his game he would be worth £50 million rather than £10 million but at his age I doubt he has it in him. A real shame as the other aspects of his game are very good and he does get into the right areas.
