Great point yesterday, a couple as already stated were not firing and gave the ball away too easily.
But that's the first game that we saw some emotion from DF. Finally, I think he's starting to believe - it was great to see him having a go at some players.
23 Apr 2026 21:08:06
I think he has always believed in what he could achieve with his players at Leeds Utd. It's a shame that a number of fans didn't believe in him, even before the season started!
23 Apr 2026 12:18:52
It is a very good point what JR pointed out below, the referee also had a good game and did his job properly which is rare for us.
I know some will feel that we were only lucky, but I think it’s because we are so used to be on the wrong end of the important decisions by the ref and VAR.
Those decisions were made correctly and we 100% deserved that point against a very good and in-form Bournemouth, let’s not underestimate what performance we did last night.
Tyler Adam’s didn’t like the fact our fans gave him some stick, so he felt like he needed to cheat.
No worries Tyler, we don’t miss you, we have better than you in our squad.
23 Apr 2026 14:10:59
Disappointed with Adams. We gave him his break to the big time, and he mocked us for his assist. We had every right to boo the turncoat, even though we got more than what he is worth. Makes you appreciate Ba's character more. Some are Leeds. Some are money.
23 Apr 2026 17:28:01
Both bang on. He wanted to be centre of attention as soon as he came on, which is proof that he would not fit in with the ethos of our squad. Arrogant joker.
23 Apr 2026 11:55:25
Brighty I told you Longstaff was s****. 🤣
23 Apr 2026 13:22:39
Lol, Corkey!. 🤣🤣
23 Apr 2026 08:40:42.
Think we enjoyed an element of luck last night, (long overdue) but cannot praise the effort and togetherness enough against a very slick Bournemouth side to come away with a point is just fantastic.
Thought Struick had his best game of the season, Darlow again made a crucial fantastic save, agree Bogle and Bijol were not at their best, but think that was a combination of knocks and tiredness.
But our whole squad epitomised by Longstaff last night are always ready to support the cause.
Finally, big shout out to our manager last night, who I thought got everything right, and for myself demonstrated to me, he is now operating at a level I never thought possible, so I hold my hands up, I was wrong with regards to DF and all credit to him.
23 Apr 2026 09:19:12
Well said, class. Us so called experts are sometimes quick with our expert take on how things should have been done, usually after the event. Have to admit I've not always been right about Farke. And, in the words of one such lucky, famous manager, "Good managers make good sides. There's no such thing as a side making a manager."
23 Apr 2026 09:23:22
Largely agree, class, about your post.
Think we were lucky, but deservedly so because of attitude.
Think the manager and team have def improved since November. The defence and gk have very much improved.
But our goal was survival, which pretty much has been achieved.
I'm not sure this manager and team can do any better than that.
But a win on Sunday for us, and I'm predicting a weekend win for Wolves, and the end of the season has proved very enjoyable.
23 Apr 2026 09:39:12
Agree with all of that, Class. Struijk, for me, was outstanding and MoM. His game is improving every game.
You're right about Bournemouth. They were very slick, they've bought some fantastic young players there and they didn't pay vast amounts for them. A lesson to money bags Chelsea on classy recruitment.
Only problem for Bournemouth is that they are losing the awesome conductor to their success.
Great performance from our boys, though. They never gave up and were rewarded for it.
Nmencha and Willy coming on just at the right time to save the game, and give us another massive point and huge momentum leading up to those Chelsea pretenders.
23 Apr 2026 10:02:03
Special mentions for the Ref who ignored Bournemouth histrionics and got big decisions right and for Tyler Adams who was an a*******.
23 Apr 2026 10:49:22
A few of our players played yesterday as though they had Sunday on their mind.
In view of the point gained, I'll view it as a positive that they are very up for that game!
23 Apr 2026 10:53:06
Don't agree totally, Mez.
That Barca side made Pep. I think we can all agree on that.
23 Apr 2026 11:11:56
Lots of teams have made managers look good. They just followed a poor manager.
24 Apr 2026 08:36:51
Chris, I think Pep has proved he is a good manager with Munich and City. Not disputing Barcelona wasn't already a good team when he took over. Good managers get the best out of a group of players.

23 Apr 2026 07:19:55
Last night's draw puts us on our longest unbeaten run away from home since the 78 / 79 season! Bloody good going!
23 Apr 2026 07:33:36
Those records keep getting broken, must be something going right?
Plus, I didn't see Amps or Calvert Lewin making those very important substitutions last night. Maybe the coach is calling the shots?
23 Apr 2026 07:53:51
He prob has learnt his lesson, or they told him pre-game who and when. Very unlikely he made the decision, as facts have shown before, seeing as you mentioned, opti. Tbh. Didn't see DCL do much of anything. Except fall over.
23 Apr 2026 08:45:07
More than likely Aus, wouldn't want to be giving that charlatan any credit for anything he's done at Leeds United.
23 Apr 2026 08:47:00
Unbeaten in 8 away matches, I believe.
One EPL away win and 5 EPL draws, plus FA Cup games.
23 Apr 2026 08:47:03
A great, unexpected point in the end against a very good team. Team spirit and never-say-die attitude. Yes, some players under par, but others making up the shortfall. Team spirit starts with the guy in charge. Look at Chelsea. Records being broken this season can't be just down to luck! Sooner this season under Farke, than the previous premiership season under Marsh and the others.
23 Apr 2026 08:49:11
Talking of records, who recalls that.
Ten wins in a row by David O'Leary's young warriors, including EPL and UEFA Cup matches, 1999/2000 season.
Now, that was awesome. 👌
23 Apr 2026 09:44:13
That was nearly thirty years ago, Baz, and we still won nothing with all those players under O'Leary.
A massive embarrassment with what happened to our club in that period. I don't want to be reminded of it, and I prefer to concentrate on today and get behind our current set of players, coach and proper owners.
23 Apr 2026 09:58:50
Only 3 domestic trophies are available to win each season, and many very good teams miss out, especially in the league
.
23 Apr 2026 10:10:09
Does your point-scoring, replies and pettiness apply to Optis' post above too, Bright?
23 Apr 2026 11:56:33
Aus you know you blokes win hands down at your needless point scoring.
Your defiance of giving Farke the slightest bit of credit really does highlight your stubbornness to point score and Baz is similar, can't give Farke and the players any credit but can only dig up the past and compare it.
I'm just pointing it out for what it is.
23 Apr 2026 13:18:13
Aus you already know the answer to that mate. 🤭
23 Apr 2026 22:58:54
Talking of records, does anyone else remember 1973/4 when we won the first 7 games on the trot, and then went on to go 29 games unbeaten and finish up champions. A record unbeaten run only bettered once by Arsenal in 2003/4. We ended that season, Div 1 champions, and as an added bonus, Man U were relegated. Happy days.
23 Apr 2026 23:21:45
Yess JR, 73/74; my most favourite Leeds United season ever (68/69 and 91/92, a close equal second) .
Superlative opening.
29 games unbeaten.
Attractive football, great goals.
And a lovely bonus of Man U relegation.
23 Apr 2026 05:58:26
Great credit to the team for never giving up last night. I am sure like me many Leeds fans were about to admit that the better side on the night had pinched the points, but Longstaff's late strike won a late point, which could prove vital not only for league debut for spirit going into the semi-final.
23 Apr 2026 07:15:34
Totally agree mate, it's one more point going forward in Farke planning.
23 Apr 2026 08:59:32
Agreed, Prime.
When the "third" Bournemouth goal went in for 3 1 in injury time, I never ever imagined we would get a point.
The Leeds lads deserve credit for grabbing a late draw, and Ireola's miffed face at the final whistle was a picture.
Huge bonus point for Leeds . onto the comforting 40 points total.
Time to put the EPL to one side . to focus and win at Wembley vs auld enemy. Come on Leeds!
23 Apr 2026 03:12:34
Well well well. Got that one wrong I’m delighted to say.
First half was boring but second half a ripper. Topsy turvey.
Impressed with our guts and never say die attitude. They were a good team. We were slightly fortunate with equaliser. Was close decision but I don’t think he was obstructing goalie.
Very happy with the performance in general. What’s happened to Bogle? That was a dire first 45 min.
A big shout to Struik 😳 who had a fantastic game. We do squander a few chances still.
Win v Burnley and job done.
23 Apr 2026 07:11:27
A pretty fair assessment, Aus! Bogle was off it, as were many others, but I guess after the last couple of matches there was a bit of fatigue, which thankfully wasn't a mental type! The lads dug deep!
My Leeds MOTM goes to Darlow, who, despite having been a critic of his, has really levelled up, and given confidence to those around him.
Doing a cracking job!
23 Apr 2026 07:18:40
Agree, Aus.
Re the equaliser, I think the decision was right, in that there were about 5 or 6 other players obstructing his view, so I think they decided Piroe made little difference to his chances of saving it.
Struijk was my man of the match.
I'm happy with the way Farke approached the game, and his subs (including Bogel) were timely and effective.
I concede, when the "third" went in, I switched the TV off and went to bed. But, as I walked upstairs, I thought, "What if it was offside?" and went back and turned the TV on to see it was still 2 - 1, and we had just hit the post!
So, definitely a well earned point in the end, even if we did get a few slices of luck.
22 Apr 2026 19:05:52
Same side as Saturday, th3 right decision for me. Rodon and James on the bench, only Stach missing and Farke says he isn't far away. A result tonight would be brilliant. Come on Leeds!
22 Apr 2026 19:19:10
Team line up as hoped.
22 Apr 2026 19:47:51
Amen to that.
