I appears very much to me that however disappointed and sad we are about losing young Archie Gray, that he was the sole sacrificial lamb that will pave the way to new incomings and quite possibly safe guard other assets like Summerville, Rutter and Gnonto.
At the same time we manage to bring back Joe Rodon who had a great season with us and I imagine only signed up with us as I’m sure there were a few clubs in the Prem who wanted him, on the assurance that the club was going to invest in new players, to make this a very serious challenge for promotion.

Let’s hope our owners and sponsors live up to that assurance.
Onwards and upwards.

I would have traded Gnonto and Summerville to keep Gray. Gnonto doesn't deserve a start over James and Summerville isn't a Leeds lad, his heart isn't in the team.

Very nice to see Raphinia (have him back) and MB embrace before the game, Raphinia stating he owes all his success to the great man.

Also an interesting article by MB around his concerns about corporations owning football teams going forwards and how the joy and adventurism is leaving the game.

That big corporations only care how many watch each week not what they watch as a spectacle.

Other than the likes of Georgia and Turkey I think it’s been a very dull euros and personally I’m looking forward more to the pompey fixture than the euro semi finals.

Going back years now even when Bielsa was there we seem to still be square pegs k. Round holes .
Forever playing playing make shift defender or make shift centre mid or make shift full back. We seem to struggle identifying weak points and getting deals over the line.

He’s a ‘yes’ man - clean living, not going to do or say anything controversial that might embarrass the FA.

Nothing to do with managerial ability, the FA must be protected at all costs!

In fairness, he’s not done a bad job - just very dull at times and only has Plan A and very little idea on how to change a game.

Regardless of what we do in the Euros, think his time is over.
