I tell you why we are crap at the moment it is the vibes most are giving off on social media, we are all pixxed off but slagging off constantly will have an effect, hence our results. Today was a poor performance by all, especially kiko, he is a weak link and needs to be removed, but we have no power to influence this, so we should just accept it is what it is at the moment and support the boys. We are by far the best team in this league, we will come good, form is temporary, class is permanent. MOT.

If that is the case Dougie then the club need to ban social media with the players. Fans will always have an opinion so if players can’t take that then they shouldn’t be allowed to access it. Simple.

Bright mate I love your optimism but we are not the best team. We play above ourselves mainly thanks to Bielsa but there are around 5/ 6 teams who are much more talented. I do believe, I do think we can do it but not cause we are the best. Simply cause our coach IS the best and he will wring our performances that are aboveboard and beyond where we should be. In anyone else’s hands this squad would be around 17th but Bielsa can get us up.

Agree to an extent George, my point really is that if you are constantly told you are shxt then you start to believe you are, it doesn't help with confidence. Bam Bam is a typical example, in some eyes the scapegoat for whole squad, but none of the others that should score are either.
I just think social media is having a detrimental effect and should be banned at Leeds UTD, maybe look into the psychological side of why the team are not firing on the same cylinders as they were.

Come on lads no one is running away with it yet. Said this month will be hard and i am dreading the Brentford game. If we can hang on to a top three spot i think March will see us get plenty of points on the board.
What we have to hope is that Bubs is as good as everyone is telling us. That he finally changes the guy up front and gives JKA a run in the team. KP is back thank god as both defence and midfield have looked a lot weaker without him. Bubs needs to start trusting the youth as well, surely Meslier cannot be worse than Kiko. Dallas is not a full back and both he and Alioski flatter when going forward but provide little when defending.
Sick of playing players out of position because we did not have the forward thinking to cover all bases. Strange how every other team manages to do it. An average CB is better than a right back playing there.
Keep the faith lads its not over yet, MOT.

I agree Bielsa. Squad aren’t good enough to beat the top teams but we can beat the also rans and after the Preston game we have loads of winnable games. If we do the business and go on a run like before Christmas we can still do it. If we do go up we need 22 new players tho cause none of this squad arePremier league.

At the other end of the pitch, for me Meslier has to start against Brentford - time to take Casilla out of the spotlight, for his own sake and the rest of us too. Have to feel sorry for him, as the continued delay in his FA hearing is obviously messing with his head. The longer this goes on the more it appears deliberate on the part of someone within that morally corrupt organisation. So, please Mr Bielsa, let him take time out to clear his head, and leave it to the rest of the players to get even with the authorities on his behalf on the pitch.
I'm guessing Poveda picked up a knock in the U23s yesterday, and hope he's fit for Tuesday, to give the Bees something else to think about in the second half.

Today is the first match I have watched where I thought there is nobody else to blame but the team/ management, not the referee, not the pitch, not the weather, we were just poor.
HOWEVER, just over a month ago we were 11 points clear of 3rd in the league, the way the championship works, I still have a little hope in my heart that there could be a possibility we could be 11 points clear again in just over a month. We have time to turn this around, last year our bad run came too late, this year I hope we have time to turn it around. I may be misguided but I'm an optimist!

For questioning his intentions for questioning his investment for questioning his purchase of Elland road for questioning his transfer policy and at many times told I was wrong. Well how can a team that was wiping the floor with the same teams earlier in the season look so out of ideas, disjointed fed up lacking inspiration, Marcelo cannot motivate! he seems incapable, no fist pumping arm around players that is so desperately needed, the players are not getting the love, advice and motivation they need from our management, you could see it in they're faces thsy ghey are looking for some inspiration from bielsa but he can't do it! I feel more pain is on the way this month and we will be lucky to make the playoffs! Sad to say but we really are falling apart AGAIN!

Spot on DJ. I did not see a motivated team today, I saw a tired team with the same players playing the same tactics. Substitutions were painfully predictable as will be the starting line up on Tuesday. We have again hit a wall and it up to the manager to justify why he is the highest paid in this league to try to lift us out of this funk. Sadly you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Bielsa's own words, pressure for the players and me doesn't exist as we are professionals. The guys a fruit loop, his players run a lot and he is happy with that. Brighty we don't own the ground and even more pertinently the good players in tbe squad we once owned we have sold Wood, Taylor, Viera, Roofe, Saiz, Jansson etc have not been replaced with better or similar . this team squad is weaker than last season and our better players such as White and Harrison even Meslier are loans.

Cellino sold Wood. Taylor fooooked us over. Viera, yes, fair. Roofe refused to sign a new contract. Saiz spat at people, which ain’t Leeds, then came up with a crass story as to why he had to leave. ( where is he now? ) . Jansson thought he was bigger than Leeds, even tho we saved his career. (If I was his Capt, I’d have slapped him silly. )

Casillas and Bamford both started yet again, it's getting silly now. So rushed and frantic yet again. They need freshening up, a blind person could see that. Alioski is not a fb and white in centre mid, our best cb. Mb is so stubborn. I'm not even that pisd off as I could see it coming, just disappointed. Maybe kp will help for rest of season but Casillas has to be dropped. Meslier did OK against arsenal, why try him out if not willing to play him. My team for Brentford would be, Meslier, dallas, white, coops, Douglas, kp, klich, Pablo, Roberts, Harrison, augustin.

At the risk of repeating myself (and many others on here) possession does not equal points. Pretty football does not equal goals. Not that there was much of either on view today. We huffed and puffed then forgot where the goal was.
I am sorry but I had my doubts when I saw Alioski on the teamsheet. He then confirmed my doubts with, out of position, missed/ bad tackles diceing with a red card. I would complain about BamBam but I am not sure he was playing today. Either they all want locking away in a darkened room till Tuesday or (drastic) surgery is required. I am not a turncoat. I am not ungrateful but I am worried.

Exquisite football at times but same Achilles heal. Casilla's mind is elsewhere! Why are we so tame though? Forest's players are in the ref's face at every opportunity looking for decisions. And that ball was out Hinchcliffe - and I note no replays have been shown to prove it.

Entirely predictable. How bad was that? Lots of possession in the first two thirds -then nothing. Casilla- poor again. Bamford - absolutely no presence in the box. Others not bad until they get into final third then very poor. As with Wigan, Forest could play without a keeper and still keep a clean sheet. Do you still think Bielsa is God? Let's see in the second half. Really not enjoying watching Leeds' powder puff football - no cutting edge and very frustrating.

On our game we are the best team in this league. let's not forget that.
Every team has a poor run during a long season.
One question I ask myself is, have our players tried to save themselves, to keep something in the tank, for the run in, as opposed to last season. Have we got the ability to kick on again.
Also can Bielsa see that it might be a better option to play fresh inexperienced players as opposed to the tried and tested players, who are fatigued and playing below their full capacity.
Failure to bring some of these younger players through earlier might be his biggest mistake?
While the players in training might be able to run the distances and at the speeds required to show their fitness levels, this can be a false indicator as it does not take into account burn out, form, appetite, mental tiredness/ fatigue, or any other factors that can reduce performance levels over a long gruelling season, playing a high press style of football.

Takes me back to my grandads stories of Stanley Matthews John Charles etc. and what they most likely earned by comparison, remember Malcolm MacDonald opened a pub near my old workplace and used to man the bar seven days a week to subsidise his retirement, worlds gone mad!
