VAR - so Man City v Wolves penalty given to CIiteh. Apparently a five member panel looked at this and voted 3-2 that it should not have been given. What's the effing point. VAR needs scrapping. It take a panel long after the match, which splits 3/ 2 having looked at every angle for lord knows how long. ( an apology is then sent to Wolves, great that sorts that out then)

Let's just go back to the spontaneous game of football, we have been on the rough end of all sorts of decisions - var will not change a corrupt ref.

If we can get a goal early, which I think we will go for with a raucous crowd, they will have to open up, which will play to our strengths.
Conversely, I dread the thought of us opening with a high tempo and press, and them countering and sneaking one, and THEN sitting back for the rest of the game. A proper dicey one this game, and it really could be decided by one mistake from either side, or penos.

Norwich have a bad away record ( 19th out of 24 in Champo) and their main weakness is defending/ conceding goals.

So although Wagner's natural instincts may be to park bus ; that is better for Leeds because it will negate somewhat Norwich strength of scoring goals.

The big question is WHO is able to score for Leeds. very few is the answer

Hope Rutter and Summerville prove me wrong and either or preferably both score.

Just wondering what other posters thought of Archie being deployed again in that same advanced role as attacking midfielder.
It’s fair to say that he didn’t really create anything in that game at Carrow rd, but the whole team was more in a defense mode.

Should we play more offensive at Elland rd I personally would like to see him in that same position.

If ain't broke OP, think we have enough to win tonight, can see us playing much better up front tonight. Jimmy will shine as he knows he's one game away from the showroom, Rutter will be on it tonight too as he's had more time for recovery. I have a genuine good feeling about tonight, and when we qualify, not if I will be going to Wembley either through my membership or hospitality, these days don't come round often in your lifetime and tgere is no better way of going up if you are successful.

Until then let's leave out all the presumptive opinions about him checking out or saying things like "his heads been turned", when reality is everyone single player in the team has struggled with the pressure the last month or so. If he's said to the press he's dedicated to the cause, then hopefully he shows it tomorrow and fires us into the final!

This isn’t the first time Cree has been quoted as saying this. He has actually himself, and thro his agent / management team, been making similar statements throughout the season. A departure if we do fail to gain promotion, might not be purely of his own doing. I’m 50:50 on the reliability of these quotes to be honest.

Problem is now for Dick Emery he’s set his marker now, fans will demand the same or better from now on.
They’ll definitely need some better players in the summer and spending now is not easy to do although they will get some revenue for the CL which they will likely struggle in with no experience.
They have done well though in a short space of time.
