I love the new home shirt. There. I said it.

(Takes cover )

27 Jul 2026 21:13:22
I like it as well.

27 Jul 2026 21:20:40
Sorry guys, I don't - I wish I did but I just don't.

Hopefully it looks better in the flesh than it does in the photos. :)

27 Jul 2026 21:36:57
Bought it in Turkey last month it's nice.

27 Jul 2026 22:10:47
It was s**** a month back and it's still s****.
I'm like Cleggy, was hoping it would grow on me.

27 Jul 2026 22:21:34
The good news is,

The LUFC tea towel kit is marginally better than LUFC 1970s orange away kit.

The not so good news,

is that it would also not look out of place in a John Lewis store's kitchen dept .. kitchen linen accessories section.

27 Jul 2026 23:01:56
Before I comment, I never buy the shirts these days due to them being utterly disgustingly priced (all teams gouge their fans) , so it somewhat doesn't matter how I feel about it, that being said, regardless of my moral high ground, I wouldn't buy this one. I have a photo of me when I was about 5 years old, aside from the Red Bull logo it's about the same shirt! Who knew I (well my gran) was duped into buying a hideous Leeds T shirt 60 years ago!

I think it might appeal to 5 year olds or as Baz said, for those whose kitchens are still locked in the 70s.

28 Jul 2026 00:07:36
Yuk yuk. Tea towel indeed.

28 Jul 2026 06:45:59
I agree, Aus. Tea towel sums it up. Come to think about it, I may have one in my cupboard from the 60s. 🤪

28 Jul 2026 11:38:42
Is that the last time you did the washing up, Whiteman?

28 Jul 2026 20:11:18
I won't be buying one at the inflated price they'll be asking. That said, I don't love it but don't dislike it either. Different strokes for different folks.

27 Jul 2026 20:34:00
Well Baz, have you that humble. pie. on oven ready to eat.

Not a hope we're we signing Trafford. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Agree5 Disagree0

27 Jul 2026 22:12:01
I love Baz and I can't wait to hear his response on this.

27 Jul 2026 22:26:25
Well if Trafford signs for LUFC.good news one supposes

My actual quote was ' There's as much chance of me signing for Leeds United as James Trafford'

Therefore looks like I might be Lèeds United 4th summer signing Chrissy

I am a handy right winger. a sort of much taller Danny James. meep meep

27 Jul 2026 22:32:20
I love you too, Corkey. ..mwah. ☺️🤣

28 Jul 2026 08:26:55
Yes, Baz, you said those words, but you also said a few more, selective amnesia, I think, is the PR term. 🤣 Don't worry, I won't tell anyone.

Your secret ain't safe with me. 🤣

28 Jul 2026 14:24:25
Chrissy. No contract has been signed yet, though.

27 Jul 2026 20:01:53
* Tea towel home kit spoiler alert

I adore most and have many of Leeds United kits especially the kits from the 70s and 90s and the Bielsa Pablo Raphinha era.

However, I have just seen the promo on LUFC website for official home kit. It is indeed the tea towel kit. Ugh.

Fab has issued the Here We Go on Trafford now. Sh1ts getting real.

28 Jul 2026 08:05:55
As long as we win in the shirt, then I couldn't care less what it looks like.

27 Jul 2026 16:28:53
Have mentioned the likes of Denis cirkin (free) and ben Davies (light fee) before.

What about solly march? By all accounts he's healthy again. Free agent. Offer him 1 yr similar to what gruev is on. Maybe with a vesting second yr.

Would naturally need an in-depth medical but he was on the brink of an England callup before his injury bug.

The sort of player who might actually be aware of his fitness limitation and therefore back up gudmundsson. He also used to play further down the wing too.

As a Brighton bonus. If we sold bornauw we could do similar to sign Adam Webster on a free. Injury concerns so emergency cb might be perfect for him.

Been a massive Silly fan for a few Seez now,
Not sure what his output is now after such a lengthy layoff.

But you'd imagine a change of scenery would be great for him.

27 Jul 2026 17:26:38
Love Silly (Solly) March, surely Pascal Rutter and co could big us up.

27 Jul 2026 17:57:18
Solly has only played about 20 games over the last three seasons, and although he's talented, I think it's a big risk.
Cirkin has been unfortunate with injuries. He had nearly a full season out a couple of years ago with a hamstring injury, which eventually required surgery.

I suspect he was rushed back. Then, last season, he couldn't budge Reinildo from the fb slot, and also had problems with a broken wrist/hand. It appears that was operated on during the close season. If we wanted a cheap back up on a free at lb, he'd maybe be worth a look.

27 Jul 2026 18:41:47
Solly is a lovely lad, but has slipped into the huge risk element. Sadly he's almost at the pay as you play deal stage. My mate says he looks great just now, but he thinks a shade slower than previously, which, unsurprisingly, could just be a lack of match fitness.

Of the two, and I love Solly, everyone does, but for me Cirkin is the better option of the two.

27 Jul 2026 13:29:18
Copied and pasted: 🤣🤣❤️

Leeds United have given their Youngster 'Pickles' the number 66 shirt and the reason for it is absolutely incredible.

For those of you who don't know, back in 1966 before the World Cup, the Jules Rimet trophy was stolen in London and couldn't be found. However a dog named 'Pickles' found the trophy on his daily walk a few days later. Therefore making Pickles and the number 66 a iconic duo. 🤣 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿.

Some very weird contracts at Leeds.
Bornauw on same money as Stach and Bijol at 45k a week and more than Rodon 40k a week.
Longstaff the third top earner on 80k a week which is more than Ampadu!

27 Jul 2026 13:19:57
We are looking at some cracking players, let's hope they all come through. Can't wait for the season start. Keep them, Daniel.

27 Jul 2026 18:05:26
Rodon deserves a better salary. He was in our top 3 players last seez.

27 Jul 2026 11:04:05
With all the rumours on different players signing.
Who does everyone think we will get and what position wiould we then need to fill after that?
For me
Trafford and Brandt look like they could happen.

Then a Striker and a No. 10.
Plus back up Center Half and L Back.
After that if we can pick up any loans or freebies to improve the squad it would be a bonus.

Agree1 Disagree0

27 Jul 2026 11:51:47
As far as I know, Brandt is a No10, and Wilson can operate there too, so don't think we need another.

27 Jul 2026 12:11:43
Personally, I don't see Brandt happening.

The offer has been on the table for a while now. I just feel like he's holding out for a bigger move in his opinion.

27 Jul 2026 12:30:11
I think the window pivots one of two ways.

1. Trafford.
Brandt.
Charles (I have read he likes our offer and that the fee wasn't insulting. If he asks to move, or Southampton get desperate, it could be back on) .
Backup keeper.
Free agent or cheap lb (Cirkin or Ben Davies maybe) .

2.

Trafford.
Brandt.
Backup keeper.
20m + striker to use the Charles funds elsewhere.
Cheap or free agent lb (same suggestions) .

I feel enthused about getting 15m odd for Ramazani and Gelhardt combined out the door if they managed to terminate Wober and get Harrison out, with all the wages gone. Well done there 49ers.

If they also get a decent loan fee for Perri, or a slightly lower base fee with achievable permanent sale escalators, then good.

Gruev and Aaronson either need to be offered and sign new deals, or be sold. Would be happy for Aaronson to stay on the same terms, and Gruev probably deserves a small raise (he's not on a lot apparently) .

Gruev does a job and, apparently, is a legend in the community and dressing room. Farke likes him. I think these sorts of players are only fully appreciated when they're gone. Not that he isn't now, just even more so. Think Alioski, how much we missed him.

27 Jul 2026 13:01:19
Gruev is on more or less the same as Cairns, believe it or not, at under 800k/year.
I'd like him to sign a new contract.

Brandt would be a good free signing, but can anyone really see DCL finishing off his lovely through balls?
We definitely need a top striker.

27 Jul 2026 13:29:06
Yep Corkey. Need a striker. We got lucky last season with DCL reasonably injury free. Doubt it will happen again. Got my doubts on both Brandt and Shae. But happy to be proved wrong.
Musts.
2 goalkeepers
1 striker.
1 attacking midfielder.
Rid of as many of Gelhardt, Piroe, Arrenson, Ao.
Keep Large and Gruev.

27 Jul 2026 15:12:04
DCL done well last season, but let's not forget he scored 9 non-penalty league goals. He needs competition at the very least, and preferably an upgrade would be the way to go.

28 Jul 2026 00:12:52
100% Corkey.

26 Jul 2026 22:29:50.
First time poster, are we going to see new signings tomorrow with the new Adidas wear?

Agree5 Disagree0

27 Jul 2026 08:08:44
Welcome Rob, probably see Harry Wilson wearing the ridiculously priced shirt. Hopefully you see a new goalkeeper wearing one!

27 Jul 2026 09:45:49
Welcome Rob, great to have you on board.

Trafford in a new shirt would be fantastic, even better if he could bring his City colleagues (and Leeds United supporter) Haaland along with him. :)

27 Jul 2026 09:50:13
Good to have ya here, Rob!

27 Jul 2026 10:04:28
Soccerlord, lads, not a chance I am ever paying that type of coin again for a shirt.

Great quality, very fair prices.

27 Jul 2026 11:58:32
I've still got my LUFC Centenary Cup Final 1972 shirt. How many replica shirts does a man really need?

27 Jul 2026 15:50:04
Using that logic, JR, it's just the 1 pint you have, so is it? 🤣

27 Jul 2026 19:50:26
Welcome Rob, nice to read you.

27 Jul 2026 22:25:31
Certainly not, Chris, just a half and zero alcohol, I'm driving.
