Harry Gray to join Rotherham on loan for the rest of the season.

On the plus side, he will get first team action. On the down side, if he finds form, the vultures will start circling and we will probably have to sell in order to meet the big boys rules (aka PSR or whatever its about to be called) .
Sorry for the negativity - I want Harry Gray in a Leeds shirt for the next decade banging the goals in left, right and centre:)

Looks like Jack Harrison to Fiorentina on loan with €10m option.
Fingers crossed he performs.
Gets his wages off the books, frees up space for a new face.

Aus, I’d argue he’s been poor for us ever since we made him a permanent signing. Wish him luck out there and hopefully we get the money for him in the summer.

13 Jan 2026 15:38:42
Did like him before all the problems then he didn’t want to leave Everton but he also cooked his book there. I don’t think he did his best on the occasion he played for us just didn’t look interested, good news he may be on his why just wish it wasn’t a loan deal because if he’s crap there he will be back would have like the 10 million now.

The pace in Italy will suit him better; he is a decent player or was when we originally loaned him and actually did quite well in our first EPL season. He's a shadow of that player.
Plenty have left Leeds and other EPL clubs and have turned out to be bargains for those teams.
Agree10Disagree
13 Jan 2026 18:45:43
No idea why we don't just let them have him for free and have done. No way they will pay £10m for him unless he bucks his ideas up and starts to put some effort in.

13 Jan 2026 18:47:17
Don’t think there’s any need if any to bash all Harrison’s time with us as not all of it was that bad, I’ve definitely seen worse by others.
The bottom line for me is that he doesn’t in my mind have enough quality for our club to continue in the Premiership.
His time at Leeds is finished and it already was when he departed for Everton in my opinion.

Interesting that lots of people are saying Fiorentina have a buy option, but Fabrizio Romano's wording actually says 'buy clause', I do hope it's a obligation if they stay up, I know it's not likely but I can hope.

Harrison who? He was on the team sheet, did he miss the bus or something.

Lots of comments about Harrison off to join Solomon at Florentina. Loan with an option to buy.
Thought Manor would have given his new club the heads up.

There must a reason Spurs didn't pick Solomon in the EPL Aus. Everyone has their level; we actually do not know how good Solomon would have been in the EPL, other than Spurs didn't think he was good enough.

They said no signings until after the derby game.
So as that has passed.
We should or could expect signings.
That’s player signings from other teams to our Canada.
Generally we have to pay a fee for such.
Anything else I can help with.

Contrary to what some of the so-called "big" teams think, nobody but nobody has a divine right to be at the top all the time. Why shouldn't Arsenal be relegated, why shouldn't Wolves be champions? That was what the failed European super league was all about and why most fans rejected it.

Very true JR, no team has a devine right to anything. Alas the Prem covet and protect their precious Big 6 so it is not a level playing field. Strangely though when we were in the EFL and were one of their biggest assets they treated us with nothing but spite. Probably to prevent us leaving.

37 FA games
30 away matches
7 home matches.
Lowest % of away matches at 22%. Second lowest is 37%. Eight lowest is 39%.

Just looked back, and when we were drawn away to Peterborough in the 3rd round in 2023 it was our 13th away draw in a row, the first time it had ever happened in FA cup history. We finally broke the sequence being drawn at home to Plymouth in round 4 that year. The odds on that happening were 8,192 to 1!

The last time we were last out of the hat was the season when we beat Man U; remarkably, it happened in the next round against Spurs [2-2] which went to a replay at Elland Road [1-3].
It always amazes me with the draws, in all domestic cups that Man City get home ties against [really] lower division sides? Perhaps statistically, they don't, but it always feels that way! [repeat for Liverpool and Arsenal! ].
12 Jan 2026 19:21:10
In the FA cup 4th round we will be away (again) at Birmingham City. Strangely, the only PL teams drawn at home are Arsenal, Man C, Villa and Liverpool who also just happen to be currently placed 1 to 4 in the table. Tell me this is just a coincidence if you like, but I don't like coincidences like this.

I thought gnonto was our best player against Derby. He is a young lad with lots of talent he has just been unlucky with injuries at wrong times and the good form of James and Solomon last year. And now we have stopped playing with wingers.
He has contributed to three good results so far .
Goal yesterday. Penalty against Liverpool and a wonderful cross for dcl.
He is arguably in better form than okafor. But maybe he doesn't have the pace.
I think with a run of games he could show us how valuable he is.

12 Jan 2026 17:12:32
Pace is great but you need to have the end result and Okafor only shows glimpses of what we hoped he could do. I've always liked Willie G for his enthusiasm and commitment and hope we can find a slot for him to play on a more regular basis. He's done ok the last few games.

I would like willy to get more game time. I think he needs it to really develop. Okafor is I think suffering a little from the pace of English football. He started like a train but he is having a bit of a dip in my opinion.
I like how willy doesn't give the ball away a lot and he links the play well.
