Joe Rodon’s in great form at the minute, looking at him on Saturday against his old club wanting maybe to prove a brutal point.

Agree5 Disagree0

01 Oct 2025 19:41:41
Another goal would do OP!

01 Oct 2025 20:39:17
Would be great to see fearless Rodon keep their players away from the box.

Should be a good game of football.

02 Oct 2025 11:09:52
Another good buy, him and struijk looking like a premiership paring and we have bijol waiting in the wings.

02 Oct 2025 11:38:18
Absolutely lads, our recruitment is looking better and better when you consider the performances, defence solid, midfield purring along nicely. Players that have come in and complimented the team and given experience and confidence to the team.

02 Oct 2025 14:22:52
Struik is awful at the moment and only a matter of time before he costs us more points. Champ level at best. Bet Farke can’t Wait for another mistake or injury to drop him. We know how stubbornly loyal he is. I’d have had him off half time last game. Woeful.
I’m presuming that’s a wind up re Prem pairing berm.
Struik becoming a liability only mez has mastered.

02 Oct 2025 15:18:42
Just wondering berm. Do you watch men’s football. Or just mainly millwalless. ?

02 Oct 2025 15:31:03
Sorry Aus but I hardly think he is awful, overall he has performed well though granted he can have lapses and look fatigued later on against Bournemouth, but that's where our depth comes in, though he and Rodon have a great understanding and partnership.

02 Oct 2025 16:51:33
He had a very below par game against Bournemouth but his general form is good.
Hopefully he’ll improve against Spuds.

02 Oct 2025 18:07:35
Struijk is good but like last season he gets knackered quick. He should be rotated out to keep his fitness.

Rodon, like James, is proper Leeds lad and respect to Pascal for sticking with us and just getting on with it.

That's what I like about our midfield and defence, they all just get on with it. Nobody wants to be the superstar or take all the glory, it's team first and I like it.

Leeds are great, aren't they Ted?

02 Oct 2025 21:14:40
Aus don’t do a baz and go down the millwall route. It’s beneath you… I think.

Pretty sure in the last four years I’ve missed maybe five leeds games.

Struijk been awful? That why we are doing pretty well.

Aus comes from a land down under, where men moan so much it makes you wonder.

03 Oct 2025 00:29:46
First time I’ve ever mentioned millwall I believe. Bit of a joke. Nothing like Baz comments.

03 Oct 2025 03:15:48
Not funny and exactly like baz comments, hence my reply.

03 Oct 2025 13:16:46
someone who lives in Australia having a go at someone living in London. Hmm.

03 Oct 2025 14:30:29
I know alf thanks mate I thought the same.

01 Oct 2025 08:16:18
See Wilder is up to his old tricks, horrible man glad he got a red card and they lost.

Agree3 Disagree0

01 Oct 2025 17:35:52
Funny enough all my millwall mates were praising him. Says something about them I guess.

01 Oct 2025 19:07:10
I think as a championship manager he’s what you need. Gets his players fired up. Wouldn’t ever want him as mate premier league manager. A bit like a Neil warnock type. Off the pitch wilder is a lovely man. If you rang at 2am broke down at the side of the road he’d help you type guy.

01 Oct 2025 19:21:23
Do do do, Wilder is a .

01 Oct 2025 20:39:56
Banker

I have a cold.

01 Oct 2025 22:13:28
I actually quite like Wilder but obviously in the minority.
He’s the sort of guy if he was our manager we’d love him, or maybe that’s just me?
Apparently a top fella too.

02 Oct 2025 08:17:47
Totally on board with Corkey on this one. Hate him for an oppo, but respect him as a gaffer. If we were to go down again, I wouldn't be looking much further than him to get us back up!

02 Oct 2025 11:11:37
I have a mate who knows him well and says he is a top bloke.

People say don’t rate him in prem but went from leauge 1 to 9th in prem with compativaly small transfer kitty.

Has a style and knows how to get best out of lesser teams. I’ve always rated him.

02 Oct 2025 15:40:38
Bright - surely if we went down again we shouldn’t be looking much further than Farke to bring his back up.

02 Oct 2025 16:28:39
Na then Mighty. Can't disagree in principle, but I don't think we would re-hire him. If it ever looks like we may go down, he'll get the boot first. Don't think the 49ers are the types to bring someone back.

02 Oct 2025 19:02:15
Berm, he had an outrageous budget and if villa failed to be promoted they were fluffed. However I still think he can get the best out of players and does fire up them up.

02 Oct 2025 21:41:22
Live away days? He had an outrageous budget to get sheff utd from 12th in leauge one to 9th in prem? 100% certain he spent less than Belisa who took leeds from chasing promotion under mink (we under achieved after monk) to 9th in prem.

Pound for pound Wilde did a far better job and don’t think any one can dispute that? Can they?

02 Oct 2025 22:19:53
I’ve no idea why or how but I actually confused his achievement with dean smith at villa and his budget. Apologies. You are correct about him at Sheffield.

02 Oct 2025 22:21:25
But your spiel about Bielsa is still tosh.

03 Oct 2025 03:16:24
Fantastic enough away days mot.

04 Oct 2025 00:28:35
That was fair enough, drunk typo!

The Next Manchester United Manager Faces A Massive Task

Re watched game again and still frustrating and disappointing to concede late equalizer, poor from Tanaka and then struijk being out jumped.
I feel I'd bring in BJ, for spurs game, he supposed to be our main CB.
Again DCL had a couple of big chances, poor weak header but he is playing well and making us stronger.
Watched highlights of Boda glint v spurs and they deserved a win, spurs not great at the back and more optimistic about our chances on Saturday.
Boda #10 was very impressive, scored 2 and ran the game, Jens petter Hague, he is valued around 5mil, that will increase now.
Sure he won't leave this season as in CL but would keep eye on him for the summer, sure he'd leave that league? .
Hopefully Spurs be a bit leggy, tough midweek game and played their first team.

Agree2 Disagree0

01 Oct 2025 16:23:32
according to whom is Bijol our main CB?

01 Oct 2025 19:09:03
And why after one poor league cup showing against Sheffield Wednesday u18s are you clamouring for him to start.

01 Oct 2025 23:18:38
because i think he’s better than struijk who’s not the greatest defender, tall but misses a lot of headed clearances.

02 Oct 2025 15:27:06
I think Bijol was bought to replace Pascal who the club thought would want to / have to be sold but that never materialised so we have more cover than needed there really. Of course we will probably get injuries so a quality backup is essential.

on the other hand maybe Bijol is the new Rama/ Schmidt and Farke just won't play him.

30 Sep 2025 23:44:58
So Spuds only managed a last minute draw against a lowly Norwegian side in the CL despite putting out nearly their best available team. Good omen for Saturday?

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Oct 2025 02:47:20
Did they look up to much? Pretty good start to prem? Anybody seen them play?

01 Oct 2025 10:17:05
Good omen as in they'll score against us in the last minute?

01 Oct 2025 10:40:31
Spurs couldn't deal with the fast transition play of BG.
Lots of balls to feet in the box had spurs defenders panicking.
Archie came on and made a couple of excellent runs into box, one of which created the equalizer (his shot deflected onto Richarlison and into net) .

01 Oct 2025 11:04:54
Oh yee of little faith MoT🙂.

30 Sep 2025 10:45:23
Leeds awaiting confirmation of what looks like a serious injury to Dan James sustained in training. Potentially out for a long period. Letting Ramazani go out on loan without a recall clause looks like a big mistake.

Agree3 Disagree0

30 Sep 2025 10:52:08
Agree feath. Very short sighted. Same amount of wingers than goalkeepers. Makes perfectly logical sense. Not.

30 Sep 2025 11:28:34
He's not getting much games time at Valencia think he's had a couple of sub appearances so it's not just Farke who's unsure with him?

30 Sep 2025 12:08:00
DJ could be out for the rest of the season.

30 Sep 2025 13:35:45
It’s a minor ankle injury and nothing serious, i wouldn’t be getting all too agitated by this news although I imagine he won’t be back until after the international break.

30 Sep 2025 13:37:42
Apparently it's a ankle injury Leeds have confirmed. Medical team assessing it! +.

30 Sep 2025 13:43:09
Busy January coming up.
Another blood sweat and tears.

30 Sep 2025 14:20:15
Nor is James here. Petect scenario. Two Leeds wingers not playing.

30 Sep 2025 14:55:09
According to the BBC he's "not expected to be out long term"

30 Sep 2025 15:35:15
If he's not off on the international break, that's s bonus. Too often players go off to play for their countries and come back crocked.

30 Sep 2025 16:35:34
I think people should relax, pretty sure from the news coming out Elland rd, not shjt stirring content creators and the likes, is that we’ll have both Willy and DJ ready for action after the international break.
False alarm.

30 Sep 2025 17:51:42
It was first put out by Adam Pope, I wouldn't class him as a stirrer OP, he is usually quite level headed when reporting or commentating on LUFC.

30 Sep 2025 18:31:32
Feath, Popey is like any other journalist, they all tend to highlight the then back track after when it’s not so devastating.
He’s got an ankle knock which is not serious that's all that folks need to know, making up acl injury news is what will make headlines. It’s always at Leeds United that the news tends to get massively exaggerated.

In my estimation I imagine Farke and his staff are trying to rest him so that he doesn’t do the international games, which might aggravate his current injury.
It’s not the first time these things happen between club and country.

30 Sep 2025 07:22:29
Not wanting to single out a player but I thought Struijk played pretty badly against Bournemouth.
Especially in bringing the ball out to feed the likes of Gudmundson, I think he almost misplaced every pass. Farke I’m sure will have his eye on him on his next game or two.
Definitely needs to improve his passing, it was wasteful and dangerous, I think he knew it also judging by the expressions on his face.

Agree3 Disagree0

30 Sep 2025 09:15:53
Yep. Said in my post match opinion. He needs a rest. Very poor v Bournemouth.

30 Sep 2025 09:43:55
It's a strange one, as his passing has been a strength in the past imo, or certainly not a development / weak area. I do want to see Bijol, but there's always a risk putting a new partnership out. Rodon and Pasc have a relatively good understanding.

30 Sep 2025 09:46:53
We paid for a struijk replacement. Bring on Bijol. Let them fight for places.

30 Sep 2025 10:04:44
Not sure about that OP

If farke had his eye On 50p head, where's his eyes in the case of Baracus, 🤣🤣🤣

Absolutely zero justification having him on team sheet.

30 Sep 2025 10:32:51
Who would you start right now instead of arronsen. An injured gnonto or way out of form James.
The only option would be Bogle and there is no way Farke would do or even think of that. For now as he works his socks off. He is our best option. More for him being a pain in the arse to opponents than creative.

30 Sep 2025 10:53:34
Agree Struijks passing was off against Bournmouth, he has been excellent though the rest of this season.
I do like the idea of Bogle playing further up with JJ behind, worry that we'd end up picking up injuries though and have no cover.

30 Sep 2025 12:09:04
DJ is injured Aus.

30 Sep 2025 13:15:46
Aaoronsson's ratings from the weekend have been very good across all media I've seen, and I tend to agree with them. He put both Okafor and Dom thro, and both should've done better, and his defensive work, and work rate are a benefit right now without DJ. Anything he adds offensively from out of position on the wing is a bonus.

30 Sep 2025 14:05:49
It’s true that Aaronson is not as bad as some fans make him out to be. he’s a bit like Harrison, a lot of running about and do all their defensive duties etc but no goals or assists
I think if Aaronson can contribute a couple of assists or goals in the upcoming games I might change my mind about him.
If not then I can’t until Willy or DJ are back, this is his window of opportunity, he’s got to give Farke something to think about while our two wingers are still out injured.

30 Sep 2025 14:21:46
I know Alf now. And woefully out of form. Makes you wonder if prem too much for him
Never looked comfortable against good defenders.

30 Sep 2025 16:37:35
Bright you could count the amount of good games he's played for us on 1 hand over the multiple seasons he now been here, an achievement for him is not falling over 10 times in a game

He also ballsed up a good few bits the weekend, overhead kick that flukely went to Lewin, was intended for goal

He also ballsed up bogles marvellous run.

30 Sep 2025 20:59:33
Anything he adds is a bonus? There’s nothing left to say after that statement.,

01 Oct 2025 07:58:40
Listen, he ain't PL, he ain't a winger, if we'd have made more signings, he wouldn't get a look in.
He's wearing the shirt, and what you do get is very high energy, desire, and effort, and yes, involvement in some good passages of play both attacking wise, and defensively, as seen at the weekend.
Blot those positives out with a blindfold if you want, and ride the "slag a Leeds player" bandwagon all you want, but as long as he gives his all, as he does, then he gets my support. We've had too many who haven't done that with OUR shirt on their backs!
That is all.
Carry on slagging if it makes you feel good. I won't.

02 Oct 2025 17:16:03
Admirable your bigging up of Baracus Brighty pal

If only. Rendan showed a smidgen of that support when he believed he was too good for a league that he helped bring us down too,

Genuine question, is. it. only supporters who are to show support?

Are players immune from those feelings of support ?

30 Sep 2025 01:39:00
can somebody give fat boy another pint and pie to keep his mouth shut. he's blown all the credibility he ever had, and now he's a pundit - MoTD is loosing it's respect as well.
