Just to clarify jr. you posted that you'd accept 5 points from the next 5 games?
I know a point a game is generally enough. Is that why you said it?
We should focus on beating the teams below us and around us.
5 wins is admittedly unlikely but would expect 3 at least.

Agree1 Disagree0

07 Oct 2025 12:32:20
Ah if only it were as easy as that Aus, trouble is it is not an exact science. Teams can play well and not be rewarded or vice versa! I would hope from these next five we can gain a decent haul, around 10 would be excellent 😁.

07 Oct 2025 13:32:23
Agree vid. Not a fair merry go round. But from what I’ve seen as said before. We are due some. So yep. Tbh happy with anything above 9. That should realistically be our goal.
Makes you wonder though. Does it really even itself out over a season.
Luck I mean.

07 Oct 2025 14:40:09
Does for me Aus regards luck…. I would say I’m a consistent 50/ 50 between, bad luck, and no luck at all.

07 Oct 2025 15:16:16
Funny class. You doing ok šŸ‘
So realistically.
It’s just the last three pattern results. Cause first three predictable. Ish.
So we should get 5 points we don’t deserve in next 3-5 games. Looking forward to it.
Too long to wait though. Bloody wales and who? .
Bored already.
Any quizzes or funny jokes or vids. ?

07 Oct 2025 15:39:09
Yeah class it is somewhere between no luck and awful luck. Think the don was right about the gypsy curse.

07 Oct 2025 16:34:07
its a point per game averaged over the season so yes we need to beat teams around us to compensate for not expecting points against the better teams. I think we need to see 3/ 4 wins in the next 5 to do that. 5 points will probably not be enough in this run of fixtures.

07 Oct 2025 17:38:25
Looking for a laugh aus watch bermondsey tales, multi award million pound grossing comedy hailed by critics. Made for pennies so can be compared to the big blockbuster movies.

Comparing my films to guy ritichies is like comparing leeds to Man City, but like leeds pound for pound did pretty well.

07 Oct 2025 17:46:22
Concur Alf, trouble is it can be like being permanently at a cross roads, beat Burnley and momentum going into winnable games, lose and pressure is racked right up. Such a fine line between success and failure and getting on a run is vital, indeed you could say if we won all 5 it would all but secure our safety. I feel good about it though and I think we also may well surprise in the matches against Citeh, Chelski and Pool. UTWDTP it's going to be allwhite 😁.

07 Oct 2025 17:57:30
Is that Bermondsey Tales Fall of the Roman Empire Bermo?

07 Oct 2025 18:50:13
Yeah vid that, the last heist (terry stone, Emily Wyatt, Perry benson) and a gangsters kiss (saide frost, John hannnah matin Kemp) are the three films I’ve released to date.

Meeting across the river (Frank harper) is on YouTube I think but not sure if that’s a public or private release.

07 Oct 2025 19:42:10
Excellent mate! I used to have a pint or 2 wiv Geoff Bell in the KH in Deal, big Wall fan lol, decent geezer, told me some stories! When I met him he was doing Guy Ritchies King Arthur Legend of the Sword, got chatting and told him I had beenv doing am dram for 15 years, his last word was, of course Dave the difference between you an me is I am professional šŸ˜†šŸ˜… He has moved back to London now.

07 Oct 2025 19:45:47
Yeah I watched it on the train a while back.
Good script I thought but some proper ropey acting by some of the cast!
Seriously though it was fairly entertaining way to pass the time on my way back from Dublin.

07 Oct 2025 19:45:48
Aus -Saying I'd accept 5 doesn't mean I'd be happy with that. I originally had in my mind 10 points from the first 10 games or by Nov 1st.

07 Oct 2025 19:52:03
sorry pressed send too early
. games 11 and 12 (Forest and Villa) seemed more difficult so I added 1 each for them too. 15 would be fantastic to take into a run of 3 very difficult games (Man C, Chelsea, Liverpool) but 7-9 is a realistic ambition, and I'd be delighted with that. šŸ™‚šŸ™‚šŸ™‚šŸ™‚šŸ¤ž.

08 Oct 2025 06:55:09
Bermo for some reason failed to mention my critically acclaimed work as an extra in Gangsters Kiss and that our very own DJ (who hasn't posted for a while, c'mon DJ) appears in quite a few of them.

08 Oct 2025 09:51:18
Sorry alf of course got a large number of leeds fans and few from this site in there.

I’m meeting Geoff bell in a couple of weeks. Top bloke and great actor.

And thanks cork for supporting the film. Just to give context on my films. Last heist budget was around 60k I believe, meeting across the river 14k, bermondsey takes 250k.

Now guy ritchies snatch was 10 million back in 1996.

You spent ten million on a house in 1996 compare it to what you’d get spending 250k on a house in 2024?

Football is like films you have to consider spend when judging it. Gillingham can’t compete with Man City like my films can’t be compared to 98% of things you watch on telly.

06 Oct 2025 21:57:52
If anyone got a spare hour n a half i highly recommend watching Kenny Dalglish on Stick to Football episode.
If you're a British football lover especially of a certain age it's a not to miss piece of entertainment.
Starts off a bit slow and maybe even awkward but what follows is absolutely brilliant. Even had a lump in my throat at the end.
KD a proper British football legend.

Agree great interview.

06 Oct 2025 22:17:58
Totally agree Corkey. Just wish, at times, it came with subtitles.

07 Oct 2025 07:16:10
Brilliant leodis,

I was in West Lothian last month and as soon as the drinks started going I needed a translator, mind you do did they with me.

07 Oct 2025 16:34:37
KD one of m, y all time faves.

Russell Martin now available and he’d probably be interested in the Leeds job, thoughts?

Agree3 Disagree0

06 Oct 2025 21:20:11
No way, not for me.
Not as good as he thinks he is!

06 Oct 2025 21:28:24
Great post did make me chuckle.

06 Oct 2025 21:39:01
Doesn’t look a goal scorer OP, and think Joel could beat him over first ten yards, must be some better free options than RM.

06 Oct 2025 21:45:41
Great class.

06 Oct 2025 21:49:52
OP. He’s now became available due to being sacked for making such a pigs ear of a team that’s in a league with only 2 teams competing for the title every season. Already 11 points adrift of Celtic. So therefore that’s the league title already wrapped up. After only 7 games being played. He didn’t exactly set the heather on fire with Southampton in the premiership last season either. I’m not sure if you’re extracting the urine or being serious? If it’s the former, I never knew you had such a decent sense of humour. That’s a proper thigh slapper. Almost lifted the gloom of the spurs defeat that did.

06 Oct 2025 22:00:23
I’m confident it was a joke post and very good one. Certainly made me chuckle.

06 Oct 2025 22:35:36
C+ J he was taking zee urine 🤣.

06 Oct 2025 22:36:46
Have you seen RM's missus tho'?
He should stay at home and play ball with her, she's a hottie :-)

06 Oct 2025 22:37:17
You are taking the p1ss aren't you OP, my only thoughts are not to be used in polite company.

07 Oct 2025 06:15:59
Of course I’m not serious, I’m just trying to imply the thought of be thankful of what we’ve got and that it can, I promise you, be oh so much worse.

In fairness to Martin he did get the better over Farke in the play off final but that’s where I draw the line of the difference of the two coaches.
Neither coach has developed himself in the Premiership either but my guess is that Farke will achieve that in due course with Leeds.

07 Oct 2025 07:27:09
Chris are you sure? The silence is suspicious! 🤣
Also RM always reminds me on Nick Knowles for some reason. Always expected him to produce a guitar on the sidelines.

07 Oct 2025 09:12:27
Have to remember RM played under Farke so may have formulated a lot of his coaching from Daniel.

For myself both in losing to RM saints at ER and in the playoffs the team froze, on both occasions and whilst it was difficult to watch it’s very Leedsy and not a total surprise given our very young team and there be so much more expectation on a very young Leeds side.

Remember smallbone bossing midfield for Saints in both games, he’s an ok player now at Wall of all places but that little bit of experience was the difference for me on those games not the respective abilities of the two coaches.

Like all bad experiences you hope you learn from them and I think we did and it helped to build us into the record breaking championship winning team.

07 Oct 2025 09:47:39
Brilliant OP, Class and Sheds!

07 Oct 2025 09:54:10
You’re right about all that Class, i sometimes wonder actually with that very young squad and of course we would have added more experience and quality to that squad had we been promoted, but I can’t help feel that maybe it was a blessing in disguise the we were not promoted that season.
In my opinion we now have a team of players that might be able to deal better in keeping us up than had it been with the previous group of players.
All hypothetical of course but most of all i’m just so glad we are back in the Premiership playing against all the best teams in the land.
No club deserves to be in the Premiership League without merit, you have to earn that privilege and I believe we have, let’s all hope we can make it sustainable for a long time.

07 Oct 2025 10:01:04
It's a good thing that Farke is half decent because even after all of those defeats, the 49ers didn't sack Martin, the crowd did.

would ER ever become so hostile that a manager would need a police escort to leave? Farke is here for life.

07 Oct 2025 10:46:37
OP I remember Smallbone playing against us down there, took one of our players out (forget who) with terrible late tackle, should've got a straight red but only got a yellow, and popped up 10 mins later to score the winning goal.

07 Oct 2025 11:32:40
Sorry, that was for Classof92.

07 Oct 2025 12:18:31
Had forgotten that JR good point probably why Wall have signed him now.

07 Oct 2025 12:27:09
Yes JR, i wouldn’t say they deserved their win, far from it. But perhaps because they did, arguably unfairly, then i would say what comes around, goes around and that's for RM personally as a coach and Southampton FC.
I don’t need to point a finger and gloat, I always have that faith in justice or that the true balance in football is always served in the end.
In my very biased mind neither Southampton, Ipswich or Leicester with their PSR dodging merited Premiership football last season and where are they now.

07 Oct 2025 14:20:29
That being said about the true balance of fairness in football, I’m still waiting for the pay back from Paris 75’.

07 Oct 2025 18:54:35
Nick kwoles comment flawed me, any excuse to sing at the drop of a hat!

06 Oct 2025 10:48:35
I think Farke has made a note in his interviews that certain players or just a player maybe showing signs of perhaps trying too hard. I believe that message Is probably directed in Calvert Lewin’s direction and maybe one or two others that I think of.

That would configure in the shots on goal which are not producing actual goals yet.

DCL in particular has a lot to prove in his personal career and is possibly guilty of not channeling his energy and focus in producing a positive outcome.
I think Farke is the perfect coach to get him on the right track sooner than later and I believe DCL is our main ticket to survival in this league with his goals.
Patience is required for him in particular and I believe he will come good.

Agree3 Disagree0

06 Oct 2025 10:58:14
Well said. Putting the ball in the net is the hardest part of football.

06 Oct 2025 12:42:07
DCL has always been a bit of a 'streak' player who does miss chances relatively often.

06 Oct 2025 13:31:09
Personally speaking I am in not slightest surprised that's he's fluffing chances, he's done this throughout his career, I was never enthused by this signing, so can't really blame him as we really should have seen what we were getting

And all this palava, oh he's getting into good positions 🤦🤣
Wonder does that count. in goal scoring charts.

06 Oct 2025 14:32:06
Letting him cook, as the kids say.

Once he settles in to the crowd and Leeds United atmosphere, I've no doubt he will knock them in for fun.

06 Oct 2025 14:58:35
for every 5 good positions a striker gets into we get awarded a goal.

06 Oct 2025 15:06:43
🤣🤣🤣 Alf.

06 Oct 2025 16:35:39
Chris, apart from the German at Newcastle, which mega buy striker from this window is scoring commensurate with their price tag. I'll give you a clue, hardly any. Aside from Haaland, everyone is firing blanks thus far this season. Look how many guilt-edge chances Salah missed at the weekend. I'm not sure of the factual stats, but anecdotally there seems to be a lot of misses this season.

Our top scorer has the same number of goals as Salah, Gakpo, Saka, Wellbeck, who are all proven strikers at this level and have always outscored DCL. Ollie Watkins? Jaidon Anthony has scored twice as many as those above and plenty around here were saying he wasn't good enough for us in the Championship, never mind the EPL.

DCL will come good, I am confident of that; he's getting into the positions. It's not as if there is any alternative in any event.

06 Oct 2025 17:09:10
It's just another thing where I think it's too soon to decide either way. Given more match time, I think he will start to deliver goals. His all round play puts him way above our recent 9's, and even from his chances, I don't think JP would have more. It begs the question, based on Ani's point, what exactly is it that people want? Erling, Kane? because those are the only types who can deliver what's being demanded!

06 Oct 2025 17:14:35
You can’t judge Calvert-Lewin yet in the very short period he’s been at Leeds. He’s been playing Everton’s style of football for some years now and for various coaches.
His adaption to fit in with us over night is perhaps a little premature. Every fan always wants a new player to hit the ground running and adapt seamlessly but sadly and more to the point realistically, this doesn’t happen very often.

To compare his time at Everton, with where he is now means very little in my opinion. The optics are very different in many aspects.
He knows what’s at stake here and for himself personally and I’m sure he fully understands the very heavy weight of expectation from the Leeds Utd fans.

He has got the experience of the Premiership already on his side along with the spotlight that this league can sometimes pick out individual players for good or bad.
For me he’s got the character to deal with it, for the ones that want to denounce him already then I think you are mistaken and will be proven wrong by the goals that he is very capable of scoring.

06 Oct 2025 17:24:02
Agreed Ani on zero alternative, but you mention Salah, top scorer last season, so that point is a bit moot, because he will score rubbish loads

I have never rated Lewin, that's why I ain't surprised he's fluffing a fair few, furthermore I don't believe he will come good,

I would however attach a little caveat to that claim, surely our mid's and wingers should also be included also in the question of lack of goals thus far

Jack + Brendan could play for weeks without scoring, That's our reality, we won't be able to attract better players until we are established in this league.

06 Oct 2025 18:44:05
Lots of strikers blanking

Look at fantasy football wingers or inside footballers often put score strikers and aside from a few not many out and out strikers any more

Was spurs top scorer own goals before Saturday? That was definatly true for someone o heard it on motd.

As for dcl my mate who is Everton season ticket holder loves him. Said great player who is bit if a confidence player but in his day unplayable.

06 Oct 2025 19:39:27
DCL hasn’t got in to double figures since 20/ 21 season.
I can’t see it happening again this season unfortunately. However if he stays relatively fit he could still pick us up points by scoring match winning goals in a few games. If he were to score say 8 league goals it’s quite possible six of those could be match winning goals giving us 18 points.
Maybe I’m just trying to be positive because he was a a very underwhelming signing?

06 Oct 2025 22:51:52
Farke is right about DCL (and others) trying too hard. More than one of his efforts in recent games gave me the impression that he was concentrating too much on hitting the target, and ending up with a pat a cake shot that was easy for the goalie. He needs to sometimes just put his laces through it and risk missing the goal, but maybe work the keeper harder and even if it's saved someone might score from the rebound like Okafor did on Saturday.

07 Oct 2025 06:41:37
You’re right JR, I also think Farke believes he can coach DCL into a better finisher, probably needs to get back to the basics and try not to look like a goal scorer with finesse.
Basically he needs to be more of a beast than a ballerina.
He definitely has the goal scorers instinct as more often than not he knows where to position himself, equally it’s his instincts that need to get the ball in the net and not his mind.

07 Oct 2025 09:53:42
He'll get double digits this season i reckon. And more if he stays fit. His aerial threat alone can deliver that. Plus, that threat, and the defensive focus on him, will also create the space for our raft of 50pence heads!

07 Oct 2025 14:26:58
Bright, I reckon Joe Rodon should wear one of those John McEnroe style thick headbands, might take the edge off his angled bonce.

07 Oct 2025 16:38:56
i would estimate around 10 goals for DCL this season if he stays fit which I would take right now given the choice.

07 Oct 2025 17:25:55
Was it Steve Foster at Luton who always wore a massive headband too, back in the 80's?

07 Oct 2025 18:52:45
🤣 Yes you are right Bright. I remember them beating Arsenal in the league cup final and Foster was the Luton captain. Proper 80’s style, permed hair and headband, not sure he had the Graeme Souness tosh though 🤣.

08 Oct 2025 07:33:37
Indeed! Back in the day when cup finals were broadcast on both main channels, and anyone who liked football watched it all day, year in year out, irrespective of the teams in the final! Good times!

Key Issues Liverpool FC Need To Address

{Ed's Note - NewPaisley79 has posted a new article entitled, Key Issues Liverpool FC Need To Address

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Oct 2025 17:42:22
Don’t believe for one minute we will take 15 points from the next 5 games but every game should be winnable. Important period and could be the catalyst for either being comfortable this season or showing we have big problems losing points to our close rivals. All 5 games are teams currently in the bottom 8.

Agree3 Disagree0

05 Oct 2025 20:39:40
we have to beat burnley and wetsham . we lose to them and we are in the battle.

06 Oct 2025 06:48:55
We’re going to be in a battle to stay up regardless of those two matches.

06 Oct 2025 07:45:14
We have already dropped much more than I expected. If you say the next 5 are winnable then we should win them.

06 Oct 2025 08:58:23
Aus annoyed we ain’t in top three!

06 Oct 2025 09:11:06
In all seriousness aus how have we dropped many more points than you expected?

We beat Everton which in there form was a good result, beat wolves away from home. Drew with Newcastle who are a top side?

So the loss to fulham a draw maybe? Was you expecting anything against arsenal or spurs?

Even if hoping for draw against Fulham and spurs then that’s only two points, not many is it?

I think it’s just delusions of gradure or self enetitied or maybe stupid anti farke agenda

I think draw against Everton and loss to Newcastle was expected so we got three more points than I thought newly promoted leeds would have

Maybe you need to taper you expectations otherwise this is going to be a long season for us on this forum.

06 Oct 2025 09:22:10
The battle started with the very first kick off! No illusions! We are in the mix, and every point will count. It could yet be that we even look back at scenarios where we now feel we've dropped points, and think it was a good point gained.
The next 5 matches are big opportunities to put a gap between us and the others, but our performances, bar 1, have suggested we have enough, and are good enough to stay up.

06 Oct 2025 10:10:27
Agree bright, it’s about expectations and appreciating where we are as opposed to where we feel leeds United should be.

We are in the mix for relegation but that’s to be expected and if we go down fighting so be it. I can handle relegation it’s the lack of fight and game plan that kills me and this year we have both in abundance.

06 Oct 2025 10:23:05
I don’t like losing berm. Simple.
I don’t like drawing when we should win. Simple.
I like winning.
I reserve the right to complain when we lose or draw. I reserve the right to criticise players and or manager if I feel they could have done better.
Everton lol. With a brand new grealish. Hardly in form.
The trouble with you Rosie’s is that you post on hope and opinion. Not based on fact.
Fact. 1 point from 9 which shoulda been at least 5 probably 7.
Tell me berm. You’re keen on pattens. How does 8 from 21 sound to you? All hunky dory.
There are teams below us that are poor thank goodness. But we are inn the mix. Make no mistake about it.

06 Oct 2025 10:24:54
If we win at west ham and Burnley then we're good for the season.

If we draw, depending on circumstances, we're in a fight.

If we lose or get battered, then a serious rethink of our strategy needs to take place.

06 Oct 2025 10:27:06
Agree re the performances bright. Just the points dropped I’m not happy about. And dare I say the lack of fire power.
Buckle up for a long season berm. I ain’t going nowhere. Unless the grim reaper comes a calling.

06 Oct 2025 11:03:17
Everyone reserves the right to an opinion but as my nan use to say opinions are like a@@seholez everyone has one.

And just because someone has an opinion don’t mean the rest of the world should listen or take them seriously. I remember some Austrian fella who had strong opinions in Germany and he was probably best ignored as well.

Truth is if you like winning have a season off or support Man City.

We are in for a relegation battle so like it or lump it. Most weeks we will lose and rightly so that’s how relegation battles work

The players and the manager are doing the best and what’s expected of them.

I remember during Belisa second season I left the forum as I wanted him gone. Then at the end of the season I said I’m back and we’ll done to Belisa

I suggest you like me do the decent thing until
The end of the season it’s better for all of us and like me it’s what a decent bloke would do.

06 Oct 2025 12:24:49
No fan likes to see his team lose, we all deal and process it in our own way. No one has the right way to do that.

06 Oct 2025 12:45:12
point per game is realistic this season and should see us stay up. we currently have 8 from 7 so performing just above where I think we should be as things stand.

06 Oct 2025 14:26:26
That’s just pathetic bermo. Shame on you.
Only you could reference that. Surprised you didn’t get banned for it tbh.

06 Oct 2025 14:27:24
Very true opti. And hopefully Alf.

06 Oct 2025 14:47:22
Burnley and Wet Spam are definately winnable, Villa, BHA and Forest less so, though Forest without Elanga are not as good as last year, and their managerial turmoil might be a factor. I'd take 5 points from 5, but would prefer at least 7.

06 Oct 2025 15:41:41
Think we need to be taking 10 points from the next 5 personally.

06 Oct 2025 16:41:47
I agree LAD2, if only to quieten down some of nay-sayers, sorry, I mean the "realists! " [oh, the irony of realists constantly questioning our reality! ].

06 Oct 2025 18:47:45
Don’t try and be like that aus and take me out of context.

Shame on me for saying hitler was out of order and shouldn’t of been listened to? Why should I get banned for that? If anything that’s the most true comment anyone has made in this forum. Hitler was destesable and I’m surprised you disagree?

As for no right way to take it. Sorry op but I disagree.
No fan likes losing but as a newly promoted take we should take our performances with pride.

If we start losing to the bottom teams badly or give up fight like under Belisa then I will kick off

But at the moment I’m pride of the lads wearing our shirt and think anyone who disagrees or can’t handle getting beat doesn’t deserve to be part of the leeds faithful.

06 Oct 2025 19:55:53
Unbelievable talk Berm. Aus like us all is quite entitled to air his views as this site gives us that opportunity.
You’ve said many times as you live in south London it’s great to come on here and chat Leeds and I’m sure it’s the same for Aus. And then to suggest he effs of until the end of the season because he may disagree with you is absolutely taking the Michael.
You have been one person on here who has gotten very touchy about what you have perceived to be personal insults on yourself and even asked for those to be banned. Thankfully I don’t think Aus is as over sensitive as you.

06 Oct 2025 20:42:31
Corky aus admitted he got a temp ban because of what he said about me.

He then wheeled out the millwall jibe which is just out of order and out of place.

Now I’ve got a lot of stock over the years on this site for my Belisa and Phillips views which is fair enough. Now I accepted it wasn’t popular and took myself off the site for about eight months until Belisa got us promoted.

Now aus if moaning constantly like I did so I suggested that like me he takes a break from the site which he refused to do.

Getting banned and the millwall jibe for me shows a lack of class, the I don’t accept losing shows lack of realisim (and is something I destest in football fans) if we cheer winning we have to take losing however painful that might be that’s part of being a fan.

Now if he is allowed to air his views fair enough but then my views are his views are so wide of the mark is laughable and his attitude as a fan is embarrassing.

And after his personal and Ill millwall jibe i don’t see why I should not air my views about he’s?

I’d love to know what aus said about me to get the temp ban in the first place?

Also corky aus litterally mentions me getting banned in this thread, do you not see any irony there?

Views are view, disagreements are fine but personal jibes have no place on this forum but then that’s just my view.

06 Oct 2025 21:04:03
Also cork just thought about this, my advice to aus was to do what I did when I was in his position the year we came up? In what world is that taking the Michael

Now as for aus he admitted he got a temp ban due to a comment aimed at me then came out with the millwall comment, both times no apology? And I’m taking the Michael? Think about that cork? Do you still think your post was correct?

I stand by my point Berm.
You are way too touchy. So what if Aus mentioned you n Milwall as you yourself mention them on many occasions. He was only jesting I believe?
Oh Aus did apologise by the way.

06 Oct 2025 21:50:06
He didn’t apologise aus and it wasn’t in jest, aus clearly don’t jest with me otherwise he wouldn’t of got banned in the first place.

Now if you stand by the point that giving someone advice that I took myself is taking the Michael then you clearly either didn’t understand your post or lack the logic to see it through

As for me being too touchy, I have bullies, never stomached them, now aus said something that I took offence too, others in this forum said it was out of order and uncalled for as well, yet no apology

Now I think that’s just bullying. If I genuily upset anyone I’d happy apologise and try and make right. Decent thing to do. But then that’s only my opnion.

06 Oct 2025 22:36:35
I must have missed something but what did Aus actually say?
I thought he just called you a Milwall fan or something similar.
I can see why you’re offended when I think about it.

06 Oct 2025 22:49:32
No worries mate,

If it was a mate or a joke I wouldn’t mind. Ask the people on this forum who know me in person I love a joke and anything personal or even dark (about me) makes me laugh

What I hate is bullies and when people say things in this forum that they wouldn’t get away with saying in person I do find that offensive, when all it takes is a sorry mate I didn’t mean it or sorry I didn’t think it would offend.

I get a lot of internet trolling in my job and I find it either cowardly and/ or destestable.

07 Oct 2025 10:00:26
The whole Millwall thing is just soooo bloody old, and Aus has been here long enough to know that it ain't necessary, and long past funny.
I'd just add that no one "likes" losing, it's about how you react, and bermo is right (imo) : this season more than any we need the performances as the start. The points will, and are coming, on the back of that.
The 2 real site agitators are gone thankfully, so let's try not to create any more.

07 Oct 2025 15:43:39
Great post bright fully agree,

I hate losing it ruins my weekend and after the derby game I genuinely think I hit a state of depression.

I also often the first to call for managers heads but also realistic standards must be needed.

Under Wilko, monk, farke and o dreary until his book lost the dressing room the teams all played with passion and pride and fought for the badge that’s all we can ask

I. The championship we are one of the best in the prem one of the worst. I can accept that but give a big of passion and pride and I’ll wear my shirt with pride if you don’t show that I’ll start kicking off because I’m a very sore loser.

The games against Fulham, Bournemouth and yesterday against spurs all come down to not taking our chances. We miss too many chances that the opposition don’t. We had more attempts on target than Bournemouth and spurs did, and had the same as Fulham had, yet we have came away with 1 point from these 3 games. DCL is a handful in the air, but he’s missing bundles of chances. Although BA had a shot on target that ƒkafor tapped in, that’s his total offensive contribution. DF is as stubborn or loyal to him as he was with Meslier in goal. He clearly doesn’t think Bijol is up to replacing pascal, similar to his refusal to give Rama a chance in the championship. Longstaff has been a plus. More forward thinking than I expected. Midfield in general too negative for me, but that’s how DF likes it. Was Bogle injured yesterday? If not, why take him off on89th minute? Get him up the field Daniel. Where’s Willy?

Agree1 Disagree0

05 Oct 2025 18:39:16
Not sure if Bogle was injured C&J, but I would have taken him off way before 89 minutes, he was poor (relatively) yesterday. He seldom tried to take his man on and his crosses were all poor.

I don’t buy the continued Farke stubborn narrative. He didn’t play Rama because Solomon and Firpo was ripping it up every game. Who’s going to start ahead of Aaronson really? Gnonto and James are injured.

05 Oct 2025 20:08:05
Ani, I'd prefer Harrison over BA. Those dozen minutes he was on left wing until Noah went off, him and Bogle looked more of a threat down the right than the whole game.

05 Oct 2025 20:36:50
Granted it wasn’t his finest game for us ani, but I thought taking him off a minute before injury time was a strange substitution, hence I assumed he had picked up a knock on his injured foot again. It must be loyalty with DF then. As for who should start ahead of BA, I think and have said numerous times I would have Bogle there and Justin into right back. Just purely on Bogle’s usual decent attacking ability, coupled with his defensive skills getting back to help Justin when needed. I think it’s worth trying. I know DJ and Willy are both injured, but what’s Willy’s injury and what timescale we looking at for him returning? As I said in my previous post, it’s the missed chances that’s the problem. We are more than matching our opponents. Here’s hoping it will start clicking and we start banging in the chances we create.

05 Oct 2025 21:03:02
C&J, that’s a good call re Bogle and Justin, likewise ILK’s suggestion is a decent shout. I’m no particular fan of BA, other than for his nuisance value. He did lose the ball a lot yesterday to be fair, but it’s his scatterbrained effort that sometimes pays off, e. g. his shot yesterday and likewise the suicide pass to DCL against Wolves that led to Stach’s free kick.

I thought a few were off colour yesterday, but they all tried very hard and I genuinely thought we would get something from the game (we deserved to) .

I understand Gnonto might be back after the international break.

05 Oct 2025 22:20:46
Interesting you mentioned Harrison Koch.
I said during the game when we were slowly passing the ball around waiting for the red carpet to be rolled out for us 'look the only one making runs into space with purpose is the Bielsa boy'.
I was annoyed by our slow pace when chasing the game.

06 Oct 2025 14:54:27
Farke said Willi's problem was "just a calf strain" and that he will "return to training soon".

05 Oct 2025 15:23:41
I correct myself. Previously I have said that if a manager was unwilling to take us on as champs then no chance ce as relegating n fodder. But. It's possible under the right guidance we aren't fodder and could be attractive to a decent ( please ) manager.

05 Oct 2025 18:42:54
My hope is that at the Jan transfer window our position will give better players confidence to come to us.

05 Oct 2025 21:40:51
Agree aus if one home defeat in this well over a year isn’t worthy of sacking a manager then nothing is!

In other news doctor who cures cancer is instantly struck off and teacher who get record grades for student forced to retire.

šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚.

06 Oct 2025 13:21:37
Scoring goals from chances are never borne easy, creating chances though is vital which we do and better than I imagined.
In my book so long as you are creating those chances, the goals will come along with the positive results.

06 Oct 2025 18:49:24
Very true op couldn’t agree more.

05 Oct 2025 03:53:45
Lots of good posts below.
Fact is. Fulham, Bournemouth and spurs were no better than us but only 1 point. Fine margins and playing well Dosent keep you up.
Struik shouldn't have started today and was worse player again. Even player ratings said same. What's point of having cover but not using it when a player isn't playing well.
Anybody know why Bogle was sub at 89 minutes. Why did we juggle defense when we are losing.
Dcl is a striker. He is paid to score. Don't care if he gets in good positions, holds up play and has neat and tidy hair. He will not and is not scoring enough goals so should be dropped. Simple.
Now, if we had invested in a striker in the summer he would not be playing.
Think we played better once ao was on.
International break now and Farke will forget how bad struik and dcl are and pick them again.
It's very frustrating being the nearly men. A decent striker and we be in top 10 comfortably. 8 points from those games is not enough. We shoulda had 12 at least.
I wonder what the bossmen were expecting after 7 games. Bet it was more than 8 points.
Well done Okafor for converting the chances presented and Longstaff again was on it.

06 Oct 2025 15:00:26
Agreed CJS, but sadly the better players are rarely available in the Jan window,

07 Oct 2025 07:06:33
We might be back in for a bid on Harry Wilson in January? His contract ends in the summer I believe and I get the impression he wants to leave. That may also coincide with the departure of Meslier which would probably free up the funds to help buy Wilson.
I’d be surprised if we were in the market for any other players in January unless we get a lot of injuries at the same time and I expect they would only be a loan deal due to PSR.

07 Oct 2025 10:02:11
To be honest OP, I wasn't keen on Wilson at all, but he's another who is changing my opinion! Having a good start to the season, and would be a welcome signing in Jan!

05 Oct 2025 07:36:51
I thought we played really well again, we are just lacking that bit of quality to bury the many chances that we are creating.
Fans can go on about the recruitment was lacking in our forward line but they are not facing the facts that we neither can attract that quality or pay for it at this moment of time.
So we have to deal with what we have and I am very happy to see us going very close to beating teams that have far more quality players in their teams than we have, that gives me the belief that we do have a chance to stay up this season and I’m sure Farke is telling his squad exactly that message.

For the followers of stats, you can see that we are the better team, our passing accuracy, shots, shots on goal etc etc are all plus of our opponents, I’m personally not a big believer in stats as many are on this forum, but I don’t need those stats to tell me that we are putting up the fight and holding our own in the Premiership.
A little bit of luck in some of these games, which we haven’t really had yet and we will be taking all three points.
In the end I believe it’s going to be enough for us to survive this season if we stay on this same trajectory.
Onwards and Upwards.

Agree6 Disagree0

05 Oct 2025 09:32:23
Agree that luck hasn't really been on our side yet OP but I have a feeling that DCL will come good fairly soon.

Once that happens the chances will be taken and our unlucky losses will become draws and draws become wins

As you say, onwards and upwards: )

05 Oct 2025 13:20:23
Top posts above. Perfectly logical make believe.
Please tell which game it will start to rectify itself cleggy.
We are playing ok. Holding our own but very little to show for it.
The lack of cutting edge is showing.
Good teams get relegated. I’m not saying we are down but we are throwing points away too much.

05 Oct 2025 13:40:10
Get the frustrations and subsequent teeth gnashing Aus, and I think you have an argument in terms of Bijol replacing Struick BUT we do look in the main very compact and organised in defence, so whilst I agree, in principle it’s quite a significant risk to change a settled back Line especially with Burnley and WH to come next?

I would rather look at different formations, that possibly gets Piroe as our current best finisher on the pitch first.

If we’re going to change Struick worth also considering Bogle in front of JJ as others have previously suggested by others but bottom line, we need more quality on every cross final pass and think we’re missing AO and Manor in this area.

Having said that Solomon sub and didn’t come on last game and Largie only got 15mins in another defeat.

Tom Fellows had one of best assists, expected goals created (from crosses) in championship last year and it was definitely an opportunity missed in letting him go to saints.

Next two games will definitely confirm where we are in relation to the other expected strugglers but I still think we just need a bit of luck and things will turn for us.

05 Oct 2025 14:40:03
Well said class

We are a newly promoted team and the gulf between leagues is bigger than ever.

I think a level of realism and expectations has to be met.

It’s frustrating we ain’t got more points but promising that it’s down to bit of luck and fine margins rather than recent seasons with say saints or ipwisch who never looked like staying up

I know it winds some people up but has to be pointed out.

Unders Belisa spurs beat is 7-1 we were a joke ripped apart with ease and looked certain for relegation

Surely all can agree that yesterday was better than that and we have reasons to be positive and hopeful?

Do we look like relegation foddder? In my honest opinion no we don’t.

05 Oct 2025 15:20:34
And we got 8 points class.
No we are not being bashed like Bielsa but so what.
We are dropping points. Goal difference only matters at 1. Points matter more. We are dropping them. Fine margins are going against us. It’s staring us in the face. No tricks. 8 from 7. Some of you might be happy bunnies but losing not in my dna. Hate it. Know it has to happen. But never make excuses for it. Win win win. Especially at home.
We know what’s coming right. The man who loves gk is gggggoing. And deservedly so.
For being arrogant enough to think he is always right when we and the world media and pundits know he ain’t.

05 Oct 2025 16:05:56
8 points Aus šŸ‘

6 more than Wolves
4 more than Burnley
4 more than West Ham
2 more than Florists
1 more than Bees Before they play Citeh.

05 Oct 2025 17:13:41
Oops 3 more than Florists but Ange lost 7 straight since taking over, conceding 15 goals.

05 Oct 2025 17:37:31
Think 13th - 20th currently have the bottom 3 come end of season already in it, Based on 1st 7 games.

West Ham haven’t improved in the transfer market but I see nuno getting them out of trouble.

Ange yet to be seen what to do at Florist but seems they may struggle.

I think currently wolves and Burnley will be down and if Brentford stick with Andrews till the end it could be them.

05 Oct 2025 19:58:14
Sunderland will definitely be in the relegation mix as well come the end of season.

05 Oct 2025 21:16:33
Totally agree OP.

05 Oct 2025 21:43:53
Aus if you want to win win win then glory hunt another team

See I’m leeds win lose or draw!

Now where I do draw the line is being a joke like we were under Belisa at the end. That hurt because I wasn’t getting banter I was getting pity… but as you just put so what that doesn’t matter?

That’s the most incoherent post ever, I have to win but if Belisa is the manager I don’t mind getting smashed every week?

Honestly lost for words.

06 Oct 2025 09:26:39
Agree re Black cats. False position right now, and they are definitely in the mix.
