Do we really want back a player that only managed 2 half seasons in his last two full seasons with us and hasn't played regular football since? Don't fancy adding another player who's susceptible to injuries/ fitness issues. Already have enough of those. And 46 games a season is a proper slog with two game a week. He'd literally break.

Again nothing in transfer window happens fast at LUFC, looks like Harrison going back to toffees, happy with that.
Seems Rodon off, massive disappointment as my player of season.
The players i really wanted to keep or get back were Amps, Rodon, james, Gray and Gruev, all others happy to see go if price right.
I hope we can convince Wober to stay and have him and struijk as back 2 CBs.
If we can get 55-65 mil for cre and gnoto then good business, i'd definitely try bring back Jack Clarke, has improved.

Mentioned a few days nack, Melb, but accounting year ends June 30. Only expect us to sell before then to fulfill PSR/ FFP obligations. As I understand, there is generally a 14 day wiggle room to allow sales to processed that can be added towards.

I'd expect incoming only after we've sold someone (if before June 30) or after June 30.

Not unduly worried about signings, in fact I would not be too upset if we didn’t make any signings, it’s a significant outlay and very often the player signed is not off epl standard.

No problem with bit of bargain shopping in div 1 and 2 as there are real nuggets waiting to be picked up there.

Recent history has shown with Burnley, Luton and Ipswich the loan market is sufficiently productive to get a team promoted.

Think Kiefer Moore made a significant impact to the tractor boys and Chelsea seems to provide a significant pool of talent to tap into.

Loan players like lower league players have a point to prove and are hungry for success for me that’s better than an European bargain who takes half a season to acclimatise.

There is an abundance of talent available, picking correctly and securing deals is the hard bit but I’m happy to wait for the right person over any person.

A report yesterday suggested that the red bull deal means that we don’t even have to sell before the end of the month. I’m sure that there are discussions in the background. Contracts tend to end either end of June, or end of July too, for any frees we are considering.

I'm sure we'll delve into the loan market, Class. Few points to note would be the amount of loan players EFL clubs are allowed to sign has been reduced to SIX this upcoming season. Could impact on naming a full 25-man squad list as well. For me, I think three is a decent number to add in certain areas. Would prefer to buy younger players who are capable now but with potential upside, and loan in some experience.

1970, yes I agree with you on Fernandez. Sulking, moaning child. Always looking to get fellow players booked and continually looking for free kicks whenever he’s tackled. I don’t know why, but he always reminds me on the beaver in Disney’s lady and the tramp. And I like the beaver!
Everything that Baz says, apart from franny Lee. He got a silver medal against big norm, but he was a right handful of a player . And I know it was in the 90’s but I always found the Neville’s sneaky and dislikeable.

There’s a few to go at in the EPL with Fernandez definitely one of the front runners. Also got to include Anthony at Man U, what an insipid little turd that lad is.
Not a fan of Dick Van Dyke at Pool, but one of my main dislikes in the EPL is Arteta, cannot abide the man with his moaning and double standards.

A shame a crowd favourite last season but objectively we still have a semi decent defense, with Ampadu, Struijk when he returns fit hopefully, Cresswell as first backup. We will need one new one (what happened to diego Monteiro? Anyone who watches the youth squads know if he looks deserving of a backup role or destined to be another Orta failure.

RB needed. (Preferably one who likes to push forward and can cross) Gray will be used in midfield next season.

RCB needed. (Preferably a ball player and a good, attacking header of the ball)

LB needed if we cash in on Firpo given he's entered his last 12 months and his stock is kinda high. Would say it's more likely than not that he goes. Don't mind if he stays tho. He was a good attacking outlet for us last season.

CB cover needed. Cresswell likely ain't getting game time if he stays (which I understand given his limitations on the ball and hiw they fit into how we play)

Don't wanna be playing Amps CB next season unless out of necessity. He can play there and play well, but prefer him in midfield.
