A different post - but I managed to wreck my ankle at the weekend almost the same way Alan Smith broke his leg vs. Liverpool. Torn ligaments and a possible fracture. As soon as I did it recalled his injury and just how similar it was, I did it in the last minute of the game just like him too lol.

I remember a rugby match with my brother, and he had a full foot dislocation fracture; we both came off so I could take him to hospital! Foot was on the wrong way ‘round! Awful injuries those!

My 13 yr old boy went in on a 50-50 with goalkeeper last kick of the last game of the season and smashed his ankle. Poor guy. And me. I had to carry him 200m to my car and take him to hospital. Tough as nails. Insisted on being in end of season team pic before I carried him.

I certainly think he's capable, Baz. Similar to Palmer in the respect that, he kinda marches to the beat of his own drum and will take risks further up the pitch instead of conforming to the negative tactics which seem to have been imposed on the team. Anyone willing to do that in the final third will open the game up for us. Personally I'd start Palmer over Saka and Gordon over Foden. Saka and Foden's form has been poor so far and doesn't look like changing any time soon. Need to inject some energy and liveliness into the team. As for Rice's partner in the centre. From the recent games I've watched, I thought Wharton had the best of the lot in there. Could make a case for him to start, for me. But seems unlikely to happen.

I agree Leodis that it’s more likely to be tactics. I think Palmer and zgordon were told “go help get a winner”, whereas Saka and Foden are told to keep things tight unless a clear opening is there. That’s far too cagey for me, with so much talent at the gaffer’s disposal.

Better plan is buy Szmodics (who will get us the goals from AM) and just move Rutter out to the wing. That way Farke can feel more comfortable playing Joseph (whom is better than Piroe and Bambi out together anyhow) . Won't happen though because it's too sensible.

I wouldn’t believe anything that is reported by the so called media. How often is it when a player who is signed nobody had any clue about his incoming.

The player I would love back at Leeds would be Jack Clarke, but since he has already been quoted as a potential signing he will definitely not be coming to Leeds this Summer.

On a side note I’m so glad that Jack Harrison is not playing for us this coming season, definitely don’t want any of those wasters back at our club.

Any respect I did have for JH has gone with his move back to Fudges. No ambition there, just nice words and money grabbing. He could’ve helped us more by holding out for a permanent move somewhere bigger and better than Everton if he really is that good. I’d guess OP is coming from the same point of view.

Annoying that PSR constraints have the potential to scupper any CF deal. There's plenty available in the free-£5m range (Mubama, which would be a small tribunal fee. Kvistgaarden £5m, to name a couple I've looked at and think would add to our team) . And of course there are loan options we could look into (Broja, Stansfield, to name a couple. Or an older head like Ings)

Forgive me Dilli if you've already mentioned him but the Georgian right back, Kakabadze, looks like a proper defender.
If we want to move Archie back to his natural midfield position and there's no room for Drameh (and God forbid Rasmus! ) , then could do far worse than this lad.

No mate, I've not seen much of him tbf. Generally out of my scope for age range. I tend to track younger players with potential and the odd older player who I've followed for a while.

They looked impressive last night did Georgia. Kvaradona and Mikautadze are quality players. Chakvetadze is someone I might do a profile on. Looked good at Watford when I saw him last season, too.
